LOVED wonderful bread and their atmosphere! Their staff was nice too. It was a nice experience to visit their bakery in the morning. Their chocolate croissant had beautiful layers. And I like that their bread was not crazy sweet. I want to go back to this nice bakery again.

I have to say, the customer service here is absolutely top-notch. This was my first visit to La Pâtisserie Chouquette, and I was completely blown away by the experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt transported to another place—like I had walked straight into a charming bakery in France. The interior is stunning, with an atmosphere that is both warm and elegant, and every detail is thoughtfully curated. The energy in the air was incredible. Even though the line was long, the excitement and camaraderie among the customers made it enjoyable. Everyone was so cordial and happy to be there, which told me I was in the right spot. Conversations flowed easily, and I could feel the shared enthusiasm for the amazing bakery items being crafted behind the counter. While waiting in line, I decided to try one of their potato loaves, and it became a fun moment of connection with those around me. The woman to my right ordered one as well, inspired by my choice, and the lady at the register to my left added it to her order at the last moment. It was such a unique and delightful experience that perfectly reflects the welcoming and communal vibe of this bakery. As for the food—it is simply incredible. Everything tastes so fresh, natural, and thoughtfully made. It’s the kind of food that not only satisfies but also feels good for your body and soul. La Pâtisserie Chouquette is truly a gem, and I can’t wait to come back for more.

Walked in and thought I was in Europe someplace plush! The sweet aroma hijacked all my senses. I love when desserts are beautiful and delicious. The richness of the ingredients can be tasted individually. The butter, the Bourbon, and the pecans. My goodness, what a treat! Definitely a place to satisfy any sweet tooth. Well worth the cavity!

I was invited to a tea party with my friend and her family. I have been here before, but the experience was even better. They moved locations and they improved the atmosphere even more. The selection of tea, sandwiches and pastries was great. The service was friendly and attentive. I would definitely visit again.

I fell in love with this gorgeous coffee/ pastry shop instantly the moment I walked through the door. Service was friendly and inviting. They have a wonderful Asian drinks list that I wished I could try them all at once. During this visit, we got the Mille crepe slice cookie butter, bourbon bun, Vietnamese iced cold brew and their summer drink - mango passion fruit tea. I was happy with everything. It’s such a fantastic place to catch up with friends/ family on a weekend after visiting Botanical garden or Tower Grove Park. They are serving some unique desserts to celebrate Japanese Festival this Saturday, please stop by if you want to try the refreshing Rain drop cake, their version of Japanese sweet potatoes, or honey butter toast. Also, they will have something new and exciting in October if you miss this weekend.

Google
This has been saved in my "places to go" tab and today I finally got to try it out! I came with several family members which was good because we were able to sample each other's items. Everything I had was delicious!! The quiche was unlike any quiche I have ever had. It was almost custard-like and absolutely yum! I dined-in but also brought items home and everything transported nicely. I will definitely be back to try more menu items!

Google
La Patisserie Chouquette is an absolute gem! The staff (especially Amanda and Amy) are so friendly and happy to answer questions. They have a delightful drink menu 😋 (with my favorite being the Vietnamese iced coffee or the Dalgona). During spooky season, the entire place is decorated in Harry Potter themed decor with matching snacks and the Expresso Patronum (hard to describe but amazingly tasty drink). For the rest of the year, the cozy upscale vibes are delightful, and the sweet treats are phenomenal. Macarons sell out early!! So arrive close to opening if you want a good selection. They also offer brunch (I haven't attended, but it looks lovely), and I believe reservations are required.

The pastries were absolutely amazing! We had the Pain au chocolat and the Ferraro roche cream puff with the Thai tea. Fantastic and very helpful staff as well.

Yelp
I truly wish I lived closer to La Patisserie Chouquette because everything I tried here was so scrumptious. We came around noon and they were already sold out of the Darkness (triple chocolate pastry) but we did try the butter croissant, pain au chocolate, pomme et fromage galette (apple pastry), bacon cheddar corn muffin, frangipane tart slice (pear), dark chocolate salted caramel tart, and the seasonal pumpkin spice cream puff. The cream puff filling is more thick and creamy like pumpkin puree. The most unique and my favorite pastry of these were the bacon cheddar corn muffins. The staff told us that they usually do not make multiple batches even if they sell out, but they make an exception for these muffins. I can see why, because each bite is full of savory bacon and sweet buttery goodness! I got 3 and had trouble saving some for the rest of my family because they were so addicting. I also loved the dark chocolate salted caramel tart which was decadent but not too sweet. I would love to return to try the Darkness pastry next time!

Yelp
Everything I come here, I get at LEAST 5 different pastries. And they are all worth it every single time. They are decadent and rich but worth every, single calorie. The line moves quick, mostly. And the service is always patient and personal. I love coming here and trying whatever they have in the pastry case.

Yelp
*Chefs kiss. That should be enough to know this place is down right good. My sister bought me some cake to try. Holy macaroni delicious. My favorite was the seasonal pumpkin butterbeer seasonal flavor. Can you blame a girl? Don't sleep on support local but new Orleans flared deliciousness. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Amazing croissants! Triple chocolate croissant and buttery croissants are ! Definitely be back to try the tiramisu brownies and macaroons.

Yelp
Returned for Pottermonth again this year -- so fun! Got the Beauxbaton mousse which was beautiful, vividly blue on the inside with purple filling and incredibly delicious!!! The cookie bottom was buttery and very good without being too sweet. I also got the Umbridge pastry (which was very aesthetically pleasing with a pink bow). Not sure I was a fan of the cream filling in the Umbridge one. But Beauxbaton's yummy!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is the real deal! I got the prepackaged chocolate cookies and a pan au chocolate (aka chocolate croissant) and both did not disappoint. The cookies had a hint of salt and were quite good. The pan au chocolate was airy and delicious. It's also a pro that the staff is friendly too! I would definitely recommend this place! (The only con is the limited street parking)

Yelp
Enjoyed most of my choices except the Aunt Petunias crepe cake (blackberry pistachio) mostly because of the texture but not sure if I really picked up on the blackberry flavor. The green caramel apple mousse cake was delicious, moist, light and both the mousse and filling were delicious. The pain au chocolate was one of the best croissants I've had, I just wish the chocolate was melted a little more. The Earl Grey and Honey Lavender macarons were absolutely amazing and I want more!! I went on a Saturday and it was very busy. You get in line and once at the counter, you tell the associate what you would like. They had a variety of items from savory to sweet. The inside definitely gave French bakery, shades of black and pink; dainty. There was lots of tea time going on which I thought was very cute and if I had more time in the city would have loved to do it. They also offer some outside seating.

Yelp
Located minutes from Missouri Botanical Garden, La Patisserie Chouquette impressed me with delicious French pastry and stunning ambience. At our visit on a Saturday afternoon, there are plenty of pastry and cookies options. The servers were patient in explaining various pastry options to us. During our visit, we ordered the 1) Flaminche tart ($6.5), that is savory with cheese and sausage; and 2) Pistachio/ Walnut Baklava cheesecake ($8) that is rich with decomposed baklava, pistachio and walnut. Both are delicious. Both are on the expensive side -- though our experience is great. One downside we wanted to point out, is Chouquette does not offer tea. We felt this could be something they could easily work into the menu. With St Louis' limited bakery options, I feel Chouquette is at the top of my list regardless of shortcomings.

Yelp
A piece of France, in St Louis? Oui! La Patisserie Chouquette is a delight! Offering several coffee options, and an endless assortment of baked goods. Everything looked so amazingly delicious it was hard to decide! More reason to go back though. The tomato cheese tart, and tiramisu brownie were incredible. As were the dalgona coffee, and vietnamese cold brew we ordered. The staff was incredibly friendly as well. It is a bit odd though they don't allow use of the tables inside reserved for later in the day afternoon tea reservations. Seating is therefore super scarce, with just a few tables available outside.

Yelp
The store is pretty and clearly was thought out to be comfortable and a place to sit and a quick snack. The ladies working there were helpful and described each thing that we had questions about. After ordering at the counter, you are handed your baked goods and then wait for them to prepare your drinks at a window in the corner. Drinks came out fairly quickly and were tasty. We got 3 different baked goods and only thought 1 was really good. The strawberry croissant was tasty and the filling was light and tasty. The blackberry cheese cake dessert with bourbon sauce was a bit odd, with a bunch of different flavors fighting and none really winning. The tiramisu brownie was the biggest disappointment of the 3. The bottom layer was basically a dry chocolate cake instead of a brownie, and the top didn't have the taste or consistency of tiramisu. It would be better to call it a smore cake, as that would match better. My wife and daughter both told me that this was a fluke, so maybe I'll have an updated review in the future.

Yelp
Over the years, I have to give La Patisserie 5 stars. I've visited many times and am always pleased and impressed with my selections. Macarons in general are not my favorite, but if you like them they do them very well here. Occasionally I've tried things that weren't spectacular but that isn't the norm--I am always so excited when I get to treat myself to this sweet French bakery, and it's my personal preference over Nathaniel Reid. I especially love the Darkness and other croissants, the bourbon pecan buns, the cream puffs, and the variety of tarts, in addition to other seasonal treats. My only wish is that they had an espresso bar, not just specialty coffee/boba. But AO&Co Market across the street has exceptional coffee and a nice patio to enjoy the treats with your coffee if the few tables are taken inside La Patisserie!

Yelp
Looking for the perfect start to your day? Gotta go to La Patisserie Chouquette and grab a creative coffee and INCREDIBLE pastry! We often venture to Tower Grove, especially on lazy Saturday mornings, but we can't be in the area without stopping by La Patisserie. I've tried quite a few offerings, but my personal fav has to be The Darkness. A chocolate croissant filled with chocolate AND covered in chocolate. As a chocoholic, this is my dream dessert! Megan LOVES the macarons and gets several every time we go, as they often change their flavors. The decor/vibe is very pretty, with a French flair. The staff is super nice and attentive, even when the shop starts to fill up with hungry guests. They also offer beautiful cakes you can order online. Parking can be a little tricky, but once you get in line and see all the unusual and beautiful desserts, you'll be in heaven. Also, they offer some really really good savory pastry options as well, and the menu changes regularly.

Yelp
What a gem in town! We waited in a long line - totally worth waiting. I recommend placing online order at 8 am and pick up when they open at 9am til they close. Still need to wait in the line for pickup orders though. This month is their Harry Potter month and they have themed goodies from meat pies to Mandrake pots! I was able to try some of them and everything was delicious, all handcrafted. My faves are lemon cream puff, tiramisu brownie, meat pie, almond croissant, pain au chocolat! They also have coffee and other drinks. I am excited to reserve a tea party, this place looks fun!

Yelp
Had some takeout pastries and goodies from La Patisserie Chouquette. We had 2 macarons and a slice of a mango crepe cake. 1 macaron was a sesame and the other chocolate. Both macarons were perfectly textured: light, airy, and had a nice, soft crispiness with each bite. The sesame was my favorite. It had a certain sweetness that complemented the nuttiness of the sesame quite well. The chocolate was similar. The filling was a bit heavier which I enjoyed. The chocolate filling was rich and decadent. But, not overpowering. The crepe cake we were not super impressed with. The texture is something that will not be for everyone. It was not super sweet, and therefore, lacked some flavor. It was supposed to be mango/raspberry, but neither fruit had a strong flavor. The presentation was wonderful. Overall, the macarons were the star of the show. But, my experience did not knock my socks off. Certainly good dessert, do not get me wrong. I think I will need to go back and discover some of their other offerings

Yelp
Need a coffee and something sweet with two fun friends? La Patisserie is the spot. Stand in the line! It's worth it and it goes fast! This spot is a fantastic pastry spot! They have savory and sweet! The attention to detail is incredible! The aesthetic is beautiful! Make sure you try to grab a table, sit and watch how happy people are choosing their pastries! This is a treat to STL!

Alicia S.

Yelp
GO FOR: Croissants (incredible, amazing, skillfully made,) Dalgona Coffee (Unreal), Fantastic customer service, Cute aesthetic, variety of beautiful looking desserts. Skip: The Tiramasu brownie -- was shocked when I had this considering it's a staff favorite. Very dry bottom cake that doesn't really resemble a brownie at all. The bacon cheddar muffin -- coated in a sickly sweet glaze with very little savory flavor, couldnt finish it.

Yelp
Simply amazing! You can't go wrong with anything you select from this place. Get there as soon as they open though! They generate a lot of business and sell out of items fairly quick. The shop is cute and workers are friendly! Not a ton of sitting room but they box everything up to go.
google avatar

Yelp
I absolutely love coming to this establishments whenever I'm in the area. If you get there early enough, they have a full wide range of pastries and you can't go wrong and I know what you get. Always get the chef survival coffee with light ice so I get more of the beverage. Sometimes they are heavy with the ice. They are a little expensive but if you plan for it, it's worth the trip! They are also extremely nice and friendly and give you recommendations based on what you prefer.

Yelp
We came here on a whim to get croissants because we were craving something sweet this particular day. We walked in and found the overall ambience to be quite nice. It was pretty full on a Saturday afternoon, but that wasn't an issue because we were planning to take our food to go. We ordered the pecan pie croissant and chocolate croissant. The star of the show was definitely the pecan pie croissant. The layers were extremely flaky, and the buttercream on top was so rich and decadent (but not rich to the point where it would make you feel sick). It had a perfect crunch with a sweet cream filling that perfectly contrasted with the texture of the croissant. In additional, this was a big croissant that could be split between two people easily. Only thing bad about it was it's most likely a seasonal item during Thanksgiving time (I think). If it were to be available year-round, I would probably go every day. On the other hand, the chocolate croissant was not up to par. The layers were not as prominent, and it actually felt a little bit underbaked on the inside. This was the case even though we had put it in the air fryer for about 30 seconds to make the outside crisp and warm again. Overall, 4.5/5 stars just for the pecan pie croissant. If their other specialty croissants are as good as that one, then this place is a truly a star bakery.
google avatar

Sandra K.

Yelp
I didn't love these two items but they were still good if these are the flavors you are looking for if that makes any sense. Always good quality and well made items here.

Yelp
Cute little bakery spot! My mom and I came in for Afternoon Tea service for our first visit, although I have had pastries from here before. Our treats were served on a lovely tiered platter with a pot of Earl Grey. Of the savory treats, I liked the mini muffuletta and salmon bagel best. The quiche and shrimp po boy croissant were ok, but I found them to be a little on the bland side. As far as sweat treats go, the pecan scone was the star of the show! Texture was on point, slight crumble to the outside and soft texture on the inside. The food was tasty but the experience didn't really feel like a traditional afternoon tea. Tea options were very limited so do go expecting to read through any flavor notes. I will definitely be back for pastries but may stick tea shops for the full afternoon tea experience.

Richard G.

Yelp
Very Witchy this fall!! absolutely gorgeous inside with themed goodies, pastries and drinks to go with it.

Yelp
I have had this place on my list for over a year. I came here around Halloween so the theme was set to Harry Potter and my nerd heart was so happy. I do want to note that I've been here a number of times since and when I say get there early for their specials, I mean like EARLY! I've come here for two different specials/events and they've always sold out. But let me tell you it's worth the wait! The staff is always amazing and welcoming. I always look forward to coming in and seeing the yummy treats and being wonderfully greeted.
google avatar

Yelp
Pain au chocolat never missed! I live in North Chicago and we had a little trip to Missouri (St. Louis) for the 4th. Went on the 5th but it was sold out around 12pm. We we're advised to come back the next day but earlier since they get sold out pretty quickly. Came back today and I am so glad I got some take aways before heading back to Great Lakes. Dalgona coffee is really good too! The hubs love it. Everyone is so nice eventhough they have a long line. Place is really aesthetic, good for pictorials. Didn't got the chance to sit down and dine because we have a long drive ahead but would comeback in this cafe in a heartbeat whenever we have a chance!

Yelp
I feel very magical after visiting this cafe! For the month of October, they are selling Harry Potter related treats and drinks complete with fun decor. I have been here in the past and enjoyed their coffee drinks especially those with boba. This time around I got the espresso patronum and the howler pastry. The coffee was rich, had coffee jelly, and topped with a coffee foam. It was delicious! I loved the howler pastry as it tasted fresh and the little lip shaped chocolate on top was a fun surprise. The service was friendly and fast. Will definitely return!

Yelp
I had high expectations for this place. It's been on my list to go to for years! I've heard amazing things about their macarons. & I recently found out the head baker has been nominated for a 2023 James Beard award! Inside & outside of the bakery were very chic. The attitude of patrons inside of the bakery made it feel "stuffy." The staff were friendly but seemed to be more concerned about moving the line along (which is great except it was our first time). I watched what other people were purchasing & kind of made my purchases based off of that. It didn't feel like I had time to look at all of the items that were available. It felt like I needed to know what I wanted as soon as it was my turn. We purchased a buttered croissant which was good. It was flaky. Light & airy. Everything you'd want in a croissant, but it wasn't anything I'd go out of my way to get again. We also purchased strawberries & cream, cookies & cream, wedding cake, & a salted caramel macaron. This was the most disappointing part. It felt like cream to shell ratio was off. At the end of each macaron there was cream sliding out of the shells. Which would have been fine if the cream was yummy, but unfortunately it did not have flavor. No creamy notes, nothing. The shells themselves were dense & chewy (instead of a crispy eggshell like top). The shells had hints of flavor but not enough to make up for the fact that everything just seemed off. It definitely was not what I was expecting.
google avatar

Lauren T.

Yelp
Stopped here because I was on my way to the Missouri Botanical Garden. The almond croissant was just okay. (It would have been nice if they offered/could have warmed it up for me.) At $4+, I kind of expected something better tasting than the frozen ones that you get a Trader Joe's.
google avatar

Yelp
Gorgeous little bakery in the cutest neighborhood. Outside is darling- street parking only from what I saw. Stopped in to try the famous chocolate croissant as well as a macaroon and a slice of one of their cakes. Everything is made the same day and fresh- and you can certainly tell. They even have a selection of interesting drinks. Great spot to grab a pastry and go- they also have some seating inside if you wanted to hang. A few items on the wall you can grab and buy- things like packaged cookies, etc. Prices are reasonable and the people are so sweet. I will be back!
google avatar

Dzuy T.

Yelp
My first reaction walking in was how pretty the interior is (no picture, I know!) and cute the set up is. There's a window for baked goods and a little shop area for merchandise. All the baked goods were quite good and not too sweet. The pistachio strawberry tart had a good balance between sweetness and tart and a good creamy texture. However, I didn't like the dalgona coffee too much; it didn't have the frothy texture I expected from dalgona and was not as sweet as I would've liked.
google avatar

Rachel C.

Yelp
Went around noon on a Saturday- Most items were sold out. Got chocolate croissant which was good, lots of fluff (powdered sugar/chocolate drizzles) which made it hard to evaluate the quality of the croissant pastry itself. Cream puff was large but overpriced. Nice ambiance, a little dark inside.

Yelp
If you want to do something special for that special friend, daughter, mom, or anyone you love, don't sleep on La Patisserie Chouquette in South city. Cannot go wrong with any of the pastries. Superb service and friendly staff.

Yelp
I stopped into La Pâtisserie Chouquette, a chic French bakery, today to treat myself to a few birthday desserts. The ambiance in the shop was French modern, and there was a few people sitting inside chatting. I loved the back wall with scattered mirrors. I thought that it looked beautiful and really opened the smaller-sized space. The two people who helped me purchase my treats were nice; the overall service was good. I stopped in quickly, so I didn't get much time to speak to the people working but my short interaction was positive. I arrived close to closing time, so there was not a huge selection of treats. I hope to return closer to opening to get a better feel for the assortment of bakery items they offer. I ended up choosing two macarons, one chocolate and one topped with sesame seeds, and a Mille crêpe slice. I thought the macarons were tasty--they had a crisp, crunchy shell with a flavorful filling. However, I didn't find the flavors themselves to be anything special. The flavor was good, but nothing stood out to me. In terms of the Mille crêpe, I thought the texture was nice, along with the glazed raspberries on top. I am unsure of it's specific flavor because the label did not specify. After looking on their website, I believe it is the raspberry mango Millie crêpe. However, I am unsure. Either way, I was not able to discern any distinct flavor when trying the dessert. In addition, I think it lacked a bit of sweetness and tang from the raspberry. Overall, I do not think that I would purchase this again. I am very happy I was able to try La Pâtisserie Chouquette! I'm not sure at this point if I would recommend this French bakery, but I am hoping to return closer to opening time to have a wide variety of options to choose from. If you do go, I would get a macaron. I think those were overall solid.

Yelp
Get the cream puff. That's my insider tip lol. I picked up a variety of treats: almond croissant, lemon blueberry cream puff, Oreo cheesecake, a several macaroons, and while all were yummy, that cream puff was AMAZING. Obviously if you don't like custard filling, don't get it, but it was so flavorful & creamy (and fancy looking!) that I will absolutely return just for it. The macaroons were fun flavors - confetti cake with raspberry jam, pumpkin pie spice, strawberry chocolate, and cookies & cream. At just a couple dollars each, I decided to get a few and taste test. I love raspberry so the confetti was my favorite but they were all yummy and different from more traditional ones. The interior space is really cute and a great place to meet girlfriends or a date. They had a lot of boba tea and other drink offerings as well.

Yelp
Food Excellent. Especially the savory tier! Presentation was immaculate and the pastry chef was interactive! Service Great. "Tea will start shortly." Loved every minute of it and the staff was very attentive! Asked us if we enjoyed the pastries and if we would like a different tea blend. Ambiance Darling! Steps up a local pastry shop.

Yelp
Undoubtedly one of the best bakeries in St. Louis and it is owned by a Black Woman? Even more reason to support them. I've had their King Cake, macarons, Valentine's Day cake sampler (Madame Moret is a showstopper), Mille Crepe Cake, and several other items. They're all amazing. The Vietnamese coffee is also a must try! The service is incredible. All of the folks who work there are so kind. The ambiance is nice. I think there is room for improvement there, but overall it's nice. Parking in this part of town isn't too bad, but it's street parking. On Saturdays there is a flower truck across the street! I tend to treat myself to a little coffee, dessert, and a fresh bouquet of flowers.

Yelp
This is a gorgeous bakery! Everything that Simone and her team create is outstanding! My favorite item there is the tiramisu brownie. It is rich, delicious and decadent and I could eat 10 of them! Also, have to have "the darkness" a rich dark croissant covered in dar chocolate as well as being a flaky and delicious chocolate croissant. All of their macarons are perfectly delcious and so flavorful, and their crepe cakes are outstanding. I have had a variety of their tarts too and they are extraordinary. Definitely check out this bakery if you are in the area, The owner Simone has appeared on Food Netowrk numerous times and her bakery has been featured in media locally regionally and nationally so definitely need to check it out! They also have afternoon high tea here, but make sure you make reservations online in advanced! Not awalk in type of situation!

Yelp
The chef's survival coffee was so good, strong, and sweet enough! I never had boba in my coffee, so that was a nice twist. Ordered the lemon tart, roasted peach Bakewell, tiramisu brownie, cream puff. The tiramisu brownie wasn't too sweet like I thought it would. The lemon tart and the roasted peach bakewell were given away as a gift, I'm sure they enjoyed it. The cream puff didn't look like other cream puffs I have had before, but it was delish

Yelp
Quite a selection of desserts, and everything looks pretty good. We got a couple of drinks and pastries. The matcha latte was far too sweet for my taste. The pastries were all very delicious. Parking was very easy street parking. The inside looks quite fancy and nice which is probably why the desserts were as expensive as they were. (~$6-7 each)

Yelp
I have been here multiple times throughout the years and even had a customized cake for a friend's bridal shower (amazing btw), but it was my first time attending their afternoon tea in October, which is their Month of Magic. If any of you are Harry Potter fans, this is the place to go! Reservations for their afternoon tea sold out SO fast. Even if you don't have the chance to experience their tea time, they have plenty of other themed goods you can purchase at the store. Everything was absolutely delicious, and fun! I won't name everything that was on the menu, but some of my favorites were the quidditch quiche, chilled mandrake & tomato mousse, Hagrid's rock cakes and lemon cream, and chocolate frogs. The tea was spectacular as well! We tried three different ones, the peppermint tea, earl grey tea, and whiskey infused tea (don't think it was actually alcoholic though). All of the teas paired nicely with the desserts. There was a cute little photo op at the back of the store with wands as props to use. I'm not a huge HP nerd or anything but I totally geeked out! Their pastries and other baked goods are delicious year round, not just during their Month of Magic. I highly recommend!

Yelp
If you are craving a French croissant, La patisserie Choquette is the spot for you. They have several options from darkest croissant to almond croissants. The croissant layers were perfect. If you like dark chocolate, do try the darkness croissant. Their Bostock is delicious too. It's like a French toast with almonds and sugar. They are known for their macaroons as well. They have a monthly macaroon subscription box. I tried the chef's assortment which was really good. The flavors change regularly. They have a large selection of drinks from Vietnamese iced cold brew to Matcha Latte. They are currently celebrating The Month of magic all through October. If you are a Harry Potter fan, be sure to visit to check out their limited time wizarding menu complete with Butterbeer floats and chocolate snitches!

Yelp
If you haven't done a trip to this little bakery, you absolutely need to. Situated on possibly the best corner in town, it adds to the collection of restaurants and shops that are very clearly a labor of love. Although the baked goods are delicious and worth a visit anytime, you specifically need to check out the high tea. Honestly I'm unclear why Americans ever did away with this tradition. There is a perfect balance between savory and sweet items, multiple tea selections to choose from, and great service. This would be a great alternative to brunch or a fun thing to do on a date or when family comes to visit.

Yelp
Making a decision on which pastry to get was the hardest part. I got a strawberry pistachio tart that was amazing. I should have taken a photo, but I didn't waste any time digging in. I also had an iced Vietnamese coffee that was strong and excellent. I took a dark chocolate croissant home with me.

Yelp
Mardi Gras season was a perfect time to try out La Patisserie Chouquette! I went on Fat Tuesday to try some of the specials including the crawfish pies, Mardi Gras-inspired macaroons (Bourbon St. Praline, Bernice's Backyard Blackberry, and Bywater Banaana Foster), a traditional praline, the crawfish and andouille maque choux with creamy grits and the Iced Vietnamese Cold Brew. It was a long line but I enjoyed talking to the other patrons and listening to the curated sounds of New Orleans' brass bands. Everything was delicious, perfectly seasoned, or just the right amount of sweet! Happy to have finally tried this 2023 James Beard Outstanding Bakery semifinalist, La Patisserie Chouquette!

Yelp
Wonderful bakery close to other wonderful restaurants in Tower Grove. Recently went for a table service tea with a tasting menu so we could try more items at once. Everything was delicious! My husband even agreed to get up early to check out this bakery on another date as we live about 25 minutes away.

Yelp
Goodness, one of those places that on your list and you oss it all the time...I finally stopped! They didn't have the Blackout but the Chocolate Corrisant did not disappoint! Layers on layers on layers of flaky pastry stuffed with chocolate! Yes, yes and yes! Hummm maybe I should stop tomorrow...

Yelp
Omg. The macarons did not disappoint. I ordered a plethora of flavors at 8AM sharp on macaron day, and they were ready for pick up within an hour. Upon arrival, I was very pleased with the organization of the shop and speed with which my orders were found and I was back out the door! So many creative flavors and bright colors. We loved the churro, Vietnamese coffee, and cotton candy. How clever! I was most impressed with the flavors that had extras baked into the cookies like the cotton candy and cocoa/fruity pebbles! Love this little French gem. What a wonderful addition to STL!

Yelp
So excited to finally have tried this place and it did not disappoint! Everything from the pain au chocolat, macarons, to the tiramisu brownie are all out of this world! Everything was the perfect amount of sweetness, nothing was too much. So grateful to have this gem in St. Louis!

Yelp
My sister came into town just to check this spot out in October, I had NO idea it was literally right around the corner!!! They had a line for the Harry Potter theme, but they moved pretty quick. We got a bunch of different goodies - chocolate frogs, butter beer fudge, even the golden stitch! Everything we brought home was SO good. I also got one of there season Harry Potter themed drinks which was great. We got there late, so they didn't have many pastries left, but that's okay. I will ABSOLUTELY be making a reservation for tea and pastries one day! The ambiance was very welcoming and clean. The whole experience was great and I can't wait to go back.
