La Maison in Midtown

La Maison is absolutely delightful! It was welcoming from the first moment we stepped in the door. The room was great, every detail taken care of. And breakfast, what a surprise! Chef Joseph made us feel at home and served beautiful dishes. We highly recommend La Maison!

My husband and I stayed here for his birthday and the stay and staff were wonderful. The place was clean, comfortable, quiet, nice, and breakfast was amazing!!!! Great location midway between the theater district and the Houston fine arts museum. An easy walk to Brennan's, which has a theater shuttle bus. Maison staff are cordial; there's a nice happy hour in the late afternoon. Free parking in a lot on the Maison property. The rooms are generous in size, with high ceilings and a veranda.

My wife and I had an excellent experience staying at La Maison in Houston's Midtown. We were in the area for a wedding and wanted to stay close by. La Maison fit that bill perfectly. Our room 203B was very comfortable, beautifully decorated, the owners and staff very friendly and professional, the breakfast very good. All-in-all a superb experience that we hope to repeat in the future. Highly recommended!

Well run professional bed and breakfast in a great location near the museum district. Convenient on site parking. Rooms with balcony deck seating. Very good breakfast. More like a boutique hotel.

If you want a bed and breakfast experience instead of a hotel, La Maison will work. People were chatting at breakfast. The building is older, but they keep it clean, and the staff are courteous.

We had a great stay and look forward to returning. The owners are fantastic and very detail oriented. Breakfast was wonderful and it felt so much like home.

I booked a weekend stay here for a wedding and it was absolutely one of the best stays I've ever experienced. This was my first bed and breakfast experience and lets just say my expectations are very high for any other bed and breakfast I book. The decor was amazing and it really felt like a getaway in the city. The hospitality was unmatched and the hosts really made us feel like we were family that came into town to visit. Staying here you truly get the bed and breakfast experience with fancy hotel accommodations. The food was definitely top tier. The hosts and chef made sure to accommodate any food allergies and didn't lack on taste or presentation. I'm typically not a morning or breakfast person, but I was definitely downstairs every morning at 9am to enjoy that breakfast experience. If you're looking for a spot that you can really relax with a vacation feel, be close to all Houston has to offer while feeling safe, and still feel like you're at home this is the spot for you. I promise you won't regret this stay!!
