La MeSenda rooms & Apartments

We stayed 4 nights at this lovely agriturismo in the countryside. Don't worry about not having a sea view. Lovely view instead of the rocky, hilly scenery with walking trails and an historic temple on the property. Judith and Mario are the most welcoming and helpful hosts we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Their local knowledge guides you to the best restaurants, superb beaches and interesting spots (even if you have an odd day of rain as we did). The homemade goodies (think jams, omelette, yogurt, cakes...) dominating the breakfast buffet were superb and our girls (6&7) loved wandering around the pretty garden and stroking the dog. Rooms are very clean, comfortable and full of character. Highly recommended as long as you have a car.

The georgeous, quiete and beautiful place is a perfectly located, if you want to explore the costa smeralda. ||We had 5 fantastic days in Judith's and Mario's BnB and we couldn't have felt more at home. ||Both are so welcoming, helpful and friendly hosts. They offered us a endless numbre of tipps for dinner, places to visit and how to get there. The breakfast was amazing, all homemade, lots of fantastic cakes - heavenly good!!! ||Our friendly decorated room was small but very clean with good airconditioning a little fridge.||The garden is fantastic to chill in the evening and Arzachena and lovely San Pantaleo are not far away by car. ||If we return to sardinia again one time - we would be glad to stay here again. ||Thanks again to Judith and Mario for making our holiday special, relaxing and remarkable.

What should we say? We had 11 wonderful days at La Mesenda. We had a room together with our 4yrs old son in a separate bed. The room was lovely decorated, extremely clean with a good working air condition. Same with the bath room, which was large and very clean.||The breakfast is wonderful. Beside the italian sweets we always found a very good selection of cheese, salami, eggs, cereals etc. Nothing was missing. ||The whole area is very Family friendly. Nothing which is dangerous and we never worried when our son was out alone.||At the whole B&B you can feel how carefully the owners Judith and Mario look after their guests and the property. It is a great pleasure to see how they love what they do.||In case there is anything which needs to be arranged or any tips for sightseeing, there is plenty of recommendations and insider tips available from Judith.||All in all it is an extremely nice B&B very close to the best spots at the Costa Smeralda! Go and book!!!!

The most amazing place in Sardinia, has become my home there , and owners - Mario and Judith- friends. Fantastic nature around, quiet and beautiful. The gardens around are beautiful. Special mentioning about the breakfast, all biological and prepared with love and care. If you appreciate nature , simplicity, exclusivity and feeling like home - that's the right place for you

We stayed with mario and Judith first time this summer as per friends recommendation.||Generally we are not b&b people - more apartment rental but we absolutely loved it.||In all truth I don't know where to start or end. Mario and Judith are very nice humble hosts. They have relaxed, helpful and generous attitude towards their guests.||Anything we asked they went an extra mile. The place itself is extremely clean, traditional and organic. Beautiful.||Mario basically makes the best home made yogurt every morning and is there to look after the guests during breakfasts while Judith is in her kitchen making the most delicious simple cakes every morning. She baked bread, made delicious fruit salads sourced from local farmers, she also baked fresh biscuits , followed by the home made jams and some kind of cheese a have never tasted in my life. They told me the name but I forgot- it felt like half ricotta and mozzarella with a walnut in the middle. Of the 5 accommodations we had in Sardinia, this one was the best by far. The hiatus are very plugged in with their guests and full of information and ready to help with everything. The breakfasts are perfect with very nice homemade cakes. The place has a warm atmosphere with lots of beautiful details. ||We were a family of 4 (2 small kids of 2 and 4 years old), and we stayed at their spacious family house with a large separate bedroom for the kids, a private veranda with a stunning view and on a hill 50 meters from the rest of the rooms (quiet for the other guests).||We highly recommend this place.

We arrived quite late in the afternoon, but luckily Judith had a room for us. The room was very nice and well dressed, as is the rest of the accomodation. We received lots of suggestions and advice about restaurants and activities. There was plenty of choice during breakfast and the environment is beautiful. Recommended.

We only stayed for a few days but I don't think I've ever felt so at home where ever I've travelled. ||Judith is relaxed yet interested and interesting. We spent much of our time there chatting, swapping stories and I really felt like I'd made a friend. One day she took us up to Capodorso to see the most beautiful sun set across from Garibaldi's house. ||Judith and Mario are great hosts and it's really clear how much they care and the guest house, the farm and the experience you have while staying with them.||The Nuraghi minutes away from La Mesenda are really impressive particularly if you go on a guided tour.||I loved our stay and I'm definitely going again. in short I can't recommend staying there highly enough.
