Such a genuine and authentic, not just restaurant, but experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant feels as if you had walked into a new country, the country of france. Once you arrive the waiter makes sure you are fully satisfied and goes in full detail of what you will be ordering, and the wait for the food is certainly worth it. You can watch the chefs create your meal from your table! Every single element of each and every dish has been developed with years and years of experience by the owner (i forgot his name), and he is such a cheerful and prideful guy! Such a special place where the art and culture of France is placed right in front of you.

Google
Great casual French dining experience. Wasn’t too busy or long of a wait on Friday. The server absolutely made my experience memorable—I love the puns and enthusiasm! The scallop and pate were great. Salmon was my highlight. It was perfectly crispy and not overcooked. Steak and frites were my least favorite. It definitely has that buttery taste in French cuisine, but the steak was leaning a bit more on a drier side even though we were served medium rare. Dessert was crème brûlée, which was pretty standard.

The food here is just incredible. The horse steak is so tender and juicy, and is not gamy at all. My girlfriend ordered the Bouillabaisse and it was equally delicious! We also had the crème brûlée and the lemon tart for dessert and they were so good, you can’t find them anywhere else. Highly suggest this place!

Google
Dishes are not worth their price. I'd expect quality and good seasoning for a $45 dish. Had the beef tartare as main, rhe fries tasted old and refried (dry and too salty), the tartare tasted like mustard (also missing the egg on top but hey). And my friend had the horse steak, which tasted like old meat (smelly and not very tender) and the portion of fries was small.. I'm French and I swear this isn't that hard to do it right. We value good ingredients, good seasoning and simplicity. And I don't like restaurants that mix upscale prices with casual dishes, and poorly execute. Nice ambiance and felt welcomed though! I think they need to step their food game up or reduce their prices. It's a non for me😔

Google
Great date night spot. Attentive service, good selection of wine, open kitchen but not loud. The food was delightful and we left feeling satisfied. The highlight would be the amazing service received from the wine recommendations, food specials, and friendly ambiance. Will definitely be revisiting.

Google
This place would be for sure my #1 reason to move to Toronto! What a fantastic place and experience. Before I talk about the outstanding staff, I MUST talk about the BEST BEEF TARTARE IVE EVER HAD! That was not a meal, that was an ode to the best flavors in the world! And now, the staff… What a group of not only talented but also passionate individuals! Every single person working there deserves the best things in life because they not only provide the best service and food I’ve had but they also cherish for you to have a great moment! Thank y’all so much for making my birthday one of the most remarkable of my life. Will be coming back, will be referring to everyone and, if you’re still reading this, stop and go there right now!

Absolutely delicious. Surprised this place isn’t on the Michelin Guide. Highly highly recommend for your next visit as the food is superior. The atmosphere, decor, and staff are the icing on the cake.

Yelp
This place hits the trifecta when it comes to food, service, and ambiance. Service was fast, kind, and informative. Ambiance was tight but quaint and comfortable. Above all else, the food was superb!! What an amazing experience to see such attention to detail in these dishes, and to see them be made right behind the bar. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
Stopped in to grab a drink before dinner. The grapefruit Stiegl was light and refreshing and the cherry delirium had a beautiful rounded flavor. The bartenders were attentive, and the space was beautiful!! I would definitely come back the next time I'm in Toronto.

Yelp
Still solid after all these years! A reliable French brasserie with staples like duck confit, mussels with frites, and bouillabaisse. Don't be shy about trying horse. I know it sounds weird but the flavour is like great quality beef. We ordered a horse tartare for the table and it tasted so fresh and delicious, everyone enjoyed it -- even the squeamish ones. The atmosphere here is cool, especially when they have live music. The food may not completely knock your socks off, but it's still very good and the restaurant, overall, has been around awhile and is definitely worth your time!

Yelp
After unsuccessfully searching Google and Yelp for a place that serves wine and cheese/charcuterie, I walked down Queens Street to search on my own. Lo and behold I found La Palette. Staff was super welcoming and accommodating. They have separate menu items for cheese and charcuterie but were kind enough to combine them for my party of 1. The wine list was solid with a great Cremant-Bourgogne rosé. But the he standout was the food. Some incredible meats and cheeses. All the meats seemed to be from wild boar and each cheese has a story. I highly recommend La PaletteS

Yelp
4.25/5 Came here for my partner's birthday dinner on a Monday evening. We were promptly seated and the first thing we noticed was the open concept kitchen where the kitchen was in the middle of the rectangular restaurant. So as we were walking towards the reserved tables (I'm assuming all the tables in the back were reserved), we passed by the kitchen, which we thought was quite neat. I love it when restahrants don't have a lot of items on the menu, and have special dishes that they change from time to time. So I was excited to try this place out. Escargot $12 4/5 The escargot was tender with a nice garlic based sauce. The fried garlic was also a nice touch as well. We just wished it was shelled as we love the process of getting it out of the shell so you can get the most amount of meat out. We just felt like there wasn't a lot of meat per escargot. Horse tartare $18 5/5 This was so tender and flavorful. Would get again but maybe as another main instead of an app. Foie Gras $27 4.5/5 We love seared foie gras and I loved how the first bite just melted in your mouth, spreading the flavor all around your mouth. Excellent. Duck Confit $38 4/5 I had a two bites of this so not rating it. My partner enjoyed it a lot but I found the Spatzle (the pasta looking thing on the plate) to be a bit mushy and out of place with the duck. The duck was a bit dry and a bit too salty in my opinion. Steak $45 4.5/5 Steak was cooked on point and the meat was so tender and tasty. The fries were nicely cooked as well. Chocolate ganache $8 4/5 We were both wondering why it was in such a small plate until we realized how thick and intense the flavor was. Not the best but pretty good. I loved it but it seemed like it was too much for my partner. Cardamom/Saffron sponge cake $9 4/5 As far a sponge cake go, this one was great. My partner enjoyed it a lot. I enjoyed it but I probably won't order it again. Service was just fine. Not a lot of checking in but it looked like they were understaffed.

Yelp
The ambiance is very cozy and intimate. As for the food we found the dishes true to French cuisine. I enjoyed the soup and duck Confit. One disappointing dish was the Fois gros which was served warm, it's not my cup of tea.

Yelp
Great restaurant! Food was great and there was a lively ambiance. I would definitely recommend the beef tartare on the regular menu - the seasoning was perfect and the hot mustard went so well with it. We got the appy size but next time I will be getting the full sized version! Out of the daily specials, the Iberico pork chops were amazing. The meat was succulent and melted in your mouth. The escargots were in some kind of Thai sauce which wasn't my favourite flavour profile but grew on me, and the duck pate was delish. There's a good wine selection and the option of getting a 1/2 litre. Definitely a great option for French esp if you want a more casual and upbeat vibe.

Yelp
Dinner here took nearly 3 hours. Not because we were sitting enjoying good conversation but that's how long it took to get our food with some people in my group getting their meals 2 hours into the seating. La Palette was recommended to me, so I took a chance and brought out of town guests here and was absolutely embarrassed by the poor service. Made a reservation for 12. One person in the group was late (out of my control) and the server refused to take our order even for appetizers until they arrived 30 min later. So 11 of us were just sitting there already very hungry and being ignored. Appetizers and small plates slowly came out over the course of an hour. Anyone without food had to make do with the complimentary bread which was quickly devoured. Our server was barely around for us to ask about following up on orders. For example, a Charcuterie board took 40 min to arrive. How is that possible when its a small board of cured meat and some pickles. I'd like to say the food was probably good as other diners have noted. I enjoyed the Foie Gras and Fondant Fromage the most. Sad to say my friend who ordered a steak got it cold with cold fries as if it had been sitting up at the pass for a while. On their website they note that this isn't the place for you if you are in a rush for service. I thought that meant they were just a chill place, not that you'd be entirely ignored. We weren't even rude at all. If we were demanding it's because we were forced to be demanding just for basic service. If you see the rest of my review history I'm not a stickler for service, and am very generous overall with my ratings. I noticed the other large group next to us under a different server was being served regularly and having a great time. They were all dressed in suits. I can't verify this claim but it felt like they discriminated us based on our attire and overall ages. I'm fine to take my money elsewhere since it felt like LA Palette doesn't want someone like me there anyways.

Yelp
Loved my experience at La Palette, everything from the food to the service was impeccable. We tried the salmon, steak frites and risotto and it was all so flavourful. We also got an appetizer involving fried cheese; I could've eaten 5 of those they were so good. There's horse on the menu if you're more adventurous. The ambiance is wonderful inside with the open kitchen and exposed brick. It's a pretty small place so it's good to call for a reservation beforehand. We'd made a reservation and we're given 2 hours to eat, our server let us know well in advance that we needed to start wrapping it up. I can't say enough good things about the service. I watched the servers deal with demanding customers with ease and grace and I always felt like we were well taken care of. Definitely recommend this place for a fancy dinner out!

Yelp
Don't go here! Garbage service from host. I called at 8:57PM on New Year's Eve 2023-2024. Management take note of who was working at this time because I'd fire the male host for treating a customer like this. I called to ask if it was busy and what the wait was. Immediately he shot back "it's New Year's Eve, of course we're f**king busy. What's your real question?" That is not how you treat your customers. I will never eat at a place with workers who think it's okay to be rude for no reason.

Yelp
It's rare you have a meal where everything is perfect: each course, the wine, the ambiance, and the service, but that's exactly what we got at La Palette. I recommend making a reservation in advance, but if you don't, they will do their best to accommodate you. We watched the bartender and waitstaff expertly take care of each customer while making wine recommendations and carrying on friendly conversations. While the specials all sounded amazing, we ended up ordering oysters, a salad, the risotto, and creme brulee along with the bartender's recommendation of the Sauvignon Blanc. Every bite and sip was absolutely delicious. We can't wait until we get to come back again.

Yelp
I was looking for restaurants in Toronto that serve horse meat and came across La Palette! I was not disappointed. La Palette is a French bistro that lives up to the hype. We ordered some classic French dishes such as Foie Gras and Duck Confit and they were amazing. The main dish that really did it for me was the Horse Tenderloin. I have never tried horse meat before so I wasn't sure what to expect but I was very pleasantly surprised when trying it at La Palette. The Horse Tenderloin was similar to beef, slightly sweeter and slightly gamier - I highly recommend trying this dish when visiting. The Duck Confit and Foie Gras were fantastic as well. They also have a large selection of wines which is a must and the staff knew their stuff when it came to food pairings. Regarding seating, we went during phase 2 COVID re-openings (patios only) and the only thing I'd say is the patios are quite close to the cars on Queen St. which made it a bit uneasy but understandable given the current circumstances. I can only imagine the experience to be much better when indoor dining resumes. Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Absolutely spectacular and wonderful little place. La Palette transports you to France as soon as you step foot. The staff are all marvellous, and shoes such hospitality. Now to the main part: the food! Do not get me start about the dishes! Everything we ordered was phenomenal!! So delicious, and the ingredients are really high quality!

Yelp
horse meat tartare was amazing surprisingly pleasant and not often offered. cosy and cute post for french food. small menu

Yelp
Visiting La Palette before the COVID-19 lockdown. Me and a friend stopped by to enjoy a late lunch on their patio while shopping. I've yet to visit any restaurants in the west end so I thought this was a good choice. They kept us all socially distanced apart and showed us the menu via a chalk board. We went with the muscles and the Arctic fish. Both were amazing! The muscles was in a saffron sauce which I've never had before. The side fries were really good as well, they came with a garlic aioli sauce to dip. The fish also came with potatoes that were amazing as well. I'd defiantly go back to dine or for take out if I'm in the area again.

Yelp
We had a simply amazing time, both times we visited La Palette. Both times we sat at the Bar. Davide was wonderful and so much fun to spend the evening together. The foie dish and canard confit were both sublime. Great food, wonderful wine list and fun, welcoming and friendly folks all make for a truly wonderful experience

Yelp
As far as a French restaurant goes, have to say this hits all the important points. From start to finish this place had that quaint French bistro feel. Best part was saying, I'm sure our server as French. He was France. Their knowledge of the food and wine was on point even when we had a friend from a region in France the server was so good in talking to him about its nuisances versus the other choices available. We were all floored. Classic French dishes. We had a variety of dishes - fish, chicken, steak, soup. We loved everything. They even offer a great price fixe menu. Take advantage of it! I had the steak frites. Damn!!!!! Best one. For dessert, of course creme brûlée. Tried the classic as well as the kahlua. Perfect! We also tried the chocolate mousse and the carrot cake dessert. Again, both delicious. However all of us were floored by the carrot cake. Fluffy, light but so flavourful. Cocktails were on the strong side but.... still tasty. I hear the brunch is just as solid. Just as a note, reservations at this place are 2 hours. My new favourite go to place!

Yelp
Came here to try the duck confit and it did not disappoint! The duck was not overly salty like most places, and had a nice char on the skin. The duck leg was on a bed of wild rice which sat in some broth. The wild rice was also cooked really well, a balance between retaining a bit of the chewy texture but so much that it would be hard on the stomach. The only thing I didn't quite like in the dish was the pesto like herb sauce. It was on the sour side which masked the flavours of the herbs/greens. I also had the escargot for appetizer. The garlic oil went really well with the complimentary bread.
google avatar

Christian E.

Yelp
Came in expecting a great experience but fell short. Ordered the Steak Frites and it came out cold. When I expressed my concerns I was told this would get fixed. I never received an apology and a few mins later I was brought back the SAME COLD STEAK just slightly warmer. Most places with good customer service would make a fresh new steak for messing up the first one but not here! My girlfriend got the tortellini which was good but had only 6 pieces. Overall experience wasn't great especially for the price tag it carried.
google avatar

Christianna W.

Yelp
Food was good, just an odd hole in the wall kinda vibe. Horse meat is their specialty, which I somehow missed in my research.
google avatar

Will T.

Yelp
Three stars at best. Food was great but paled in comparison to Jules bistro. Service was only acceptable, didn't check up on us and at the end the bill had a $40 mistake. Thankfully we raised this because we DID NOT order the Cheval! It was cozy and dim and there were some vegan protesters outside but that didn't deter us. Not saying the expedience was terrible just not quite 4 stars.

Lilly H.

Yelp
Some of the best Duck Confit I've had in the city!! Very cozy and cute, exactly what you'd expect from a french bistro
google avatar

Yelp
First off, lemme say this place is spot on to a bistro in Paris. The ambiance, the bar, the pictures, all of it. It's so French, and I love it. Now onto the food... wow. We ordered the horse tartare, the escargot, the bone marrow and the horse steak/duck confit mixed plate. All of it was amazing. The horse tartare was super clean and meat forward. It focused on the taste of the meat, instead of masking it with ALL the spices and flavours they could throw at it. The escargot, with browned garlic butter and hazelnuts, was delicious. Most people eat it with bread but I was spooning full bits into my mouth. The bone marrow was buttery and fatty with a nice spice hint, and the sweet toasted bread that was served with it provided a lovely contrast. Finally, the horse and duck. Horse was the incredibly soft and tender, and the duck was juicy with an amazing crispy skin. I have nothing to say, it was a fantastic meal. Do yourself a favour, and visit this restaurant.

Yelp
3.5 Stars Having walked by this place numerous times I was excited to try it out! The restaurant has a old French vibe, like sitting in the old country in grandma's home..lol The food is good but not superb. I had the mussels and the 6oz steak, along with the beef and horse tartare. I will say they have a price-fix menu for $36 (app/main/dessert) and there are lots of choices for this option- I would definitely recommend this option- the steak is one of them! The mussels came in a nice broth, perhaps a bit flat but overall good. I enjoyed my medium rare steak - it was done to perfect and the frites were nice, thin, and crisp! I've tried beef tartare before but never horse. The horse one had a leaner taste than the beef. I'm glad I tried it but don't think I'd try it again. Just not my thing Dessert I chose the creme brûlée and it was your standard fare. Since it was my birthday dinner they brought it out with a candle and a balloon! Service here is great - friendly and they provide recommendations if wanted.

Samantha Q.

Yelp
Disappointing experience and food. The steak was over cooked, the trout was raw in the middle and the fries were stale/overcooked. Portions were small and over priced. The experience itself was also poor. I asked the waiter if the restaurant had a cocktail menu. His response was that "people should grow up and learn to drink wine with their food". I regret staying at the restaurant after his comment, waisting my money on the tiny portions and leaving hungry. My bill was $63 w/o alcohol. Do yourself a favour and try one of the many great restaurants on Queen W instead of this place.

Yelp
We went to La Palette for dinner this past weekend and shared two appetizers, two mains and a dessert. The restaurant and patio were at capacity and the staff seemed to be running around all night. Everyone was friendly and attentive though so I had no complaints about the service whatsoever. The wine we ordered was excellent and we were actually able to sample a few different types that our water had recommended to us which was cool. When it comes to wine La Palette definitely knows their stuff and doesn't play around. Appetizers: the garden salad was light, refreshing, earthy and really enjoyable. The pate was pretty bland but the pickles and mustard on the side did help to balance out the flavours and heaviness a little bit. Mains: The duck confit tasted great and the skin was nice and crispy but it was too salty. The stuffed squash that was served with it was very good and fitting for the season. On its own the beef tartare was nothing special - it didn't have as much flavour as some of the beef tartare I had in Paris last year but it did pair really well with the crostini, mustard and pickles that came with it. The shoestring fries were amazing but like the duck confit, they were far too salty. The creme brûlée trio consisted of three different types of miniature creme brûlée's: orange cardamom, vanilla and espresso. The orange cardamom wasn't for me but the vanilla was really tasty and the espresso was delicious. Overall the the wine was excellent, the food was good for the most part and I was happy with the service but I don't plan on going back anytime soon.

Yelp
Our server Ana (I think) was amazing. From Quebec her French accent was charming and fit the restaurant to perfection. Every item she recommended from the beet soup, to the tartare to our tiger prawns and chocolate mouse, ahhhmazing!!! Truly an exceptional meal from service to a satisfied palette

Yelp
A great taste of France located in Toronto's downtown. I've heard only good things about this place and decided to take the gf here for a surprise birthday dinner! The staff and chiefs were very attentive and the food came out sizzling hot and warm to the touch. I ordered the duck confit, along with the steamed mussles and a nice house dessert to end things off. Overall a very romantic vibe and great for a date. The food was top notch and you'd better be sure it will go down in the DM after you take that special someone here for the night!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for dinner to celebrate and couldn't be happier! The atmosphere was quite cozy and intimate. Our server was patient and knowledgeable! I had the prix fixe which was a great value ($37 for pâté, duck confit, and a dessert). Servings were large and everything was of good quality. Can't wait to try the mussels next time!

Yelp
Dropped in on a Saturday at around 11. We were walking along queen Street looking for a restaurant. Many were not open yet. The decor is quite eclectic. The open kitchen is at the front of the restaurant. There were freshly baked biscuits and croissants on the counter as we walked in to be seated. I ordered the eggs Benedict which was delicious. My friend doesn't eat meat so asked them to make an omelette with vegetables and cheese which he said was very good. We also ordered a croissant which was crispy and flaky outside and soft inside. The coffee was also very good. We learned the buy locally from a roastery in kensington market. This place was real find albeit by accident. We definitely will be back.
google avatar

M L.

Yelp
Food is 4.5 stars! But I think this place is seriously understaff. Only one waitress was running around the whole time I was there. I was there on a Saturday around 1:30 for brunch. Ordered eggs Benedict, it was very good!! Especially the fries! And I quite like the biscuit underneath the bacon and egg. I waited long time to order, and a water wasn't refilled quickly. Also it took a while to settle the bill.

Yelp
Had an extremely terrible experience at this restaurant. Went here for dinner and the first thing upon walking in that I noticed was that the cook in the open kitchen area had a very long beard and wasn't wearing a hair net. We later watched as the cook and the bus boy prepared our plates and then saw the bus boy LICK HIS FINGERS in front of us and DIDN'T WASH HIS HANDS after. I brought this up to our waitress and she mentioned it to the cook but neither one brought up our concerns to the bus boy. The bus boy then proceed to walk around the open kitchen area eating the leftover fries with his hands and putting away plates and pans. As someone who has worked in the food industry this is unacceptable and frankly a health hazard. I will definitely not be returning to this restaurant.

Yelp
Cool place, really good wine and friendly staff. Duck confit was nice and crisp and tender but i felt it was just slightly dry and the salad didnt pair too well but the pork chops were amazing. Beef tartare was very good too, they added some peas to it which was interesting. To finish, we had a banana desert which was surprisingly so delicious!

Yelp
Found this place wandering around on our first day in Toronto. Started our day drinking here. Very chill place. The owner and staff were very friendly and chatted with us while we enjoyed our drinks. Had a Canadian cider. It was pretty good. This is a great place to hang out during the day or even for nightlife. Highly recommended.

Yelp
We had a Friday night date night and went to La Palette for a wonderful dinner. La Palette serves high quality French cuisine and provides a great atmosphere to eat. The restaurant is not too large and they decorate it with drapes and curtains at the entrance and use dim lighting to create a cozy, romantic ambiance. La Palette offered a prix fixe combo with an appetizer, a main and a dessert so after debating on various adventurous options (many reviews kindly point out they serve horse meat and other interesting items) on their menu, we decided to go with the combo to try more varieties. My love she ordered the 'Moules du jour' (mussels), chicken main course and creme brule. I ordered escargot (snails), duck main course and chocolate mousse. After a short wait, our appetizers came, along with some bread on the house. I liked the escargot but found it slightly slimy (yeah snails are slimy). I really like the mussels (moules du jour) they were delicious and the sauce was excellent. The duck main dish was was also very good. I got a nice large piece and it came in a thick, savoury sauce. I also tried some chicken and it was also tasty. Finally. The desserts came and they were both amazing. I liked the creme brule a little bit more but both the creme brule and chocolate mousse were excellent. Overall. Excellent food, great atmosphere and very good service. La Palette is a high end restaurant that delivers on quality. 4.7 / 5.0

Yelp
We had raw horse meat. Very good. And rare horse sirloin. Very good as well. The desserts were good. But it is a little bit expensive for what it is. Plus the wood chair was VERY uncomfortable ! The waiters were nice.

Yelp
Drop by La Palette for brunch on a Sunny Sunday afternoon. If you love and enjoy the warm sunshine, make sure you sit at the front of the restaurant... I have to wear my sunglasses while enjoying my brunch! Eggs Benedict with hollondaise on ricotta herb biscuits with Wild boar belly shank crepinette ($14) was A-OK. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the wild boar belly was tender..... The only thing I can complain was my salad was drowned in the really sour dressing... Services was hit and miss...I wouldn't say I was neglected, but not overly attentive... I might come back for the Prix Fixe menu and give La Palette another try!
google avatar

Becca S.

Yelp
The chefs at La Palette craft each meal with great attention to detail. The Poisson was cooked to perfection and the flavor radiated ever so decadently from the dish. The waiters were friendly, provided great direction, and our water glasses were always full. I suggest finishing your meal with an americano with dessert. Both the mousse and the zesty lemon tart are good options. The portions are small and the plates a bit expensive, but you're paying for the TLC that goes into both the food and service. It's obvious those at La Palette know about quality food service. It's definitely a dinner worth your $$.

Yelp
Superb. The braised bison short ribs with bay scallops, toasted barley, cherry tomatoes, shallots - a masterpiece of comfort food. The horse tartar and oysters - fantastic start. Some of the best service in the city - great attention to making you feel like a very welcome guest. From ownership to host to waiter - they make the difference. Live music after sealed the deal - our favourite French in the city. The band Rambunctious play from time to time - unmissable experience!

Yelp
Service was great and the food was even better! The horse tenderloin melts in your mouth (and surprisely has no after taste the way goat or lamb normally does) and the duck confit just rips apart! Both dishes are definitely a must try

Joy X.

Yelp
I got the Prix Fixe menu and the Confit de Canard was VERY good. A few bites in though, it started getting pretty salty and had to get many refills of water. Overall it was very good still (might be better and less salty if you get wine with it). We also had the escargot (I ate some before taking the picture) which was also VERY good and the sauce was very nice with the complimentary bread. For dessert, we had the apple crumble which was a bit weird because it was like a piece of pound cake and too sweet for my liking. My boyfriend got the Quack 'n' Track which he really enjoyed as well! Overall the food VERY good! A bit too salty/sweet at times but the flavours superior. Also there's like 2 waiters for the whole area running around so service isn't amazing but the food is!

Yelp
Perhaps the rudest staff and owner I have ever encountered. Tried to make a reservation over the phone and the staff was beyond unnecessarily rude and pretentious for no reason. Didn't bother to make a reservation. 0/10 do not recommend.

Yelp
Great bar/restaurant we sat at the bar on a sunny afternoon drinking pale ale from Quebec and talking to the friendly barman Tom (from Dublin). This place has a very chilled atmosphere serving locals (a guy named trout) and tourists , it made the afternoon a great experience! Give it a try....,

Yelp
Stopped in while shopping the eclectic area known as Queen St West in Toronto. Was not disappointed! Awesome ambiance. Great drinks - I had the Elvis Juice and St. Ambroise and neither disappointed. My partner recommends the Radeberger Pilsner, it's like a fancy Coors Light. We wanted to share a light lunch or app, so we ordered the sandwich of the day: grilled croissant with goat cheese, bacon, and spinach. It was delicious, like a French BLT Croque Monsieur. The fries were crispy and were served with a yummy aioli. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
Great atmosphere, great food but it's the little things that makes this place great. I'm no French cuisine expert but if you want to feel like you've taken a trip to Paris, you can't go wrong with La Palette
