We were looking for a place just like this, and, the first time you are somewhere new it can be a bit daunting to find a good hotel. This seemed like it would be such a place, and it didn't disappoint. The room, pool, and staff were marvelous, and while my basic French sufficied for most of the island, most of the desk staff had better English than my French, which was nice. The rooms are very clean and well supplied, there was a nice mimi fridge with tiny freezer, and a Lavazza Blue style espresso machine. The restaurant is very nice, but a bit pricey and gormet, but fun to do a couple of times. There are plenty of nice restaurants in walking distance too. The pool is very nice!

The best experience ever! The hotel offers several different rooms: a twin room for two or a room for 4 are just as comfortable and pleasant. Extremely clean. I spent amazing time there! The inner garden is a tropical oasis of plants and birds, on the island of birds. The restaurant serves great European food and some lovely local dishes. They also did the best to accomplish our requirements as one of my colleagues has very special dietary requirements. Is a perfect stay for business as it is for families on vacation. All personnel is very pleasant! Just as good for a lonely traveler or a small group. Totally recommend!

This hotel is BEAUTIFUL. If you're looking for a place to stay in Point Du Bout, you've found it. Rooms were great, there's duty free store right on the compound and restaurants in walking distance (check out La Annexe). The pool area and bar were great, drinks were fantastic and the murals added the perfect tropical island aesthetic to the entire stay.

I enjoyed my stay here. My room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good and the staff were helpful. I had two dinners at the hotel's restaurant, which were both excellent. (I wrote a separate review for Restaurant Le Pitaya.) The hotel is across from the Creole Village, with its many shops and restaurants.||I enjoyed my hotel's pool. There is a lovely garden path to the pool. The pool was refreshing, spacious and not too crowded. There is a nice mural on the wall titled "The Return of the Pink Sunset" by Ruben Carrasco, 2023. In the lobby, they have a video of him painting the mural.||I did have one problem, though. As I was getting ready to go to sleep, I turned on the lamp next to my bed and walked to the entrance door to shut off all of the other lights in my room. There were three switches. The one on the left worked. The one on the right worked. But the one in the centre did not. No matter what I did, I could not turn the bedroom lights off. If I pulled out the key card from the slot, then all of the electricity in my room would shut off and I would have no lights whatsoever, nor any AC. I called the front desk. It was 11 p.m. and the night clerk came. He saw the problem, but since the technicians had gone home for the day, no one could come until the next day. He offered me another room, but I did not want to switch late at night. I opened the curtains and pulled out the key card. I had enough light to see where the bed was and it wasn't too warm without the AC. In the morning, the technician came but could not fix it. He would need to contact the power company. I was told to pack my things and was moved to a nearby room. The lights worked fine in the new room!

Stayed 2 nights but I wish it was longer. This hotel just has a beautifully relaxing vibe without being pretentious. The staff were fantastic and the rooms stunning. Both myself and my 5 year old Grandson loved it and if we ever visit the island again, would defo stay here!

The hotel is located in the best place in Martinique! It doesn’t have direct access to the beach nor a large pool but it is very close to the public beach! Also you may book a seat in beach club of Bakuoa hotel. There are a lot of little shops and stores around. The village of Cereole where the hotel is located at, has its own charm. You can have a nice dinner in a different restaurants each night. The baguette shop under the hotel has amazing sandwiches and pastries. There are little cafe, bars and shops around. It is very close to the Marina. You can go for a walk early in the morning or night and if is very safe. |Pros and cons:|Pros:|-Location is the best|-Staff are nice and helpful. Lorelei was very helpful and kind. Willy tried to arrange things for us. Lorraine (the manager) went beyond to accommodate me.|- the hotel’s rooms are clean and comfortable it has a fridge, small sink and coffee maker/ kettle.|I wish they were offering a bottle of water which is standard for many 4 stars |-the pool area is chic and the bar besides it is nice. I enjoyed swimming in the pool at night when it wasn’t crowded |-the breakfast was very good and they offered a lot of options but I wish they were offering omelette! |- the dinner was tasty, well designed and service was very good |- they had 3 entertainments during our stay: Saturday night live music at the restaurant, Friday night live music at the lobby and Monday flower arrangement and cocktail making with Rum!|It is not far from other tourist attractions: ||Cons: |- for Martinique I recommend to rent a car but parking at the hotel was not easy. Majority of time : no spots and overall very tight parking. Later on they informed me that they had a spare parking area and I could have parked there and I wish I knew it from the beginning |- there was no help at the door with luggage…|When I asked them they provided someone to help. |So basically you can come to the door. Drop your luggage. Get access to the parking and park and then come back and bring your luggage up especially if you’re traveling with family |- we visited and stayed during national holiday ( Easter time) and it was super busy but the hotel also gives day pass to non guests so that means you may find the hotel and especially the pool very very crowded.|- if you the room super hot, make sure the door to the balcony is closed tightly |- majority of the rooms are very simple and the pictures on the website with artistic work are limited to few suites. |- I wish they had more entertainments|Overall I highly recommend considering all the pros and cons |- ||- overall I highly recommend but consider it is a small hotel and it is not on beach side nor all inclusive!|-

I was in Martinique for 2 nights for work - and this hotel seemed perfect. The hotel is lovely. Gardens are beautiful, pool is very nice. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. I didn't dine at the hotel otherwise, though. I would stay here again without a doubt.

All staff is friendly, kind, and extremely helpful. Daily pass for the pool includes a meal and a cocktail. Good value for money.
