La Meridiana Relais & Chateaux

La Meridiana is a gorgeous property in Italy! My husband and I would most certainly stay here again. As a matter of fact, we hated to leave! |The service here is top notch. The people who work here are the kindest, most accommodating staff you would ever want to meet. The owner of the property becomes your friend, and even invited us to a cocktail reception in the lounge for another group, all the while making us feel right at home. |Garglenda is a quiet respite with a lovely golf course. However, if you want more of an active stay, the staff has plenty of suggestions for nearby places to visit along the Italian Riviera. |Relais and Chateaux should be very proud to have this property as one of their members. We have stayed at many, and this one is especially wonderful.

I have stayed at Relais & Châteaux hotels for a long time. They are always a sign of quality. At La Meridiana, I particularly liked its unique location between the Italian coast of Liguria and the French Riviera. When traveling by car, you can visit many picturesque places and beaches. The value for money in terms of accommodations and services is noteworthy. The price of a vacation at such an establishment is reasonable, especially considering that prices for quality vacations in this region, whether in Italy or France, are often exorbitant. This hotel really deserves high praise. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. Excellent breakfast. The large, well-maintained grounds are beautiful. There is lots of greenery and flowers. I will definitely be back in the near future. I recommend it to everyone!

What a haven 🤩 I would like to return soon again and enjoy this beautiful place and its kind and helpful staff. Always greeting you with a smile.||We enjoyed our dinners in the nicely decorated dining room and had the privilige of getting great advice for the wine selection from Mr Segre.||A stop at the heated pool after a round of golf at the course which is just next door was so relaxing. ||Plenty of nice villages around and the sea is only a short journey away.||Thank you again to everyone at La Meridiana for making our holidays so perfect!

This was our second stay here, and we came back knowing exactly why — it’s pure comfort, calm, and warm hospitality. From the moment you arrive, you feel genuinely looked after. The staff, both at the hotel and in the restaurant, are not only professional but truly kind. It makes all the difference. The place has everything you need — no stress, no worries. Just show up, settle in, and enjoy your time. Even our little dog felt completely at home, which says a lot. And let’s not forget how beautiful everything is — both inside and around the hotel. Super lovely stay! We loved the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, especially Giuila! The rooms are nicely decorated, in an authentic way. On top, we enjoyed very much the pool and the surrounding gardens.

We stayed at the Meridiana with our small dog. The arrival to the hotel gave us already trust, that our stay is going to be great, the garden with all the flowers, the pool area, the lobby, everything is perfect. The personal 10/10. Dogs are allowed almost everywhere, which makes our stay even more perfect. We had to stay in the junior suite, because dogs are only allowed in rooms which are on the garden level. This was ok with us, but the location of the room was not perfect, very dark, the floor was really cold (the air pump helped a bit) no sun on the terrace. If you pay almost 400 euros per night you expect everything to be perfect. |The restaurant food was delicious, gluten free no problem, service superb, of course prices also very high. |We had a really nice stay and will come again, but not in the same room.

A short trip from Monaco or Genoa is this wonderful homely hotel in Garlenda where we had the pleasure of spending 3 days , for a work breakaway session . Everything paper wise is adorned with pretty water colour pictures of different aspects of this lovely hotel. |The staff are delightful and are super helpful which is a reflection of the charming hardworking owner who is very much in thick of things .|The work environment was perfect and in the evening the delegates were treated to a wine tasting and Olive oil tasting before dinner- both of which were very interesting with amazing wine and very interesting oil. |The meals need a separate mention as they were really delicious Lingurian meals of super fresh ingredients with fish , seafood , pasta, and more -always with tasty desserts and great wine . The staff really went out of their way to make sure we were all happy and even if it put the kitchen out the request was fulfilled. |There is an 18 hole golf course within a five minute walk from the hotel , passing a quaint very old little church on the way where you can play or go for a lovely walk. And there is a lovely pool and gym at the hotel . |I believe there are some other very interring interesting things to see around the area but unfortunately we didn’t have the time to investigate so hopefully we can return to this little gem of a hotel which even caters for guests with dogs and or small children. | Thank you Edmundo to you and your fabulous staff for the three very restful days we had in La Meridiana even though we were there for work

One day at this property made me feel more relaxed than a week in another hotel. Truly special.

I've had a terrible experience while staying in the La Meridiana Hotel in Garlenda Italy. There was no water the whole time I stayed. The manager kept saying they are fixing it but never did. The OWNER was VERY RUDE and kept saying that he will throw me out of his property as he had already taken my payment for the room and does not care about my issue with the lack of water in the room and if I don't like it I can just leave his hotel.
