La Parenthèse du Rond Royal

This place made my holiday. The rooms are fabulous and well equipped, the bed is very comfortable. The are is absolute lovely. It is a quiet neighbour, exactly what I had been looking for. The area is made for relaxing enjoyment, cycling, walking and strolling about. Excellent breakfast and a very friendly and helpful host. Regrettably I stayed only for 2 nights. Shame I didn’t extend my stay. It is simply beautiful

The town is a lovely friendly place with plenty of places to eat. The main square was 10-15 minutes from the hotel. Sites you see in the town impress too so a great stop of place for us. Delphine was the perfect host, booking us a table for dinner in town and ensuring we had everything we needed. The rooms are fantastic and put together very thoughtfully. We loved our stay here and our walk into town.

Our stay at Parenthese du Rond Royal was excellent. We were welcomed by the lovely Delphine and were able to park our motorcycles in a secure yard. Our accommodation was clean and comfortable and a great nights sleep was had. A super recommendation for dinner was made by Delphine and Bistro du Terroir was an excellent choice. Breakfast was simple and excellent and check out efficient. Would definitely stay again 😊

I came here because I wanted to spend time in my dad’s home town during a visit to Paris. I was pleasantly surprised. The grounds are beautiful and well kept, quiet and peaceful. The rooms are large, plenty of room to stretch out in. All the comforts of home. The hostess, Delphine, is wonderful to have conversations with and she goes out of her way to accommodate you. Because of my recent leg surgery, I could not get up the steps to the breakfast room, so she brought breakfast to my daughter and myself to eat on our terrace. She will make anything you prefer for breakfast. I so appreciate the attention to detail and the ability to speak English when I’m too tired to think in French. Dog and cat are welcoming as well. We stayed for two nights at La Parenthese as four friends on a cycling trip - the B&B is a lovely old house with the rooms in the courtyard behind - very comfortable and stylish, and very peaceful while being walking distance from Compiegne centre. Delphine is a great hostess and we felt very at home, and we enjoyed the generous breakfast. We had gone to cycle in the Forest of Compiegne but hadn't realised what a lovely town it is - well worth a visit.

Delphine is a wonderful host. She's friendly, offers lots of information about restaurants, activities and events in the area. Breakfast is super, and the rooms are charming

Absolutely beautiful b&b, our host, Delphine, couldn't have been more welcoming.|The room was superb with very thoughtful, luxury touches. Everything you could wish for.|The location was excellent, although just a few minutes walk from the centre of Compiegne the property was in a very quiet and scenic area.|We were served a delicious breakfast in the morning.|Delphine certainly is a wonderful host and we can't wait to return for another visit.
