Well, I got what I paid for. I understand it's a 3-star hotel but still...Rooms are extremely small, everything is small...Service was good with the receptionist Alberto and the breakfast lady Donna but the others shouldn't be in a business where good interaction and communication with people is necessary. One said he couldn't lend me for 10 minutes utensils from the kitchen. I guess big time policy or ...simply very poor customer service? Regardless, not a plus. You can spend your money better!

❌Review for Hotel La Parizienne – Paris❌ My cousin and I stayed at Hotel La Parizienne and, while our stay started well, it ended in an extremely distressing and unsafe situation that left us shaken and ultimately unable to recommend this hotel. To begin with the positives: The location was fantastic and perfect for our trip. The room and bathroom were basic, but as expected for the price. Housekeeping came daily to refresh towels, make the bed, and empty the bins, which we appreciated. The only minor issue was a strong smell from the shower drain, but we initially chose to overlook this. Unfortunately, everything went downhill during checkout. Our flight was at 10:45am, so we checked out at 7:30am and struggled to get an Uber due to heavy morning traffic. We asked the man at reception if he could call a taxi for us. He abruptly told us he would, that it would arrive in 10 minutes, and insisted that we “must not” accept an Uber once he had called. We found his tone sharp, but assumed he was being helpful. We also double-checked that the taxi would accept card—since we had no cash—and he told us all taxis in Paris accept card. When the taxi driver arrived, he greeted the receptionist warmly with a hug and spoke to him in French. He barely acknowledged us, which immediately made us uneasy. Within minutes of driving, we noticed he had not started the meter. When we asked, he claimed it was a fixed fare of €75 to the airport (Uber was typically €50). We asked again if he accepted card and he looked at me through the rearview mirror and very coldly spelled out “N-O.” His energy shifted instantly—it felt hostile and threatening, and as two young women travelling alone, we felt genuinely unsafe. He then began talking aggressively—either to himself or to someone on the phone—and insisted on driving us around the city to find an ATM. When we got out of the car, we immediately agreed we did not feel safe getting back in. The ATM wasn’t working, and when we told him, he suddenly said he would take card after all and produced a card machine, contradicting everything he said earlier. By this point we were extremely stressed and just wanted to get out of the situation. We told him we were no longer going to the airport and would pay only the fare up to that point. He started arguing in French on the phone, refused to listen, and tried to pressure us into contacting the hotel so they could arrange another airport ride. I repeatedly asked for our luggage and he ignored me until finally he opened the boot, handed the bag over, and sped away. For two 23-year-old girls in a foreign country, this was terrifying. His behaviour felt threatening, manipulative, and unsafe. Whether he was attempting to overcharge us or whether it was something more sinister, I don’t know—but the hotel set us up with this driver, and that alone is enough for me to say: I would not stay here again. After escaping the situation, we had to navigate public transport on our own, running with heavy cases through the city and airports, barely making our flight. What should have been a simple check-out turned into an ordeal that overshadowed our entire trip. In summary: The hotel itself is decent for the price, but the staff’s involvement with this taxi driver created a frightening and potentially dangerous situation. For that reason, I cannot recommend Hotel La Parizienne.

Beautiful, comfortable little boutique hotel near lots of restaurants and cafes. Bed was comfortable, bathroom very tiny. Had an issue with mold in the shower which took 4 days to be cleaned, but otherwise it was a very clean room. (In the meantime I had a reaction that caused a sinus infection!!) The blowdryer is permanently attached and requires you to hold the button while you dry your hair which cramps your hand in like 5 seconds! Impossible to use. Luckily they found me a portable one to use! They do provide a tea kettle but the cups are not replaced - you have to wash your cups!! Had a difficult time with the maids not leaving toilet paper and tissues - even when I placed on the bed as a hint they needed replacing! Breakfast was pretty good, but basic. Scrambled eggs, cold cuts, cheeses, pain au chocolates and croissants from a good bakery. Surprising that they did not have a blanket - but at least the thermostat could be easily changed. They provide a bath gel/shampoo and conditioner, but no body lotion - so I had to go buy. I enjoyed the hotel, it was just a little frustrating at times!

Had a wonderful stay at the La parizienne, central to most attractions. Wonderful walk but also the option of the bus and metro. Breakfast was good and the waitress was so king and welcoming. We booked the de lux room and would definitely recommend and stay again. Plenty of restaurants, bakeries and cafes next to the hotel.

The La Parizienne Hotel is affordable, welcoming, and located in a wonderful part of the city with plenty to do nearby. The staff were lovely and very accommodating to English speakers. When an issue arose during our stay, they resolved it quickly and went above and beyond what we expected. I would happily recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again.

Very nice hotel, perfectly located to explore Paris. Rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is plentiful, and the metro station is just around the corner. A big thank you to Alberto at the reception, always smiling and ready to share great tips to enjoy the city at its best!

For a first time visiting Paris, we’ve had the chance to stay at this charming hotel, which totally made our experience better than we thought it would be. The rooms are very cute, clean and nicely decorated with extremely comfortable beds and pillows! The location was great, you could see the Eiffel Tower when you cross the street in front of the hotel, and the Luxembourg gardens are just at a 10minute walk. It’s surrounded by cute cafes, restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores which made it all extra easy for us. The metro was close and conveniently located for reaching all locations. The staff was amazing and very helpful. There is 24/7 reception area, with people ready to help you with whatever you may need. (They were so kind to help us with our uber at 3am, so we can make it to the airport safely, so special thanks for that<3)

Yelp
This is our third stay at this Boutique Hotel. The room is small, but we've been in smaller. So for us , this is fine. Our room this time is in the rear and first floor. I think there are 5 floors. We don't have street traffic noise but we do hear the elevator. Sounds a little like a subway. I ll get used to it. Our room has a mini refer that isn't working but they will check it tomorrow for service. I was able to buy water bottles at the desk. Fair price. The front of the building is going to be repainted the same color. Both receptionists are bi lingual. No problems there. We have a good wi if. On the street are many choices for dinner. All good. I really like it here, staying 3 nights.

Yelp
This is a cute, sassy place off the busy street of Paris. We stayed here for about 4 nights. Receptionist speaks English so that's always a plus. A couple of things to be aware of: Cons - The stairs are SUPER narrow. walk ways are SUPER NARROW. The space around the parameter of your bed is less than one foot. The elevator can only fit 2 people. The bedroom is smaller than a dorm. Staff is useless when it comes to resources - I asked about the train and recommendations on places to eat. She (blonde) says to ask the train station and look around. Some staff are approachable. This blonde one isn't approachable at all. Everything is small and tight. Made for slim folks. If you're a person of size, this is your warning. The cleaning staff take out your belongings and leave it in the hall while they clean your room. It's that small! We came in the fall time (October) and they shut off the AC (even tho they say AC is offered online - misleading). Windows are nice with a cool breeze. However, the streets is LOUD at night. People yelling, chatting from 0000-0400 on a weekday, dump truck woke us up. And neighbors smoke as well. So we wanted to shut the windows and turn on the AC for those reasons. If they want to save money on AC then give us a big discount since we're paying for the amenities! Pro+++ Location is awesome. It has your basic amenities: towels, hair dryer, soap. Receptionist speaks English. Modern decor. Umbrella to use. You can leave your luggage if you're too early for check in. On the security list it showed that a charger (assuming international charger) and bathroom is available for use and if it's missing it'll cost 30Euro. I tried to clarify this with the front desk since we were missing these items initially and she looked at me like an idiot with a poker face stare: "If we don't give it to you, we don't charge you." Well, that's why I wanted to clarify - sometimes housekeeping may missed restocking an item and you'll end up with the bill. I feel like I'm better off staying at an AirBnB or Hostel.
