Number one! The athmosphere, many kinds of flovurs (you can taste and select), affordable prices. Small size bottles less than 100ml for the canlbinet luggage in the plane ( max 10 bottles are allowed in French airport for the cabinet luggage).

In Dijon, you need to know everything about the mustard. This place shows you the fabrication and allows you to taste and buy all kind of Mustard. It’s decent prices and the staff is very kind,

Amazing place to go for the chance to view so many different mustards - all authentic Dijon, made from only local mustard seeds and wine vinegar made with the local wine. Just entering the shop and being surrounded by shelves of mustard jars was an experience in itself. Many available to sample (I think different ones on different days) so many new flavours to discover! Staff are very helpful and friendly and the prices extremely reasonable. Great for finding a special little gift to take home. Beware! Mustard is not allowed in the Musee des Beaux Arts (a couple of minutes walk away) so although the Musee will keep it for you, probably best to buy your mustard after visiting the museum

A store that sells local Dijon mustard that let's you sample the flavours before buying the ones you like. There are 26 flavours to choose from with some unique ones such as yuzu, cacao, cafe, pinot noir and honey with balsamic vinegar.

Google
The GO TO place to learn about and buy unique and tasty mustard. They offer so many different kinds and flavors it’s hard to choose! Reasonably priced and the mustard comes in different sizes. Plus there is a free tasting bar. Cute and charming location (off the beaten path but still central) near most important sights in Dijon. Most definitely worth a trip to check it out!

Best shop to buy mastered sauce in dijon, every one recommended. Price are very reasonable and wide variety of flavours.

The sad story is, that exactly the same products can be found in the next super market for less money. The classical mustard medium size in the fallot shop was 8.50€ and the same size / taste was 6.50€ in the normal super market. Normally, it should be the other way around. 2 stars instead of 1, because they had more variety in the fallot shop and gifts.

Yelp
This is a great stop if you're in the region! Interesting in depth tour of the production and factory, with samples at the end. When they are producing mustard, you may shed a few tears and clear your sinuses because the mustard seed burns! We also bought several mustards at the end of the tour as they have flavors you can't find anywhere else.

Yelp
Our favorite mustard comes from Edmund Fallot.......when the Mr & I are in Paris, we make a point to stop at Galleries Lafayette to grab this brand of mustard. We did not make the connection that this was a Dijon-region manufacturer until we were looking up mustard tours & this came up. No brainer! Learned about the traditional Dijon recipe and the other mustards calling themselves Dijon but there were no governing laws around this so unless you know the "real" difference & taste the real thing.......just saying Edmund Fallot uses only mustard seeds from Baune and is solely and completely made in the Dijon region The mustard is all made on that site using a huge stone to grind the seeds & their processing room was available for us to look through the windows.....and let me tell you, those mustard fumes were super strong! Bring a tissue for the inevitable tears......but it was well worth it for the deliciousness you were about to enjoy Adding such treats like walnut, truffle, honey & a whole lot of others, you cannot go wrong with a jar or 23 like we picked up

Yelp
Excellent tour of Dijon mustard!!! I felt I learned so much during the tour here. There are 2 options of tours, which you can either buy ahead of time online or in person: 1) Dijon history tour 2) Dijon mustard tasting room tour. I wanted to see how Dijon mustard was made, so I opted for the tasting room tour, and bought tickets ahead of time, which was very helpful since we ran behind on schedule. There were 2 parts of the tour: first part with the tour guide, who divided the group in 2, and spoke in English and French. She educates you on the mustard seed plants, the differences between that and rapeseed since they look similar, and the basic process on how to make Dijon mustard. Then you're allowed to go tour the dijon mustard operation tour at your own pace (behind windows) but it's pretty awesome. You can get pretty close, and although nothing may be operating when you're there, they have a video playing at all times so you can see what they do around the clock! I was able to see the women labeling the mustard jars and sealing them in the boxes. The scent of the mustard is VERY strong throughout the tour, so get ready for it! It stings your eyes a little bit. There are no pics allowed unfortunately....huge bummer. However there is also a cute mustard truck you can take a picture with outside! Great photo opp! You receive a gift at the end of the tour - a dijon mustard sampler of 5 different mustards, which I think was well worth the €12 tour! The store is amazing too - you can sample all of their Dijon mustard flavors (yuzu, pimento, truffle, curry, saffron, and more) and buy at your heart's desire. They also have these make-your-own gift boxes (see pic) that are helpful for carrying it home, if you went crazy like we did. Terrific tour that should not be missed in Beaune. Go if you are in the area!

Yelp
You haven't really tasted mustard until you come to Fallot!!! Super delicious mustard with so many different variations. Curry or cassis or walnut or gingerbread or basil....the list goes on and on. You can buy a small sample jar for only 1€. Love it here.

Yelp
A little bit of a tourist trap if you are following the recommended Owl trail during the sight seeing tour of all the special architectures and suggested spaces, yet we were satisfied with our purchases of these famous mustards and various flavours we were able to try! At about 3,00€ for 7.4 oz jars, be ready to taste test some delicious real dijon mustards that will clean your sinuses free! We tasted basil, red peppers, rosemary, and other herb flavoured mustards that paired quite nicely and lingered well on my palette, an absolute splendid treat! I purchased basil, walnut, and red peppers to take home, and a regular dijon mustard that complimented well for German bratwursts. If you would like to try a variety, you can purchase mini jars of mustard from a euro, and can even create a bundle to give as a gift! Upon returning home, I have happily been using Edmond Fallot Dijon mustard on my meals and would be happy to take more home on our next visiting vacation x

Yelp
We're happy that our 500th Yelp review lands on this adorable mustard factory in Beaune. It's such a quaint space and you learn a lot about the history of Dijon mustard (which, FYI, is called that because of a recipe originally from Dijon). We did a tour that was in both French and English, and our tour guide did a wonderful job of transitioning from one language to another. You learn about the history of the factory, mustard seed plants, the mustard making process, etc. You actually get to make some mustard and there's a small exhibit upstairs that houses old equipment. Afterwards, you taste mustard! We had to change our day of the tour because of scheduling logistics, so we don't know if that's why we didn't get to see the factory itself (the tour was originally labeled as "Sensations"), and were a bit disappointed by that. Still, we had a fun time here and the gift shop is a wonderful place to get small presents to bring back home. We definitely recommend coming here if you're in Burgundy.
