La Maison Gustave

Our stay at Maison Gustave was as close to perfect as anyone could expect. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was superb and comfortable, and the provided snacks and petit breakfast was wonderful. We stayed on the top floor for a better "view" but we're at the same level as tree canopies. I suggest one floor lower for the better view and larger windows. And please heed their warnings about the stairs. They are small and tricky. But the provided rails, lighting, and condition made them more than acceptable and secure. You will not regret a stay at Maison Gustave.

Comprehensive breakfast; clean, rather cozy and well-equipped room; and a good location. Literally no complaints!

This place is not suited for people who cannot climb stairs. No check-in desk, only check-in through telephone. Place not completely hygienic. Not all lamps worked well.

Lovely guesthouse. We booked both rooms. Each room is on a different level. We were warned about the narrow staircase and that we would need to carry our bags upstairs. Lovely view and welll positioned.

Excellent location right in the centre, detailed information for arrival and parking, tastefully decorated rooms.

An absolutely wonderful stay. Right in the heart of the cathedral area with access to everywhere we wanted to visit. Beautifully clean room with wonderful atmosphere. Would highly recommend it and hope to come back again one day.

We chose the B&B because of our transit by train. The room is very spacious and comfortably furnished. The stairs leading up to it may be a bit difficult. Like climbing the stairs in a tower. Winding and narrow. We had to leave early the next morning. For the regular breakfast at 7:40. Fortunately, upon request, breakfast had already been prepared for us in the afternoon. Thanks for that.

Clean, large, very comfortable room. Close to everything. The staff is wonderful. Some suggestions: Park your car first because there isn’t an easy place to stop and drop off luggage. I kept my car overnight in a public parking lot a few blocks away and rested easy. Take the room on the 3rd floor, instead of 4th, if available, to save on steps. The steps are steep and narrow. Don’t panic. The handrails are very strong.
