La Mascotte Montmartre

A beautiful restaurant in Montmartre centered around fish and seafood. It’s a bit pricey but you can really tell the quality of the food is very good. Some of the dishes we ordered here blew our mind like the scallop carpaccio and the fried squid, although sweetbreads were underwhelming and so was one of the fish dishes. If I were to return I would definitely focus on the fresh seafood.

We came for dinner on Christmas Day. We were seated without a reservation. The food was delicious and the wine pairings that the waiter recommended were perfect. Service was wonderful. Although this restaurant is on the pricier side, I would recommend trying it if you can.

Enjoyed a beautiful dinner here tonight as a last minute decision. We didnt have a reservation but were kindly seen to a table promptly. Our waiter Xavier was pleasant and lovely, he looked after us all night, ensuring we enjoyed our meal. He kindly spoke to us in English. We started with oysters and the tuna tartare. The tuna was a stand out dish, that was accompanied by a lovely sauce (possibly lime). Our mains consisted of mussels and mum had the traditional fish and chips. The mussels I ordered was a large enough pot to feed a couple of people. The creamy white sauce was absolutely divine, I could have drunk it straight from the pot. Mum enjoyed her fish and chips. We shared a glass of Beaujolais each with our meals which perfectly complemented the dishes. The restaurant was pretty full up of people munching away at their scrumptious meals. It had a nice buzz. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal tonight, thank you for looking after us Xavier!

I had a wonderful dinner at La Mascotte. Good food and wine, and enjoyable setting/atmosphere. Especially noted was the professional service. My waiter (I wish I had gotten his name) was pleasant, attentive - and helpful in suggesting menu options that were excellent. I highly recommend La Mascotte!

It’s popular, it comes recommended and it’s pricey but it delivers. The food is cooked excellently and you leave very happy. The cooked whole fish was a particular highlight as well as the cooked vegetables. Simple, classic and excellently executed.

We found this place after hunting for a new go-to seafood place and it did NOT disappoint! The service was lovely and the food even better! Our table ordered so so many plates of oysters and even the day after- everyone wants to go back to eat more oysters 😂 Also the lemon sole (which is what I ordered was cooked to perfection 🥰❤️

It's a bit pricey but worth it. Nice atmosphere. Nice service. I will visit again.

La Mascotte, located in the heart of Montmarte is for seafood lovers. I was impressed by the quality of their seafood offerings but definitely different from what I am use to in the US for some items. The scallop dish I ordered was cooked to perfection, with the scallops being tender and flavorful. The delicate balance of flavors in the dish was a testament to the skill of the chef. It was evident that great care was taken in selecting and preparing the seafood. I would recommend La Mascotte to seafood lovers. The quality of the seafood, the delicious flavors leave you satisfied
