The service was very friendly and helpful. The food absolutely tasty! The vine: Amazing. I will always recommend the plat du jour👍

Fantastic meal and experience! Had the snails as appetizer (his grandmother’s recipe) and beef and bone marrow for two as dinner. A lot of food., which included chimichurri sauce and fries fried in duck fat. Highly recommend - wait staff incredibly nice and spoke English. Thank you!

I hate to give a bad review when the staff is friendly, but I have to. Went there with my friend, we each had a main dish, desserts, 1 coffee and aperitifs. The meat of both our main dishes was not particularly tender. I took dish of the day to be a bit adventurous, and it had no flavour. Desserts were very mediocre. Ordered an espresso to end the evening, and it was not an espresso - it was the last drips of an already made coffee. I hope that we were just unlucky, but had to give an honest review. The staff was very kind, but might have been good to be a little more attentive. The food I will not comment more on, but hope the chef just had a bad day :-)

Chanced upon this, on a random walk through the Montmartre area just as they were opening for the afternoon. Trusted our instinct (versus the lot more crowded eateries around) and loved it. First, the baguette was one of the best we’ve tasted, and that’s a statement for anywhere in Paris. Then we got solid recommendations from our server and left after a wonderful meal. Particularl shoutout for a chicken plat, that looks simple but would be so easy to get wrong. It’s a typical slow, delicious and rightfully proud French eatery.

10/10 price for value. We had the lunch menu (entree + main) and shared the escargot. Everything tasted amazing, the place is very authentic, and the owner speaks perfect English.

Had the most lovely meal while visiting Montmartre with our lovely family. Owner and staff made us feel extremely welcome and the food was beautiful. We had barbequed sardines, veal and shrimp to start. The sardines were just the right balance of salty BBQ deliciousness paired with a creme fresh dip. The veal was perfectly cooked and the shrimp starter was unbelievably fresh. For mains we had the duck and cod, both of which were stunning and paired nicely with the wine recommendations. And yes...we somehow managed to fit in dessert which was equally divine. Highly recommended, amazing find for a beautiful romantic meal with love ones. Wouldn't recommend for most family's with young children.

Our dinner here was exceptional, and the service was friendly and helpful. I had the fish of the day (excellent), hubs had the duck (outstanding) and our kid had the porch chop (she’s 17 and loved it) - and watching the food coming out at the tables near by…looks like everyone in the place was happy with their meal. If we were going to be in Paris longer, we would return without batting an eye!

We stumbled upon this gem wandering in Montmartre. We were warmly greeted, the menu was explained in detail, and the waiter was so great at giving wine suggestions. The food was very good and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The drinks/wine are very well priced and they have a very special reserve cognac that is worth the upgrade!

Yelp
We stumbled upon this bistro while trying to find a bite late near our hotel in Montmartre. The owner was hospitable, the ambiance was lovely, and this was one of the best meals we had in Paris (and there were many). Also, I will dream about the duck and potatoes, and absolutely the best bread pudding I've ever had. This is a must if you're in the area!

Yelp
I know what I want for my last meal on Earth: start with a "nuit d'été" cocktail, while waiting for a pork chop and scalloped potatoes from La part des Anges with a glass of chilled red wine. Follow up with artisanal chestnut and vanilla ice cream. Heavenly, indeed.

Yelp
John is the best! We listened to him speak four different languages. Everyone felt welcomed and the food was excellent! I loved the Magret de Canard (duck). Best foie gras we had in Paris.

Yelp
Very good place for a late night bite before heading out to some nearby bars. Had the duck and burger, both were excellent. Friendly english speaking staff and free wifi.
