La Oleoteca de Sevilla. Catas de Aceite

We cannot say enough good things about La Oleoteca! The best part, by far, was Lucia who went out of her way to help us! Her passion and wealth of knowledge was extraordinary. Beyond that, she was kind, patient, and attentive. She went above and beyond to help us pick out just the right thing! Five stars barely feels adequate!

5 stars, because more is not possible. Once I arrived at the store, I was greeted most kindly by the charming Lucia. She tells me passionately about the products, lets me taste them and gives good and honest advice. I felt like she took her time. On my next visit to Seville I will definitely visit the store again.

What a great shop to buy regional and high quality olive oils. We received a friendly and warm welcome from Lucia. What a nice and beautiful personality. She gave us perfect advices and we were able to taste the different oils. We were really impressed by her knowledge and passion for oils. She takes her time and gives great impressions and information about the oils. As if that wasn't enough, she offered to send the oils that we bought to Germany by post. And what can I say, the shipping went smoothly and we are totally happy and satisfied. It's a shame that you can't give 10 stars because they deserve it.

We had so much fun learning about and tasting the best olive oils in the world! I'm glad I can order more directly when I run out!

What a wonderful shop. I was really keen to take some oil home for myself but the choice and taste is overwhelming. The lady in this shop was so patient with us and explained the options simply and in English before allowing us to try samples of some the lovely oils, to better appreciate the differences -even as between regional varieties. Thank you very much. I not only found my olive oil but feel I am just a little better informed too.

The owner Paz is an olive oil expert and very friendly. She encouraged us to taste the oils including a first harvest. The shop has small bottles which make good gifts.

Great place to try before you buy. We tasted many different kinds of oils. This is (in my opinion) the best way to buy olive oil. We wanted to bring home some good and local olive oil. You can find them anywhere and anytime in Sevilla. But we didn't get the chance to taste them anywhere else. We were glad we could try different kinds here. Great help. Great quality oils.
