Had a great one night stay here in the Jungle room! Lovely decor, comfortable bed and helpful communication from the host. We would have appreciated somewhere more secure to store our bags prior to check in, but it didn’t impact our short visit. The area is nice with shops, cafés and restaurants - we had a lovely evening meal at Le Bistro Porte de Hal (10 min walk) and breakfast at Taylor’s cafe (5 min walk). Would definitely stay again and will recommend to others!

55 stairs with a case to reach our room was not a great start . I'd been convinced to stay here by the many positive TA reports . Aspects that led me to downgrade my rating may not apply to all : I'm not keen on codes for Guest House entrance and obtaining the room key ,we did not meet and staff or guests at any point during our stay , they no longer offer breakfast , the room bathroom was open to the bedroom with no door , I could not find a kettle or coffee machine in the room. Additionally we were messaged to say we hadn't paid in advance when had , although later this was corrected. Sorry but I would not stay again or recommend

This is a unique and stylish place to stay. Lovely beds, pillows and duvets, for a good night's sleep., and spotlessly clean. The breakfast and coffee (in particular) were excellent and our host, Sebastian communicated with us well beforehand, so we could get access. He also allowed us to leave our bags, to pick up later, on our date of departure. Would highly recommend.

We had a fabulous time in Belgium at La Maison Haute. Big, clean room. Delicious continental breakfast. Sebastien was a wonderful and attentive host, with excellent communication. Great location near main city sites and in a street with interesting shops and restaurants.

This place is amazing! The room was very clean and a nice size. Its a lovely B&B. We were provided clean towels each day. The free breakfast each morning was delicious and fresh. The location is great and only about a 12 minute walk to Grand Place. Sébastien, the host, was very helpful and communicated well when we had questions. And the lady that served our breakfast each morning was wonderful. We would definitely stay again.

A very cool guest house in a fantastic vibrant location. The decor is exceptional and the whole place was spotless. The host, Sébastien couldn’t do enough for us. Absolutely wonderful! The location is great as it’s a short walk right into the heart of the city but there are numerous bars, restaurants, shops and markets nearby without being too touristy.

I was looking for a hotel located in the Marolles area of Brussels, and this is the best (and only!) one, right on Rue Haute in the heart of the action. ||It's a lovely boutique design hotel with lots of thoughtful touches (coffee room, lots of storage space, earplugs - very useful as it's a lively area). We stayed in a room with double French windows that opened onto Rue Haute and views to the Hotel de la Monnaie - an ideal people-watching spot. ||There's no full time reception, so this is a perfect hotel for a city break and you can dip in and out at your leisure. ||Loved staying in a place that felt very much like a traditional Brussels home.

Sebastien and his team were very helpful in every regard. Our room was spacious, clean and comfy with a lovely sitting room that has tea & coffee making facilities adjacent. An excellent breakfast set us up for the day. Location halfway between Brussels Midi station and the Grand Place was great with good restaurants nearby.
