My friend and I loved visiting La Moncheria! We were in Santa Catalina for 5 days and made a point to go here everyday for our dessert post dinner! The owner switches out at least one flavor a day and the gelato tastes spot on to its flavor! My personal favorites were his Choco Blanco, Kiwi, and Passionfruit :') I highly recommend coming here if you're looking for a cold, sweet treat!

I had the sandwich ice with pistachio. Sadly, it tasted old and the ice had no flavor . The cookie was soft.

Be sure to include a (daily) visit here during your trip to Santa Catalina. Hours were 3-6pm, Mon- Thur when we visited in February. Legitimate Italian style gelato with natural fruit (dairy free) options. Coconut and pineapple were our favorites!

This gelato is really amazing and it is authentic Italian style. You have to try the pistachio flavour, it's terrific!
