We are just home from a week staying here in Narbonne. The room was spacious. Room service was good every day. Bed was comfortable and big but pillows were small and flat. Floors needed a deep clean and there is a musty smell in room but it is an old french building which is part of the charm. We were on top floor which is 48 steps of spiral stairs which wasn't ideal for a week. I should have asked about this prior to booking , my own fault. Also the top floor room had smaller windows. I'd imagine the middle floor bedrooms are brighter as they have taller windows and I think ceilings. Plenty of food for breakfast given in fridge and fresh bread in morning. Air con worked well. Nice shower and plenty of body wash/shampoo and hand soap. Coffee pod machine with pods topped up daily and good selection of teas. Location is nice, right next to cathedral with good view. Monoprix just around corner in the square. Near lots of shops and restaurants. Parking is hard to get outside on street next to accomodation and it is paid parking. Because we were there for a week we mainly parked on Quai Victor Hugo which is free and about a 10-15 minute walk away. It's along the canal and safe to park. Narbonne is a nice slow pace city. We based ourselves here for the week to see the area. I think a weekend would have been long enough. There are quite a few homeless people here. They don't cause trouble but we got approached a few times in the evening near the square when it was dark by homeless asking for money. Overall though it seems safe here with good police presence day and night.

We chose the B&B because of our transit by train. The room is very spacious and comfortably furnished. The stairs leading up to it may be a bit difficult. Like climbing the stairs in a tower. Winding and narrow. We had to leave early the next morning. For the regular breakfast at 7:40. Fortunately, upon request, breakfast had already been prepared for us in the afternoon. Thanks for that.

Clean, large, very comfortable room. Close to everything. The staff is wonderful. Some suggestions: Park your car first because there isn’t an easy place to stop and drop off luggage. I kept my car overnight in a public parking lot a few blocks away and rested easy. Take the room on the 3rd floor, instead of 4th, if available, to save on steps. The steps are steep and narrow. Don’t panic. The handrails are very strong.

Great location right in front of the Cathedral. Place decorated with veery good taste and style but at the same time very functional and confortable. We loved the fact that the breakfast was served in the room which had a decent size dining table to enjoy the breakfast. All exceptionally clean and well maintained.

This is a charming B&B in the centre of Narbonne. The welcome was very considerate and kindly. We needed to arrive early so Cecile arranged it all so that we could get in and leave our luggage which was very helpful. The stairs are steep, so take care if you have heavy bags, but the room is modern, comfortable and very nicely furnished. The view from the window is lovely. Breakfast is served in the room and is very good. We thoroughly recommend this place and would be very pleased to return. Narbonne is a delight so we probably will.

Excellent location, spacious, original and well maintained rooms, great breakfast. Noisy street and cranky wifi.

Nice little hotel. Unique rooms, fresh croissant in the morning.
