My ex partner and I visited this restaurant for our anniversary and it was absolutely an amazing experience. The staff was super kind and even brought out a dessert for us! Their margaritas were definitely salted on the rim as they are known for and the food was great as well! Definitely a must for a date night if you love Mexican food although a bit on the pricey side, it is 100% worth it to try it out.

Michelin star Mexican. I visited La Patrona restaurant twice this weekend, the reason, it’s absolutely fantastic, probably the most genuine Mexican restaurant in Australia. All the dishes perfectly executed, great presentation with balanced flavours and delicious taste. If you’re looking for ordinary tacos and burritos this isn’t the place for you. If however you want a culinary treat you need to head here, you’ll be missing out if you don’t, next time I’m in Brisbane I’m eating here.

La Patrona is the beat Mexican restaurant and experience we have tried ever. From the start, they always greet with the best smile and the attention from all waitresses is splendid. The restaurant has nice touches from Mexican culture which adds a nice touch to a wonderful experience. For the meal, we ordered traditional guacamole, which they prepared on the moment for you. Carne asada tacos are always our favourite, with tender meat and right amount of spicy. As they have a new menu, we tried the crispy tuna and it was wonderful. Finally, if you want a decadent dessert and a very traditional one for Mexico, tres leches cake never disappoints. Thanks for the big surprise, as we were celebrating a birthday and they came with a birthday song, Mexican hat and a birthday cake to join our celebration, that was a really nice touch. La Patrona is already in our top 3 restaurants in Brisbane.

The service was great. We ordered fish ceviche and enchiladas Ro jas. They were great. Well balanced and juicy. Portions were good, enough for 2 people. Though I was tempted by other dishes served from a nearby kitchen windrow. Definitely will come again.

We came here because of the reviews. Very friendly and excellent service. Loved the Birria Tacos and the Verde Margarita. Table size guacamole was great! Popcorn margarita was not my favorite it was very sweet but a fun cool idea. Definitely will come back before we head back to the States. You will not regret the decision to eat here.

I loved the atmosphere of this place and the option on the menu. We tried the ceviche, birria tacos & pork belly special tacos. I was hoping they would be a little bigger than they were, in general I’ve found the portions small for the price. It was great food tho. We got the lychee, passion fruit and mango margaritas that were absolutely amazing, also tried the popcorn and coconut which we didn’t like it, there was no coconut flavour and a lot of popcorn flavour which was not enjoyable to drink in our opinion. Overall great place, staff & food! But it would be great if the portions were bigger…

We had a thoroughly enjoyable meal and Margaritas at La Patrona the other night, service was excellent, the food was delicious as were the drinks. We were so full we barely had room for dessert so we shared that amongst the three of us and it was well worth it. Absolutely recommend this place. Thank you for a wonderful night!

I had the Barramundi, and it was really delicious. My friend had the prawns, and they were absolutely spectacular. We had the freshly made share guacamole as a starter. It was so refreshing and tasty, and they made it right at our table! We also tried the fish ceviche, and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was (I've never had it before). The service was great; they kept refilling our water glasses if they were low and were quite prompt with food and drinks. Please note, though, one bill at the end, so come with cash or a credit card and bank details for your friends.
