We had a very pleasant stay at La Paulowna. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. And .. they consider tall people by providing bigger ( and very comfy) beds. My partner is 2 meters so this was a pleasant surprise. The location is very lively, with a beautiful square with a big terras. It closes at a decent time so we had a good sleep. We had a room across the hotel which was perfect and quiet. The staff is very friendly. This was my second time here, and it is my go to place when staying in The Hague !

We had a wonderful couple of nights at this charming hotel, with excellent service from the owners. Our room looked over an attractive square, with trees in flower for our Spring visit. It was close to trams, with delicious food in the restaurant and we relaxed comfortably. A delightful finish to our holiday.

The location of this boutique hotel is excellent, otherwise I found it to be very average. Our room had a nice view over the small square which was lovely, the interior was cute but nothing special.|The carpet had stains and the bathroom was extremely dark, not possible to either shave or put on makeup and it was cold. We received one fresh towel from maintenance the following day.|The girls who served breakfast were inattentive, unfriendly and bored.|In my opinion La Paulowna is overpriced and I would not stay there again.

Really cute, warm, modern rooms— central to everything in The Hague, fantastic owners, amazing service — we’ve been here multiple times in the last ten years. Don’t be put off by the scary staircase! You’ll get help. And now they are just above a newish restaurant which is fabulous!!!! (Bayonne). Eat there at least once!!!!

This is a modern boutique hotel with comfortable furnishings, a great shower and nice options for drinks or a meal in the restaurant on the ground floor. I thought the bed was comfortable as I like a softer bed but my wife thought it was too soft. We had the spacious "Chocolate" room, though the bath in the middle of the room is a little odd. Staff was pleasant and we'd stay again if we have the chance.

1. Check-in/Check-out: 5/5||You actually enter the restaurant and are greeted by very friendly staff who will explain everything and will even give nice recommendations for navigating the city and show it on a map. ||2. Rooms(cleanliness, amenities, technology, etc.): 2/5||We had the bigger(est?) room and it was awesome! Very spatious, separate bedroom and a GREAT shower you don’t want to get out of. You open large windows and the whole square is in front of you.||No ability to cast phone to TV.||The biggest issues were the pillows. They were BAD. Not comfortable at all. ||3. On-premise restaurants: 4/5||We had a la carte breakfast here, and it was ok. ||4. Pool area: n/a||5. Service:5/5||Overall weighted score: 4.0 out of 5.0||Notes:||1)If you do need to park your car, go to Hilton, they have 24hr parking in their underground garage. Otherwise, street parking is hourly.||Would we come back? Yes if the pillows are upgraded.
