In this context the 17th-century mint building that houses La Monnaie Art & Spa Hotel is rather on the new side, but its exteriors still contrast vividly with its ultra-modern interiors, done up in vibrant colors and contemporary design furniture. The art collection, as promised by the name, is an impressive one, and the spa, though smallish, is more than up to the task. Beautiful old-fashioned opera house, not so big, but with nice details. We had backseats in one of the lodges, with still good view of the stage but not very comfortable. Service of staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. The opera itself (Norma by Bellini) was sensational. Unusual setting, but fantastic voices and choir. Good value for money, on par with the other big European opera houses!

A wonderful experience during Museum Night Fever! The backstage tour through the opera house was exciting and informative. The performances at the end perfectly rounded off the evening. Highly recommended!

The opera Palace in Brussels, but not the only one. Looking classic and old in style but look carefully the details 😉 good acoustics and overpriced tickets for a season that needs to catch up if wants to be at top level in Europe.

Went here last year several times. Came back with Friends this year. Lovely waiter first evening on the 7th. Went back on the 8th waiter was rude and moody! And on the 9th so rude and his colleague rolled her eyes at him as to say well done for saying we couldn’t have drinks inside! We would have happily sat outside but after his attitude we won’t be returning lost a evening worth of alcohol tonite
