La Mondaine

I booked their deluxe room. The room i got was noisy from a constant ventilation sound coming from outside. The shower has no barrier so while showering you flood the entire bathroom. Also the matress of the first room i stayed was not comfortable. There was no real view outside since the window was facing largely a wall. All those point together made me request a room change at 03 o'clock in the afternoon. I was told service staff will leave soon and i should pay for another room because they cannot clean the old room anymore of i want to change same day. After some talk i was told when i give the cleaning ladies 30 € in cash they would redo me old room and I could move in a new much brighter room I preferred. I find this a ridiculous way to handle such situations. In the end I payed the cash just to get a room that solves the issues I reported. I explained the situation afterwards to the owner of the hotel again other than some warm words and a sorry no reaction. Bad customer service 👎

It feels like you stepped into Paris 100 years ago. The design is fantastic, the Team is friendly. Great adventure!

The best part of this hotel is the neighborhood. Once inside, it’s all downhill.|The lobby needs to be cleaned and have the carpet stretched. So guests don’t trip. It’s supposed to be an old bordello, so they play it up but it just looks cheap. Some of the seating in the small reception is very uncomfortable and don’t even try to order a latte! They served coffee w cold milk, a la USA, except we call it coffee n cream and not paying 8 E.|The Elevator is very quaint, tiny but it works.|We had a room w a ceiling mirror, but no storage, we lived out of the suitcase, that we had to close up, otherwise w couldn’t walk to the bed. |The bathroom was very modern but again no shelves and had to maneuver to the toilet.|The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Eclectic uniquely themed hotel that captures post war style and ambiance. Small rooms but full of character and decor that will stir the imagination. Friendly hotel staff. Fantastic location for a weekend getaway. I will return to this hotel again.

Lovely little hotel that you could easily miss if you don’t know it’s there. Perfect Parisian style - rooms were small but stunning all decorated differently but in a maximalist style that I really liked. The beds very comfy, no tv in the room but you’re in Paris you don’t need a tv. There is no mini bar which is maybe the only thing missing but the hotel has a 24hr bar so can use this service if you need jt. Location was great was walkable to a lot of places and close to metro and bus stops too. Lots of lovely restaurants and coffee shops near by too. 10/10

Wonderful experience!! Lots of character. Aesthetic was so eclectic and vintage. Room and bathroom was very clean as well. We received excellent service and felt very welcomed! Location was great with quick access to anywhere in Paris we wanted to go. Would totally recommend for couples!!

Very special and unique hotel. Very nice staff. The moment you enter the building you feel like you're in a different world. We spent 2 nights. The first morning, we had breakfast delivered to our room, which was nice because there was no need for us to rush and get ready to get out. Typical French breakfast, some coffee, croissants, bread, butter and jam. The moulin rouge is at a 5 minute walk, with metro station Blanche connecting you to the rest of Paris. We enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to discovering more rooms.

Outstanding Hotel for the more discerning clientele.||Masha and Dinara on reception are superbly professional. ||Hotels like this are sadly not common. This hotel is my go-to for Paris...||I have stayed here before. I will stay here again.||Highly recommended!
