We stopped by La Pecora Negra in search of a good pizza in Menton — and the signature of Mauro Colagreco was reason enough to give it a try. I’m glad we did, as the experience was excellent from start to finish. My Bufalina pizza was simply perfect: a rich, flavorful tomato sauce, high-quality ingredients, and that ideal crust — soft in the center with just the right crunch on the edges. We also shared an outstanding vitello tonnato: the veal was tender and the tuna sauce perfectly balanced. And to top it all off, a truly delicious tiramisu — creamy, light, and full of flavor. I’ve been disappointed by the Mirazur in the past, but this new place absolutely nailed it.
Bravo as well to the warm and attentive service — the staff were genuinely lovely.
