La Perla by SEDAR La Perla

I have been staying at this hotel for two years during my vacations with my family, and my previous experiences were good. However, this time was disappointing. Unfortunately, the apartments were not clean as they should be, and dust was clearly present in several areas. It was not only under the bed, but also on top of the bed, as shown in the attached photo, where there was a visible dust cobweb, as well as inside the air conditioning vents. We contacted the staff and they only cleaned the visible areas, yet the dust remained. We booked two apartments, and both had the same cleanliness issue, which made our stay uncomfortable and below the standard we expected from a place we were used to staying at.

We stayed here for two days, my wife and I. The place was honestly luxurious, with a beautiful view — very clean, in a safe area, and close to everything. I honestly didn’t expect it to be this good. Many thanks to the host for their kindness and for letting us drop off our luggage two hours before check-in.

Very central location. Clean ,modern and fully equipted. Perfect for longer stays. The lady Carolina is very helpfull. On top of that in the same building there is the best gelateria in Como .

Their location is great The staff is great... Our Apartment's door has a minor malfunction but it produces voices of the lock which was problematic initially, later it was solved. Other point, you have to get trash can bags by yourself by the reception which was a new experience for me. The location is great. Parking is an issue.

Great location 5 minute walk alongside lake to centre of Como.|Apartment was spacious, clean, warm and quiet, with all amenities required start off your stay including shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, coffee and sugar sachets etc.|Bed was comfortable and slept well. No parking included, but public payable parking nearby so no problem.|Communication with La Perla was quick and informative.|Boat trip on lake, visit to Christmas market, cathedral and wine tasting, all in all a lovely quick weekend trip to Como and La Perla delivered as a great base out of the hustle and bustle of Como town but close enough to enjoy.

Loved the stay, Exceeded expectations and was perfect value for money. Room was extremely clean and very large and comes with a kitchen which includes a hob, oven, coffee machine, microwave, fridge/freezer and cutlery/plates. Would recommend the stay especially for solo and couples. Few negatives - On the last night the cleaners cleaned the room regardless of the Do Not Disturb sign. They also threw out half of my opened food which was in the fridge and i'm sure they helped themselves to one of my chocolate bars as there was one missing plus a "chocolate trail" around the room. Also I had a small issue with the grill setting on the oven tripping the fuse box which was an easy fix but there isnt always someone on the reception so had to wait till the usual reception times.

Beautiful apartment. I was not feeling well and my partner and I explained it to the lovely lady in the reception asked just for a place for a couple hours to stay in. Location is lovely, room view of the lake

This is a good value for a huge apartment will full amenities! It's more of an apartment than a traditional hotel because it has a full-size kitchen and living room in addition to a huge bedroom and bathroom. The building is new and modern on the inside and ideally located next to a grocery store in close to the ferry terminal and bus stops, as well as the Como San Giovanni trainstation. One of the unusual things is that there isn't an employee on-site after hours, but the lobby requires a special access code to get inside, and there are automated ways to get access to your room, plus 24/7 phone support.
