After reading reviews, we were more than disappointed with our entire experience here. From an unfriendly waitress to listening to oldy-moldy American music, it was not a traditional Mexican meal. The pico de gallo was tomato, diced onion and one little leaf of cilantro. Without lime or jalapeños it was bland and flavourless. The taco chips were so greasy they were wet and unpalatable. My panucho de pollo were also dripping with grease and the juice extremely sweet. My companions puc choc was another disaster. When you bend a fork and have difficulty cutting with a serrated knife it is apparent quality isn’t of a concern to them. Even the little sausage that topped the dish was reluctant to be cut from its casing. Glancing up, we noticed the dust on the mural beside us was so thick it was waving in the breeze from the fan and we thought it would fall into our food. Not a good experience and definitely not a mistake we will repeat.

Really nice place to enjoy local food, I had an amazing Pan de Cazón! Thanks again, I'll be back

I'd 4.5 if I could. The food and service is excellent here. I ate here every day, twice, twice... Shrimp cocktail? Tops. Panuchos? Best yet. Caesar con pollo? Tasty -- an interesting "Mexican " version on the dressing with exceptional grilled chicken. Sunday they do mole chicken. I ordered before I saw it... On the napkin dispenser. HINT: yell... "it's mole day !!" I wish I'd tried their mole based on the quality of other dishes I tried. Efficient and old-school service. They're waiters, not your friends. And they're cool with that. I am too. This place is apparently open 24 hrs. They are a sister restaurant, jointly owned, with the swank(er) Marganzo(a?)... The quality shows. I miss you already...

This restaurant is a little cheaper than some of the surrounding restaurants and you are sure to see more locals here. You get a lot more options than some go the smaller cafes. Food and beverage is average. Nice interior with murals and original architecture, perhaps this aspect is the best things about this restaurant.

The mondongo was nice and flavourful. The cochinita pibil tacos were dry and cold. Would not visit again.

I have eaten fish fillet with garlic garnished and a flan for dessert. Everything was very yummy! And the price is okay too. If you are in Campeche don’t miss it!

Friendly, welcoming staff. Fast service. Baby friendly. We had a great meal. I had the scrambled eggs with cazón. My toddler had the molletes. My wife had eggs and bacon. All of it was really good. They refilled our coffee. The vibe was chill and historical. The only downside was that it was hot Inside. They have fans but there's only so much they can do. The toast was amazing and worth a visit just for that.

Yelp
Good sopa de lima. There was a man singing Love songs in the front.. He did a nice job

Yelp
I ate the panuchos de cochinita pibil which are good. Nice appetizer came with the meal. I would say it is a good place to try traditional food of Campeche. The only thing that bothered me is there were some flies flying around my table but strangely they went away before my food came. Consider sitting towards the back to avoid flies.

Yelp
My fiancé and I were at a beach y hotel for one night and needed some dinner, I knew Panuchos are a local maxi an plate and never had them, our hotel receptionist referred us to this restaurant and let me tell you food was SO good! We had a shrimp coctel, and chicken Panuchos! Definitely try the Panuchos! Our server was very nice and service overall was outstanding.

Yelp
This place did the job. Open 24 hours in a handy location and with a varied menu. The food comes with the obligatory nachos, bread, received beans, hot sauce that EVERY meal in this town comes with. Service is friendly enough but it would help if you could speak Mexican as they won't make any effort in the other direction.

Yelp
Great service and good options for lunch. It is a traditional Mexican restaurant you can find all the local foods and the place is great for groups. The staff very helpful and you can see locals just enjoying lunch and reading the paper. We had soup and some apps and it was great. The Chaya and Pineapple is very good and refreshing. If you want to try some of the local food, this is a great place.

Yelp
Terrific! We ate breakfast here and enjoyed it so much that we came back for dinner! Breakfast was very filling for a great price, and the food arrived very quickly. Our dinner of ceviche and coconut shrimp was very tasty. Service was top notch on both occasions. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Cesar was our waitperson each and every time we visited this comforting establishment. He's seriously one-of-kind awesome! Considering we rarely go anywhere more than once while traveling, food and service merited visiting repeatedly. You're not going to the moon Alice but the venue is 24/7, clean, predictable and an icon in the town of Campeche. Food options range from American to Regional. Tell me something, where can you order Liver & Onions ANYWHERE in MX (not my fave but my husband lights up like a Xmas tree)? Honest-Reasonable-Great Service.

Yelp
Tasty traditional food at great prices. The ceviche was wonderful - a meal in itself. Rich coconut milk is the basis of the best homemade horchata. If horchata is your thing, definitely do it here. High ceilings with fans, but no A/C.
