La PecoraNegra Menton

While visiting from California, we had a wonderful experience at La Pecora Nera. The charcuterie board paired with limoncello was an excellent choice — fresh, well-balanced, and full of flavor. The sea view made the experience truly memorable, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the moment. We also loved how the restaurant feels modern, clean, and stylish, which added to the comfort and overall atmosphere. A beautiful spot in Menton for great food and an unforgettable view. Highly recommended.

Too popular for its own good. We had reserved a table but ended up standing outside and then being placed on the nearest available empty table. The pizza is Neapolitan style but not as good as the 6 euro ones we have had in Naples. I’m sure the ingredients are good, but our trip from Nice plus two pizzas and two glasses of Prosecco ended up costing 100 euros. We had visions of what Rick Stein has done in Padstowe, with a high end fish restaurant, a mid range restaurant and a fish’n’chips cafe in the same village. Priced appropriately. This was nothing like that. Glad we tried it. Won’t be back.

This was the most delicious pizza of my life, after which I can’t enjoy eating any others. 🍕🍕😭😭 The Limoncello Spritz was also very pleasant to taste. 🍋🍹 The service was fast and friendly. A gorgeous and convenient spot on the Menton waterfront. I would gladly come back here again. Highly recommended! 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯

It cannot be a better experience - amazing pizza, starters, deserts, wine! Incredibly nice and professional staff - very welcoming and kind - worth getting to Menton from Cannes 😎😅 Thanks to Bashra and all the rest for this wonderful time 🥂

Soooo delicious and fresh ingredients!! Feels very authentic unlike some of the surrounding restaurants that look a bit tacky. We got the chefs burrata which rotates either seasonal ingredients, it had tomatoes and peaches that were to die for. And the pizza was ham, mushrooms, olives and it was just delicious! Would recommend

We stopped by La Pecora Negra in search of a good pizza in Menton — and the signature of Mauro Colagreco was reason enough to give it a try. I’m glad we did, as the experience was excellent from start to finish. My Bufalina pizza was simply perfect: a rich, flavorful tomato sauce, high-quality ingredients, and that ideal crust — soft in the center with just the right crunch on the edges. We also shared an outstanding vitello tonnato: the veal was tender and the tuna sauce perfectly balanced. And to top it all off, a truly delicious tiramisu — creamy, light, and full of flavor. I’ve been disappointed by the Mirazur in the past, but this new place absolutely nailed it. Bravo as well to the warm and attentive service — the staff were genuinely lovely.

Excellent pizza. Finely selected ingredients. Good value for money. Nice service and the terrace by the beachfront ensures a great atmosphere.

Loved the place. Fairly priced. Ingredients were fresh and excellent. Note that the pizza they offer are not super thin crust; not especially thick though but if this is what you are looking you might be disappointed. I personally loved it.
