Chanel Outdoes Itself Again With Cruise-Themed Fashion Show
"For this collection, the Chanel team built a cruise ship aptly named “La Pausa,” after Coco Chanel’s summer villa on the French Riviera. If you've ever wondered what to pack for a cruise, these clothes will be your inspiration (if you love dressing for a theme as much as I do). Lagerfeld sent his crew of skippers and deckhands down the runway, showcasing quintessential French breton crewnecks and sailor trousers. The nautical theme rang throughout, with chic vertical and horizontal stripes taking over the runway, along with uniform-like sets and straw sun hats."
The art collection from the villa is in The Reves Collection at the Dallas Museum of Art. To visit the villa itself you need to have contacts with the Chanel foundation. There are photos of the interior when the villa was sold to the foundation in 2015 on the internet.

Like the name suggests, a decent place to stop for a drink or a bite to eat. Great views from the patio in back.
