La Onda - Restaurant et Tapas

A movie scenarium in one of the streets of Vence. Once arrived on the place, the first thing I saw was the waiter running everywhere. Actually, she was the owner but she was serving and working in the kitchen as well because a couple of people were missing. I ate delicious tapas with fresh ingredients coming from Spain (in fact the owner was Spanish) and what really surprised me was the quality of the service, despite the problems with missing personnel. Since I am Italian, the owner explained me everything about the dishes in a mix of Spanish, French and English. During the service she ran and jumped from the kitchen to the tables, she laughed when the light turned off in the kitchen and she worked with joy. Unforgettable experience.

Wow wow wow. I loved this place. The service is exceptional and the food also delicious. There are two venues - I went to the little one tucked away in the lanes. A wonderful escape from the heat during the day. The owner is just delightful and provided wonderful advice for the single diner to make sure I did not over order. My food was so good.

La Onda is one of my favourite restaurants. Anywhere! Amazing tapas. They are not the usual small ones. And the old Vence square is lovely for outside seating in the summer. But the interior is also fabulous, so it’s an all year delight. And the owners and staff are just a friendly joy. Especially the adorable waitress Alienor! Really excellent.. right up there with a top Spanish Tapas restaurant! Delicious food, wide selection and fantastic service (with a smile). Highly recommended!

Superb selection of Tapas, and very well prepared. As always slightly fat, but that is Tapas. Good selection of wines, and very nice and friendly staff.

A beautiful little place in the remote old city of Vance. Lovley service with exceptional knowledge about the food, and the food itself was absolutely delightful.

The best atmosphere and food combination in Vence. Very nice food and great service. Highly recommend!
