If you want to get a true local cuisine, then this is a place to go. Don't trust all grumpy reviews. You got to see and try it out. French people are always amazing with humor and hospitality. Recommending!

Traditional local kitchen and authentic recipes. Menu small but exactly what you will expect from place like this. Amazing and fresh cooked dish, high-quality ingredients.
Place cozy and nice.
Booking in advance recommended.

Great food, friendly service but charging full menu price even for little kids. That's a pity.

It is a true french bistro with limited but homemade food. We enjoyed the ambiente and simple but tasty local menu. And compared to the sometimes overpriced french restaurants it was worth every penny. You better reserve in advance. English is fine if your french is as limited as mine.

Better come hungry. The menu consists of hearty local fare: sausage, potatoes, cheese, and the like. Friendly service, generous portions, a nice location, and very fair prices. We had a great time.

What a great small place! Unfortunately my French skills are somewhat rusty and the owner was not very helpful with his translations too, nevertheless I think I could have ordered anything from the menu and it would have been delicious. We started with the home-made terrine, which was incredible. Further meals were Lasagne, Tortellini, Quenelles and the hot Ham in creamy sauce. All of them were perfectly prepared and super tasty, though nothing for people on diet. The very light red wine from the Jura region underscored the feast. Being full, we were not unhappy when the rather smaller portion of the creme brulee arrived.
The ambience is very nice and the music from the 60's fits to the uncomplicated and cozy atmosphere. We'll come again!
