La Nonna Carmela

We had amazing time at La Nonna Carmela. Everything was perfect. The staff was extremely polite and professional. You get amazing value for your money. Now, if you are gluten free this will be your paradise. You will never know the difference. Actually, this place had better pasta and pizza than lots of other non gf restaurants. We recommend this restaurant, no matter if you are gluten free or not. Definitely will come back next time we are in Granada.

Reserved online after reading reviews and did not disappoint. 100%gluten free restaurant in the heart of the city of Granada. Our waitress Lucia was attentive and helpful. The dishes were well presented and tasty from starters to dessert. The 1st time my 8 year has actually eaten and enjoyed a pasta dish in an Italian restaurant which hasn't been prepared or cooked by his dad (who is Italian!)

The service is great and the food amazing. We had pizza for the kids and one for us and both were really good. Kids ate them no questions asked so they were either hungry or enjoyed it, or most probably - both. The croquetas were also amazing and the salad as well. The waitress was great and very helpful. Think we needed some recharge and we have chosen wisely and very good. Would go there again.

La Nonna Carmela! What can I say? This is the second restaurant I’ve visited in Granada with the same owner and the food is equally as good as the 1st time. Absolutely spectacular meals with superb quality and quality meals suitable for folks with dietary restrictions. Super!!!

The pizza and pasta are must-tries. There can be a slight wait during busy hours, but it’s worth it. Overall, a fantastic dining experience.

Delicious Food, Inconsistent Service During our recent trip to Granada, we visited this restaurant twice, and the food was absolutely amazing on both occasions. On our first visit, the service matched the quality of the food—the staff were attentive and the experience was excellent. Unfortunately, our second visit was let down by inattentive service. The staff seemed more focused on chatting with each other than attending to the tables, which was disappointing. Despite this, we wouldn't hesitate to return, as the food is worth it. We hope the restaurant will consider providing staff with training to improve attentiveness and minimise distractions.

Omg my friends. I almost couldn't believe it when I said 100 percent GLUTEN FREE. we had the best experience ever, the location was amazing, the staff were so nice and friendly we had the pleasure to be served by Yannick and Fernando gracias 🤗. We ordered two different pizzas and a salad that had GLUTEN FREE croutons since I was diagnosed with celiac and I hadn't had that for a long time. If I can give them 1000/10 I would highly recommend . Oh and if you have a dairy allergy let them know

For gluten-free food, the pizza base and the actual pasta tasted good (my pizza was just a bit crispier and not as light but no massive complaints there). The 3* review though is for flavour. The flavour is missing unfortunately, my boyfriend said his Bolognese just tasted like mince and tomato put together and for my pizza, I was expecting buffalo mozzarella but instead I think it was burrata on it which unfortunately was very plain. The staff were really nice though and it was a related atmosphere, they just need to work on their flavours.
