Food was delicious and creative. All the flavors worked well together. The char-roasted cabbage was amazing. Great friendly, and welcoming service. Staff was very helpful with the menu and wine selection. I would definitely go back again, if I am back in Hossegor.

One of the hidden gems - or not so hidden as it is in the main square of Hossegor beach. This place should not be missed!! The owner is a delightful and kind person as is his staff, who knows their flavors/ both for wine as well as the delightful seasonal menu. We indulged in a variety of dishes which were equally appetizing, and we are excited to return to interesting and fresh combinations. A bientot!

A really fabulous meal here. The setting is beautiful on the beach, and the decor and vibe inside is really cool. I loved the listening bar feel and the commitment to interesting and unusual wines. Our plates were all knockout, with the endive, pear and blue cheese crumble a particular standout. Merci!

Food was cold and the chicken had the skin on and was fatty. Not happy! Went back to my room and had toast with Marmite. Go to ProHibistro instead!

Favorite experience, meal, and staff we met during our stay in Hossegor. I found La Nord on the Raisin app for serving natural wine, and am so happy I did. We don't speak any french, so the owner graciously picked our meal for us and it blew us both away. Every dish was delicious and unique and very fresh. The price was great too, we have been recommending La Nord!

The people were really attentive and kind. A waiter overheard me despair that the dish i wanted to try was not on the menu and asked the kitchen. The food… what to say. Everything was surprising and excellent. Dish after dish… we were truly mesmerized. Will definitely come back! Thanks! Ah yeah and the wine is nice :)

I can confidently say that our meal at La Nord was probably the best I’ve eaten in France. My fiancé and I visited this lovely restaurant to celebrate my birthday, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect choice. What initially drew us to the restaurant was its ethos—La Nord champions local and seasonal cuisine, and this philosophy shines through in every bite. The service was great, with our waiter helping us to navigate their incredible wine selection and recommend dishes. The wines alone are worth a visit, offering a diverse and thoughtfully curated range. As for the food, I could have happily eaten every dish on the menu. However, the standouts for me were the cervelle de canut, the aubergine dish, and their exceptional cheesecake au Bleu des Basque. Each was exquisitely prepared and beautifully presented. For anyone looking to enjoy an intimate meal out with divine food and wine, I would highly recommend La Nord.
