"Finally, Montreal Clothing Souvenirs That Don't Suck Welcome to the teeny-tiny atelier of the Montreal -based brand, famous for their iconic crew-neck sweatshirts with a bow. Talk about a souvenir shirt that is neither cheesy (looking at you, moose t-shirts found everywhere in Old-Montreal) nor cheap-looking. Most female Montrealers I know pretty much live in this sweatshirt come wintertime. A high-quality staple that will certainly make for a great conversation starter back home."

I've shopped at LMA both in store and online and my experience with both has been absolutely fabulous. The products on offer are very chic and unique, which I love. My personal favourite is the Je Parle Feministe t-shirt, which is made of the softest cotton I've ever worn and gets me compliments every time I wear it. I recently bought a few things online during a sale they were having; the promo code wasn't working but they went above and beyond to make sure I could take advantage of the promo, which I greatly appreciated. I will definitely continue to shop here, in person when I get the chance as well as online. I'm from Ontario and it's well worth traveling for. Fantastic!

Yelp
La Montrealaise Atelier, otherwise known as LMA, is a Canadian/Quebec label that offers tops, sweatshirts, bags, as well as other seasonal pieces. This flagship store is limited in its selection when I was there, but the nice thing is is that if you're in Montreal, you can purchase items directly from their website and have it directly shipped to this store. That way, you do not need to worry about paying for shipping! The female employee in there was super nice and informative, and they also have extra sizes in the back. I really liked their hoodies, and the material is very lightweight and soft. +LMA pieces +pick-up from store to save on shipping +friendly staff

Yelp
Cute place! Cute cat :), chatty and welcoming staff. You can get their signature tees here, or can browse their curated vintage and new pieces. Generally, most items are tops/dresses that are business casual with a bit of a minimalist/European flair. Definitely on the pricier end when compared with the near by frank and oak or vintage annex, but a shop that caters to a higher end clientele. If you're on a budget, keep your eye out for the occasional sale. Bought a few weeks back a vintage levis jean button up, and am really happy with it ($40). Only negative is that their vintage is cash only. Had to run to an ATM, but they were nice enough to hold my items :) I have both a sweat shirt and t shirt that is part of their printed tee collection (priced $40-$75). I've had them for a few years now and they have held up really well!
