Google
La Pasadita Inn is dishing out authentic Mexican food with great flavor and heat. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Mexican food with kick. If you are not a fan of heat make sure to let them know because even the complimentary salsa is spicy. I’ve tried the enchilada, Relleno, and the tamales. They were all delicious and way above average for Denver metro area standards. I’d stop by if you are on the line, it comfortably makes my list for top ten best Mexican food in Denver metro. Definitely the best Mexican restaurant in Uptown/North Capitol Hill.

Google
Small cozy restaurant in a triangle building. Attentive service, tasty food, reasonable prices. Totally hit the spot! First time here so can only try so many things. Chips and salsa on the table within minutes. Salsa had a kick which is a necessity for me. Ordered the enchilada plate, one cheese, one chicken and came with refried beans and rice. Rice was ok, everything else was on point. We had to try the green chili sauce and that was good too. Hubby got a fried relleno which was very good too. Will come back again.

Google
Randomly saw this place when going to unsafeway. The staff doesn't talk to much but will get you serviced. The food was amazing and very authentic. Def adding this as one of my go to spots

Google
Absolutely incredible little hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant. Probably the best I’ve ever been to. Incredible margaritas, authentic cuisine, inviting atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back again.

Google
A MUST TRY. One one the best little restaurants iv been to in a while. The food was fantastic and tasted great. The green chili was super delicious. Very clean and organized even the menus got cleaned after every use. Ill be coming back in no time thank you.

Google
An institution. The stuffed sopapilla, a unique menu item, may be the closest to heaven we ever get to achieve on this earthly plane.

Google
The chile rellenos (crispy) were FABULOUS!! The crispy tacos, chicharrones, salsa, everything was absolutely delicious! It's like you're sitting in a family's kitchen getting home cooked food that truly is wonderful! And don't forget the flan!

Google
This place has been such a crutch for us, right across the street, great food, great prices and always a spot. This would be one of the few things that we will miss in this area of Denver after moving out. Definitely recommend it!

Ernie S.

Yelp
My wife and I have driven past this spot a few times and tonight we finally tried it! Lots of outdoors seating and a smaller area indoors. Several families and couples. This place is amazing. The food was really really good and I had a good margarita as well. I had ground beef enchiladas (2). As a couple was leaving they told us that they'd been going there for years and that everything they've ever ordered has been amazing... well so far I'm 1/1 on a delicious meal! My wife had floutas and she said they were really good! They also made my daughter a kids quesadilla which she inhaled! Will have to keep going to back to try more plates!!

Shaine M.

Yelp
I've always wanted to try this place! It's in such a fun spot and I hope it stays there forever. A teeny place with what feels like family cooking you a meal. All of the staff were lovely, attentive and quiet. Only came around when needed and at the perfect times. Very respectful. The food was out in what seemed like 60 seconds and was HOT and FRESH. So good. The ground beef taco and the chicken enchilada were so good. I will definitely be back. Can't wait to sit on the patio in summer.

Andrea S.

Yelp
What a delicious "hole in the wall" Mexican spot. It's a tiny spot but in a really cool building with a nice little outdoor area. We decided to eat outside since the weather was so nice. All the wait staff were super nice and attentive. They also taught our little one how to say hola which was super sweet of them to interact with her! The food hit the spot and their margaritas were nice and strong! We'll for sure be back because of the kind staff, tasty food, and great prices!

Anna B.

Yelp
We visit Denver often these days to visit family so we have eaten here at least four times since my last review. I guess because this is a family run spot the food and service never miss. Everything is consistently delicious!!! We will keep coming back for that yummy green sauce and house made salsa!!

Bry M.

Yelp
Awesome little neighborhood Mexican restaurant! They serve good margaritas, and a good variety of both American and Mexican beers! Service was very friendly kids staff making jokes about the 1970s model TV. They have still mounted above the register. Will definitely be back!!!!!

Keysha D.

Yelp
Amazing authentic food!!! Best place in denver for Mexican food in my opinion. The service was genuine and very efficient. We sat outside and it was so nice. They have inside to not very big but very homey.

Dana W.

Yelp
Yes, yes, and YES!!!! I drive by here all the time and never stop and I'm so glad I did. The best way to describe its authenticity is that you're in someone's kitchen and they are cooking for you. Love love love them!! 500 stars!!

John M.

Yelp
This place is fantastic. Food was so good. The green chili is so tasty. It's a small local place and I will be back!

Adam D.

Yelp
Strolled by here a few days ago, while discovering our new neighborhood. Decided to come back and try it out after it was recommended by someone living across the street. Really love the quaint interior with very authentic feel. The service was satisfactory without complaints. We ordered a couple of margaritas, which were fine. The menu is full of authentic entrees, but I decided on the Shredded Beef Chimichanga. I actually enjoyed it thoroughly. The meat was super tender and flavorful with the shell nice and crispy. It doesn't come with any sides, but that didn't matter, the thing was giant, satisfying my generous appetite. I think the best thing about this place is the combination of delicious food and the value they offer. I don't recall spending less than $50 with tip for two entrees and two drinks anywhere in recent times.

Janet D.

Yelp
Five for the location. Three for my dish Steak Ranchero. It boasted of chunks of meat. Nope. Tiny pieces maybe. Main thing is it lacked seasoning. The little tiny bowl that the "chunks" of steak came in was watered down -it was tasteless!! The tortilla had more flavor. The cuteness factor was 5. Totally! We had high hopes walking by the other day. So today we stopped by for early dinner. Their Frozen Strawberry Margarita was their saving grace. Service was polite and fast. Adam D liked his Chimichanga. Patio for those sunny days!

James H.

Yelp
Love this local restaurant. Good food at a reasonable price. We need more places like this in town.

Robert B.

Yelp
Best smothered burritos in town this olscecsets the standard for flavor. Not fancy not expensive it's just good. I was stoked it survived covid. But family ran. Cool patio for evening people watching. You'll get your food pretty fast and the Srvers don't make mistakes it's not like 22 different combos it's burritos tacos enchiladas rellenos and tamales. So yummy

Ernie C.

Yelp
#pleAsed...l enjoy eating, even though l am 150lbs. If l continue to eat here l'm sure LA Pasadita will will some weight on me.

Jordan W.

Yelp
Amazing salsa, homemade chips, delicious enchiladas with speedy service makes this somewhere I will come back to visit. The margs are tasty and a reasonable 7.95!

Michael P.

Yelp
Great Mexican food. I hadn't been there in several years. Forgot how good it is. Very authentic. Even the tamales are made in house. I'll be back more often. Tiny place but great food. Service was excellent and very reasonable. Will actually make the trip from Boulder to bring my wife back here.

Sally D.

Yelp
I love this place! It's so reasonably priced, and they have the best chili rellenos in town!

Craig Z.

Yelp
Bean and Pork Burrito was a fantastic value. The chunks of pork were just OK, but the flavors of everything really came together well, and it was a ton of food for the money. I asked them to add rice--not sure if that was an upcharge or not, but probably was, so I think it was about $9. But it was a lot of food. Tamale was OK. It has a little shredded pork in it, which was a nice touch. Not the most nuanced or robust flavors. Chile Relleno was pretty good, and I had it as carry out, which is challenging, especially in the winter. I bet there are some other gems on the menu, and would be interested in returning.

Tyler S.

Yelp
I have been here a handful of times and finally writing a review. This is one of the most affordable and delicious Mexican spots in town. I got the #4 (two enchiladas with rice and beans) I opted to get the ground beef as my protein choice. And I also ordered two Coronas over the course of my meal. My total was $22.95 a fantastic price in my opinion. Chips and salsa come free and they served my bottled Corona with a glass! Sorry for the lack of pictures. Every time I'm here I eat my food far too fast to remember to take a photo! The staff is always friendly and the food comes out incredibly quick. The only thing stopping this from being a 5 star review is that their house margarita is pre mixed and not made in house. As a margarita enthusiast, store bought margarita mix is the worst! Overall great staff, service, food, and price point!

Olivia B.

Yelp
Extremely delicious, kind service, and affordable - we both really enjoyed our meals. The salsa is delicious with a nice heat. The green chili was phenomenal - a must try here!

Joseph B.

Yelp
I was disappointed. Service was not up to par. Order was wrong, and the food had little portions. The chips were over salted. So much that you could see clumps of white. Normally the food is good.

Mojos G.

Yelp
Don't eat the chips if you're a vegetarian, they are fried in lard which is disappointing. However the enchiladas are pretty good! Vegetarians can't have the rice or beans so order by themselves. Pretty good if craving enchiladas!

Heather T.

Yelp
This is a cute little space that feels like a throw back to at least a couple decades ago. I came at 11:30 a.m. and the restaurant was over half full already. The chips and salsa arrived almost as soon as I sat down which I love. The chips were the perfect amount of salty and the salsa had just a hint of heat to it. I had pre-looked at the menu and knew I wanted the soft chili relleno plate that came with beans and rice. I also ordered an enchilada and tamale plate to go for my husband and a co-worker. The rellenos came out quite quickly and I dove right in. The beans and rice were delicious and I scooped them up with the chips. The rellenos themselves tasted a bit like there was lard or some other pork nuance; I might be mis-identifying the flavor but it wasn't typical for rellenos I've had before. The cheese was also not as hot as I typically like it but overall these were decent rellenos and filled me up. Service was quick and friendly and this is a great neighborhood option.

Yelp
The best fajitas I have had in Colorado! The prices are reasonable and the service is Good! You only get one more round of chips and salsa, just FYI. There are only 11 tables, so not ideal for groups.

Dave K.

Yelp
Best Mexican food I've ever had (including restaurants in New Mexico). The fajitas were amazing. Being "authentic" they didn't come with lettuce and cheese, I had to ask for that, but they were delicious with and without. Even the free salsa was the best I've ever had, they make it in-house, and I plan on asking to buy a couple jars next time I go in.

Jeannette C.

Yelp
OK, people, you can still get dinner for under 10 dollars here! The price is not a reflection of quality, which is great. This place is the winner for neighborhoid Mexican joint. Chips: Typical thin restaurant chips. Salsa: Perfect flavor and heat, even though it is a little thin. Green chili: Now tied for number one in town. Beans and rice are both delicious enough that I'd be pretty content with that and a few tortillas. They do a crunchy taco from a house made shell made from a real tortilla. Tasty. Enciladas are delish, in red chili or green. The tamale plate with green salsa is my favorite dish right now. You can enjoy a cold beer or a margarita with your meal, but that's it for booze. The place is tiny. Can maybe host 20 total diners at a time. The decor is dated and casual, but there are linen napkins and tablecloths.

Joanna F.

Yelp
Portions were big for the price. I got the chicken chimichanga and the guacamole was a nice touch. They also provide free chip and salsa

Renilda P.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing authentic. We will definitely be returning. Service was fantastic and we had a very nice dinner. Love that it is a Mom and Pop place.

Mics R.

Yelp
Have been going to La Pasadita for almost ten years and it is definitely my favorite neighborhood Mexican food. The chips are always warm and salsa is fresh. The chile rellenos are my go-to but everything friends have ordered has been great. The service is always friendly and makes me want to come back and support their restaurant. That and the final bill for four people dinner and margs, shocks me every time. Cheaper than four drinks, in the trendy 'Uptown' neighborhood, across the street! This place is a hidden gem and I would imagine the small space inside has made COVID restrictions especially rough. Order takeout or sit on the patio in nice weather/with a nice big coat. Just give them the love they deserve.

Cait Z.

Yelp
This is a great find in Denver. Super approachable, relaxed, and delicious food. The best part is how affordable they are. I love to split nachos over margs, usually comes out to be $12 per person. Outdoor seating in the shade, perfect for the summer

Nat S.

Yelp
I have been coming here a couple years now. The food is always delicious. My favorites are the taco shredded beef, chicken or beef enchiladas, the tamales. My partner got a chimi last time and it was solid. With all the gentrification in Denver this is a shining gem, of a local family owned business. The green chile is actually green!!!!!! The tacos are Denver style and fried to order, dripping with beefy goodness, not in a gross oily way. If you come in and sit they deliver complimentary chips and salsa. It does get busy here, and they deserve that. If you are looking for authentic Mexican right in Denver, try out the Pasadita Inn, closed on Sundays. Not sure about this being a vegetarian friendly restaurant, but why does every restaurant have to cater to everyone? That would be like expecting City O city to have real bacon.

Sasha M.

Yelp
I got a chicken chimichanga and it was delicious! good service, really authentic

Day D.

Yelp
One of those small business gems that should be protected at all cost! Delicious and consistent food (this coming from a native Texan). And affordable prices! My go to for cheese enchiladas and bean tostadas!

Lisa K.

Yelp
Awesome little neighborhood hole in the wall. Spicy salsa, green chile - that is actually green in color, tamales and more. The home made taco shell steps up a simple taco to an awesome taco. Service is quick, efficient and often no frills...this is not a bad thing. It's tiny inside, but that's part of the charm. And there's a patio in the summer.

Ethan H.

Yelp
Hate giving away a hidden gem, but this place is great. Big Bang for your buck. Food is great. Also, who doesn't love Free salsa and chips?! Quiet little restaurant but overall great Mexican food!

Daniel H.

Yelp
Chile relleno plate is awesome, fast, and fairly priced! Had my second visit here today and I love it even more. The complementary chips and salsa are perfect, with a little kick. I got 2 chile rellenos, crispy and a tamale all a la carte. All were smothered in green chili and total about 11$. Delicious. The service is good and quick. I was in, ordered, ate, and out in ~20 minutes.

Kenneth C.

Yelp
Everything you want in a casual Mexican joint! Amazing tamales, great service, unique corner location. My girlfriend and I love this place

Allison B.

Yelp
The Salsa was INCREDIBLE. It was very fresh and flavorful with the right amount of spice. I feel like a good salsa will literally make or break an experience, it definitely made this one! I do have to say that my quesadilla, rice, and tamale were on point too. My gf who lived in Mexico for some time said this was the best tamale she's had in awhile!

Niki K.

Yelp
The place is small and was practically empty when we walked in. I was skeptical. I ordered the La Pasadita Chimichanga with Chicken. It came smothered in cheese and green chili. I was not disappointed. It was delicious and fried to perfection! I can't wait to try more.

Steve S.

Yelp
This a is gem. Small family owned and operated. Great Mexican food always fresh. Our go to always

D R.

Yelp
Very Disappointed... It all started with the overly salted thin chips and watered down salsa. The stuffed sopapilla was two tough pieces of some kind of bread with limited filing, covered with lame green chili. The service was non-existing and angry. On top of it all the portions were kids meal sized. There are so many better Mexican restaurants in Denver.

Robin G.

Yelp
Used google to find this restaurant and so happy we came here. The food was great and the service was even better. Parking is limited but worth the short walk. I will definitely be back.

Raina E.

Yelp
The food is incredible cooked in front of you by an amazing chef! I am so impressed haven't tried anything I don't like! I highly recommend. :)

Carlos C.

Yelp
best Mexican Food in Denver, great and friendly service and always the same delicious food never changes. My wife and I love the place and travel across town to visit.

Kristin D.

Yelp
Highly recommend for delicious authentic Mexican food. I will definitely be back soon!

Chris R.

Yelp
Great food and great service. You might overlook this spot based on appearance only.

Jeanne J.

Yelp
This place is by far my favorite in Denver. I've never been disappointed It's always hot and fresh and delicious. It has been 3 years since my last review. It is still the best deal in town. I get the #7 combo .. chili relleno , beef taco with house made shell and rice and beans . All for around $10 . Their chips and salsa are excellent! Just can't say enough good things about this place !!

Little F.

Yelp
When I moved to CO from Cali i was trying to find authentic Mexican food. Unfortunately it took me two years to find most amazing authentic delusions food at La Pasadita Inn.. it's on 20th near Safeway. "Uptown Denver" it's messy, greasy (not in a gross way) the sauces they use are to die for. I'm obsessed and I'll continue to ugly eat licking my hands in public because I don't want to mess a drop. You can actually feel the love in every bite. Ordering them now.

Kimberly I.

Yelp
This place is perfection when it comes to hole in the wall, traditional, Mexican food. There is something to be said for thick yet soupy refried beans, flat little pancake-like cheese enchiladas loaded with sauce and covered in tomatoes, lettuce, and cheese. That is what keeps you warm on a cold day, keeps your hangover away, or hits the spot when you are just craving a meal that will run all over your plate and make a beautiful mess of deliciousness. One thing you must try here is their queso. It is literally hot cheese with spices, so you have to eat it quick because it isn't like other queso that stays runny. It will solidify as it cools down so eat it while it's hot! As stated above, I am a big fan of the simple and tasty cheese enchilada. That is what I got. It is served with beans and rice and I had it paired with a chili relleno as well which was perfect. The only not-so-perfect thing about this place is the lack of parking. That is all of downtown though, so park in the neighborhood and walk off some calories before you consumer a few more. This place is worth the jaunt and it is easily one of my favorite in the neighborhood.

Kimyana L.

Yelp
Omg how have I NOT reviewed this place yet???? Best secret in Denver proper. Off the bat, you would miss the building if you didn't know it was there. Off of Park Ave, it's a tiny triangle. Parking in the immediate area of the building is tricky but there's a bunch of parking across the street from it in the Safeway complex. AMAZING FOOD. The seating is limited, this is definitely a one-location restaurant, and they put as any tables in as possible for seating. There's a small patio for seating too in better weather conditions. The interior is decorated with Mexican artifacts, it has the old school glass tile windows on one side, it's charming. I think the carpet is green bc all I can think of is green when I think of the inside. Tortilla chips and salsa are addictive, beware if you plan on eating a proper dinner. The salsa is zesty and the chips are freshly made. So so good! When I go, I get the crispy chili rellano and taco combo. The taco is crispy but also HIGHLY ADDICTIVE. It has the quality of a homemade taco but way better. The beef is so well seasoned, and the toppings are fresh. Great cheese:lettuce:taco meat ratio! Then there's the chili rellano... this is the best I've had in Denver so far, perfectly crispy, the cheese game is in full affect (meaning it's so cheesy, melty, and great)... their green chili is awesome... I gladly will eat it (and I HATE COLORADO GREEN CHILI but that's a story for another time...). It kind of mixes on the plate with the Spanish rice and beans... a big old mess... which you receive piping hot and is gone all too quickly. For the chili rellano alone I would say ABSOLUTELY GO. Super good food, that leaves you and your tummy happy. 20/10 I should have already gone again!
