My wife and I had a delicious dinner in a cozy environment with great service. Menu offered a nice selection of offerings professionally plated. Although not on the "by the glass" choices, I indicated my desire for a Sauternes wine to accompany the foie gras. Our waiter gladly obliged. Would definitely return!

If you want a 10/10 dinner in an upscale chalet atmosphere in Mt. Tremblant, this is your place. Yes its expensive but the food is amazing. We went with our three month old and everyone was very accommodating as well. We don't speak french and everyone was great with english as well. We got the smoked salmon, caesar salad and tomahawk steak and all were amazing. I highly recommend the Tomahawk which is absolutely huge and can easily be shared between 2-3 people. Id recommend and definitely go back.

Need more awareness to your dinner guest. Watched couple get frustrated and agitated waiting on getting their bill, while staffing spent way too long visiting with guests. I tapped him to let him know the guests wanted him. Nice dinner. Bonus with a vibrant rainbow. Salmon with orange mascarpone was excellent Duck was good, a little tough. Cod with chorizo was good but needs more heat. Plenty of parking.

This restaurant offers a truly pleasant dining experience with excellent service and a great atmosphere. The staff were attentive and the ambiance was wonderful, making for an enjoyable evening. However, one significant issue marred the culinary experience: the cauliflower cream was noticeably salty. While the staff offered an apology when this was brought to their attention, no further action was taken to rectify the situation, which was a bit disappointing. I would strongly recommend that the chef re-evaluates and reduces the amount of salt used in their dishes to ensure a more balanced and enjoyable flavor profile for all diners. Also on a side note the creme brûlée surag was so burnt that it was sower and not tasty at all. After what happened with the soup I just did not report it.

Google
Solid option if you are in Tremblant. We both had the Cod which was very good and savory. Food arrived hot and fairly quickly. The colliflower soup was very good but portion was on the smaller side. Our dessert was the pouding chommeur. It was ok but not great. Too much ice cream & the actual pouding portion was tiny. Was the weakest part of the supper. The waitress was ok, not rude or anything like that but was business like at best.

We chose La Petite Cachée to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary with something special. And “something special” is precisely what they delivered. The rustic décor was matched by warm lighting and a very friendly, engaging staff that greeted us upon our arrival. We had already decided to share the Tomahawk beef rib for two, which was an absolute treat to the senses. We paired this with a bottle of David Moreno Gran Reservation 2015, which o thought was a perfect match. The staff - all of them - were so kind, so helpful and willing to chat us up a little, it was the perfect seasoning to our culinary experience. I’m so glad we chose La Petite Cachée! We are coming back and we are telling our friends.

Google
We went here to celebrate our anniversary. They were so sweet. They wished us a happy anniversary when we arrived, put a candle in our dessert and seated us at a special romantic table. The food was really great and the service was excellent. Everything we ate was delicious and arrived promptly. Highly recommend.

Google
We went for my birthday and had a great time! The plates are beautiful a wonderful wine list you can tell the place is run by people with passion. Our service was just amazing. Nothing but good things to say about the place. Oh and the view of the mountain! 👌

Yelp
Celebrated our anniversary with the beef tomahawk for 2 and shared profiteroles and enjoyed every single morsel. Servers made in effort in English - greatly appreciated! For a same day reservation we had a cozy corner table.

Yelp
Lovely, cozy place and best food we had at Tremblant. Cocktails were very good too. Medium rare was pretty rare but we actually found this everywhere we ate up there and I'm sure if we'd asked they would have happily thrown it back in for a bit. I had the fish special and it was perfect. We are normal, regular old American tourists who don't speak French (but love good food and cocktails) and we were treated very nicely and had no trouble communicating with our excellent and friendly waiter who spoke English very well. Pace of service was leisurely but we weren't in a hurry.

Yelp
I made reservations for our first day arriving in mount tremblant. We were please with the food and the service was great. Portion is a bit small. Tables are very closed to each other. We love to eat and the portion of my duck was only 2 little pieces. Soup was a bit salty and salad is super small portion. I would have to order 2 main course for myself to be satisfied. Overall if I was paying over $200 for a meal, I should feel like it filled my tummy

Yelp
Dinner was so good. We had the cod and the steak. Both were cooked to perfection. Service was even better. Can't wait to go back the next time we are in Tremblant.

Yelp
Beautiful place inside and out, great food and service. The escargot was an intro to our friends who had never tried and they absolutely enjoyed it. A must try!

Yelp
Delicieux! The scallops are my favorite. excellent service. The desserts are also divine - the apple tart and crème brûlée! This is a great date night or fancy night out spot if on vacation in Tremblant.

Yelp
This place is awesome, only about a 5 minute drive from mount Tremblant where we stayed. The French onion soup was delicious to start with. The filet mignon was a good entree choice as well. Desserts are also fabulous ( i got the Apple tarte). Ambiance is dark and romantic, fire going in the middle of the room. Highly recommend!

Abbie S.

Yelp
This will go down as one of my favorite meals ever, not just in Tremblant. Our waiter (I wish we got his name) was phenomenal. Gave us great recommendations and was just the right amount of engaging. The restaurant itself was extremely cozy, wood interior and dim lighting with a running fireplace in the middle. If you are going to Tremblant - you should definitely stop here. We made a reservation a couple days in advance. Favorites: the old fashioned, scallop appetizer, cod main dish, key lime pie and creme brûlée for dessert. Absolute 10/10.

Yelp
One of the best meals we've had this year. Yawza! As a part of our family week in Tremblant, we wanted somewhere near our lodging that was classy, cozy and with great food. One person at the resort recommended La Petite Cachée and we were not disappointed, as a matter of fact, we were impressed with everything about it. One feature of restaurant dining in Mont Tremblant, especially during ski season, is that for anything other than a cafeteria, reservations are a must. With only six hours of anticipation, we were lucky to get a table for five at 5:30 PM, which turned out to be a blessing for many reasons, we were quite hungry, we were able to see the most gorgeous sunset over the mountain, and at about 6:00 PM the restaurant became a beehive of activity, so we got first class service with fewer guests.... La Petite Cachée is primarily Mediterranean faire in a quaint wood location that emanates rustic upscale. It is a gem of a place. Our waitress was elegant, friendly and totally knowledgeable of the menu and what to recommend. We had a great time practicing our limited French with her. We started with several appetizers, including the succulent Split Pea Soup, the Burratta with roasted tomato and sweet apple to share and the pear and arugula salad with roasted pecans, and French Onion Soup that was heavenly. All immaculately presented. Two bottles of good quality wine, both red and white, accompanied our appetizers. For our main courses, I chose the Sea plater with scallop, mussels, shrimp & cod on sourcrout style cabbage accompanied with tarragon white butter. This was scrumptious. My spouse ordered the Wild mushroom Mezzi Paccheri pasta with veal broth, lemon, parmesan and braised tomatoes and this was first class. Two orders of Hanger Steak and one Grilled Salmon completed our repertoire.... This was a fantastic dinner in every category and La Petite Cachée is on our return list for next year.....

Yelp
Outstanding food, service and ambiance. Attentive servers. Beautifully cooked food. We dine here each time we visit Tremblant.

Yelp
The ambience is adorable -- a little chalet tucked out of sight from the road. Service was attentive -- this was a weeknight. But the risotto and salmon were lacking in taste to the point I had to ask for salt. Very disappointed, especially when the plates are north of $40.

Donna C.

Yelp
We waited 2 hours to get our main courses. By then (10 pm) we were tired and couldn't enjoy our meals, which were fine. Everyone was very nice, but didn't seem to be anyone in charge.

Yelp
Very cute restaurant with a fancy, yet rustic vibe. The staff was all very friendly. Everyone greeted us with a smile and our waiter was very nice. Although his English wasn't great, he was very energetic and contagiously happy and checked in on us constantly to make sure everything was okay. Service was fast even though the restaurant was packed. The food was good, no complaints. But it was very expensive for the quality. Of course we understand that everything is expensive in this area, but that doesn't change it from factoring into the rating. The food was good, but nothing crazy. Overall, I would recommend this place, just be prepared to splurge a bit!

Yelp
Don't waste your time or money. We made reservations for my birthday dinner here and regret it. If you don't speak French, don't bother coming here. They will treat you like peasants. We arrived early and could tell this inconvenienced the staff to the point that they made us wait until our reservation time and sat us at the worst table in the restaurant. We watched people arrive 20 minutes late and they were seated right away at nice tables. The restaurant is severely understaffed and the wait staff hardly slowed down when passing our table. Food was just average. Needless to say, we were very disappointed and would not recommend coming here to anyone. We watched multiple other parties complain about the poor service as well. There are many other better options to choose from when visiting Mont Tremblant.

Gerry B.

Yelp
Delicious food and beautiful location. Staff and friendly and efficient. It was worth it before this new ownership took over and it is still Worth it!

Yelp
Absolutely terrible experience on Christmas due to appalling service. Several of the cocktails were undrinkable, and it took two hours to be served our overpriced meals. One person's meal was never delivered. We had small children in our party, who were made to sit for hours waiting on ridiculously slow service, and no one came to check for us or do anything about it. Our family Christmas dinner was ruined - we could never recommend this establishment.

Yelp
J'ai eu le plaisir d'etre invitee pour mon anniversaire en mars de 2022. Chaleureuse atmosphere et service *correct* L'assiette de petoncles est divine - servie chaude (important) La facture WOW mais c'etait fete. J'ose le recommander

Yelp
My husband and I were looking for a place for dinner on a Tuesday night. This is such a hidden gem! We did not want to eat in the village, it's super touristy and expensive. This place was amazing!! The restaurateur is super warm and cozy. The ambiance is soft and has a huge wine cellar. The fireplace adds to the warmth and you can see the mountain. Along with the decor, the service was amazing. Although we were the only people at the restaurant, our waitress went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Apps: I got the pear salad and a glass of a French red blend wine. The salad was so well dressed and balanced. The pears were ripe and went well with the pepperiness of the arugula. The dressing had a good amount of acidIty and creaminess. My husband had the French onion soup. It was rich and decadent. For entrees, we both got the lamb special with double vegetables. The lamb was cooked perfectly and was so tender. The vegetables were a nice mix of beets, mushrooms, asparagus. The sauce was rich and had a buttery quality to it. We added a bit of salt to really make the dish sing. Dessert, my husband got the sorbet. It was very flavorful for sorbet. I was hoping for a cheese plate, but they didn't have it. I was happy with my espresso. Hands down this is one of the best places in Mont Tremblant. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
A set of wonderful appetizers, followed by outstanding main dishes, accompanied by suitable wines: a most satisfying experience. As to the appetizers, the "ancestral tomato salad" stood out because of the "honey goat cheese mousse" surrounding the tomatoes. It is a gustatory experience non pareil. We were four of us, so I can also recommend the squash soup as a starter. The main courses, duck breast, locally fished halibut and salmon filets satisfied each diner so much that the waitress could only marvel at our blank plates... I can highly recommend the tarte a lime or key lime pie as a suitable desert. Finish the whole deal off with either of the two grappas and with an espresso -- un repas parfait. The ambience is enjoyable especially if one catches a window table. The owner helps with the service and chats with guests. The wait staff are efficient, competent and courteous but stretched too thin so there are some delays involved in the full meal on a Saturday night. The prices aren't cheap, but justified by the well-rounded experience.

Alex M.

Yelp
Wonderful dinner. Great atmosphere, service, and excellent food. Besides the diverse menu they have specials each day. Highly recommend it!

Yelp
This was our 4th visit to this restaurant. We go every year for our daughter's birthday. I don't know what's happened in the last year, but the service was terrible compared to previous visits. No mention of her 7th birthday (which was highlighted upon reservation), when in previous years she was presented with a candle on her dessert. Our server barely made eye contact; could not drop our meals off fast enough before rushing away. I sat for 30 minutes between courses with an empty wine glass. We were SO Disappointed and, sadly, will not be returning. The food is still pretty good, but for those prices we expect great service with grace and finesse. One last thing: we asked to have our childrens' leftover packed up to take home, and our server dumped both the salmon and mashed potatoes IN WITH the chicken fingers and fries in the same container.

Yelp
This place has most is it but not all! The ambiance, charm, great staff, were top notch however the food selection was limited and in the pricey side. Our server was very nice and did speak English bonus! We started with the seafood appetizer but the name is very deceiving because the only thin seafood was shrimp! The other 2 items were foie gras and steak tataki at $35.00 it was way over priced! Our 2 entrees were the salmon which was ok but not great and the Roasted Quail But it was a little dry finally we split an order of scallops and they were by far the best thing on the menu! No desert this time maybe next time
google avatar

Rachel M.

Yelp
Worth the drive if you're staying in the ski village. A nice wine selection as well as food choices. The sturgeon was a special and was outstanding. Wasn't too crazy about the lamb - it was more like a loin cut. We were a group of 13 and they had no problem accommodating us.

Yelp
Very lovely dining experience at LaPetite Cachee. Our waitress, Annie, added much; so cordial, helpful and knowledgeable. We had a special (Spanish Mackeral) and Tagine with cocktails and a bottle of wine. No room for dessert though! We recommend LaPetite Cachee while in Mont Tremblant!

Yelp
Found this place on yelp while on snowboarding trip in Mont Tremblant from NYC. The atmosphere is nice. We started by ordering 3 dishes of appetizers and main dishes for each of us. Our waitress is blonde, skinny and seems the oldest amongst the rest of waitresses. She asked what water we wanted, regular spring or sparkling water. My husband asked for regular water and for some reason she brought us 2 bottles of spring water but we just let it go. As we were finishing our appetizers, she came from behind trying to reach to one of the appetizers next to me and hit my shoulder then grabbed the plate away WITHOUT saying sorry nor asking if we were done with it. I started to feel her unfriendly manner here but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. During the dinner, we were pretty pleasant with food until I saw the waitress was serving water OVER my daughter's head who is sitting next to me. Her arm was literally touching my daughter's head and that got me pissed but my husband tried to calm me down once again. At the end of our dinner, when we got our check she came with the bill and the machine to swipe credit card. My husband wanted to put the amount for tip instead of percentage but she said he couldn't while telling him the tip normally is 15% to 18%. At that point, I couldn't stand her attitude no more so I said something back to her. She then pulled the machine out of my husband's hand and redid all the transaction so he could put the amount for tip. Before we left, I wrote down "BAD SERVICE" on the merchant slip to let her know we were not happy at all. I'm not sure why we were treated so badly but we all think they are probably just pure racist because we are the only Asian group in the restaurant.

Yelp
Excellent food, service and environment. Food really well prepared, good selection of wines and a the maitre Dominique was so nice and helpful! Highly recommended!!!!

Yelp
This restaurant is really nice. All the food was very fresh and delicious. I got the pan seared red snapper which was really yummy. It came with a beet puree, green beans, and quinoa. My father got the flank steak which he said was really good. Hope to be coming back!
google avatar

Yelp
Let me first start by saying that I only write excellent or horrible reviews. The food was good, but the service is HORRIBLE for a 4 $$$$ restaurant. The waitress Dominque was HORRIBLE. A 1 $ mom & pop restaurant has better service. She did not bother to ask if people finish the food before taking it away. Too lazy to switch hand or go around to serve water. Did not serve the desserts for the kids set meal and gave the check. Tells you how much to tip rather than leave it up to the patron. I came from NYC and seen all types of restaurants from 1 $ to 5 $ and know what is service and great food. Perhaps it maybe a one off due to the waitress, but seen other bad reviews due to bad services, maybe the owner(s) need to get better staffs to match foods.

Yelp
Great ambience, friendly efficient service and good tasty food. Our table was next to fireplace. For appetizer we shared salmon tartar with smoked paprika, followed by fish soup with leeks. For entrees we had chicken trilogy and grilled scallops. We really enjoy our dinner. Deserts were excellent as well. The restaurant has a seasonal menu with daily specials. We plan on going again. Went 2 more times and had been a little disappointed. My Bloody Caesar drink had wilted yellow celery, no straw, french onion soup was barely warm. Waitress was friendly but somewhat absentminded. I tried special entree of venison with mashed potatoes, vegetables. Venison was well prepared but very bland and mashed potato tasted strange. My husband's dish of smoked ribs was good. Initially, I rated this restaurant 5 star's but definitely taking one off.

Yelp
Getting away from Tremblant Resort and to Tremblant Village, there are a lot more restaurants in the village than the resort. This little place is tucked away from the main strip in it's own building. It has parking in the back and an entrance back there into the bottom level. The bottom level appears to be a bar, but it wasn't open when we went. One of the items on the menu is the Chicken Trio, in my preference order sesame chicken wings, chicken shepherd's pie, and chicken breast. This was decent, but quite expensive for what you get. The mussels special was delicious though. The wine sauce in light cream based broth was delicious with plenty of mussels. What they do have is a fair selection of wine including wine by the glass. I had the pinot grigio which went well with the mussels. Overall the service was quite good. She was super friendly, remembered everything by heart, and always was attentive. There appears to be quite a few other restaurants on the strip, while the food was decent it wasn't memorable enough for the price.

Yelp
This was our 3rd visit to this restaurant over the years. Glad to see their quality and service are still excellent. I tried fois gras after many years. Didn't like it the last time I had it but this time it was really nice!! I would definitely recommend it. I had the halibut as my main dish, which is my favorite fish, and it was prepared with excellence. The sauce was out of this world! At our table we also had the Cornish hen, ratatouille and tagliatelle dishes. All were excellent! Glad to see our favorite spot's still got it!
google avatar

Dominic M.

Yelp
Best restaurant we ate at Had the entrees fish Accra with fennel salad was tip notch. Had the Mediterranean squid again top notch The swordfish from the blackboard and seafood linguine were amazing as was the steak. The dessert log cake was a cut above. This is better that what I had in France.

Yelp
After a full day of skiing at Mont Tremblant, my friends and I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant nearby the mountain. The building is constructed as a log cabin in the heart of the Alps. This place is a real gem. The food is outstanding. The ambiance is enchanting. The downstairs bar is quaint with a very at home-like feel. While the food was a bit on the pricey side, it was well worth it. We had roast quail as an appetizer, and each tried one of the specials which included Bass, Rabbit, and Steak. On top of all this, the wine list is very impressive for such a tiny hideaway. Truly the name takes full meaning with the French word for hideaway put into it's name. This place is a MUST VISIT for anyone traveling to Mont Tremblant.

Yelp
Was there two days ago. Amazing experience. The food was delicious - definitely recommend the foie gras: it came with a generous portion. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

Yelp
Amazing flavours and service. Well worth the slight venture out of the village. You won't be disappointed!!

Logan L.

Yelp
If you're this far and reading this and thinking of going here, GO!!!! It was one of the best meals I've ever had. Had the duck tartare appetizer followed by the tagliatelle entree and lamb entree. Both were absolutely outstanding. Just when you think it's over, you get the key lime pie and you're doors are blown off yet again. 10/10 food and drink 10/10 service Also, the bread is out of this world!
google avatar

Mark S.

Yelp
Refreshing change from the restaurants in the village. La Petite Cachee is more authentic less touristy and less commercial. It's also more varied in terms of meal choices. It seems to have a following of usual customers, to which the staff cater to in a much more personal way than at the run of the mill places slope side. Prices are on par with the village but with much better/healthier and quality options.
google avatar

隆

Yelp
Excellent food with a hospital service. No sign of the restaurant does not prevent being found. The selection of foods is more like Californian without providing selection of Canadian wine. I would recommend to order meat as any fishery material would pose larger cost of supply.
google avatar

Joseph C.

Yelp
Our family of four had a delightful evening at La Petite Cachee! We called ahead to make reservations for a Friday evening, which was a good idea during ski season. The restaurant was busy but service was excellent, attentive and helpful; also bi-lingual which was helpful with our English. Very good wine selection, nice entrees and specials. We sat near the fireplace which added to the nice ambiance. I would say this is one of the premier restaurants in the area and we would definitely go back.
google avatar

Pat M.

Yelp
Food was outstanding. Hostess was a little abrupt, but I believe that was just a cultural impression. You should have reservations. We got there late on Saturday evening after a very long day of traveling and the place was packed. It was highly recommended by Eva from Embarc so we decided to wait it out. We were able to get a couple of seats in the bar. I had halibut and my wife had salmon. Both were good picks. Very well prepared and. Presented.
google avatar

Marla M.

Yelp
Everything in this quaint restaurant exceeded our expectations! The staff, the food, the ambiance, it was all perfect and beyond delectable! Would definitely come back. It truly is a small hidden gem in Mont Tremblant.
google avatar

Jennifer G.

Yelp
The reviews would lead you to think this is an absolutely top-notch place... it's good, but really wasn't great... the food is fresh and the service good, but we expected more given the reviews/stars and the prices. It's definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a European feel restaurant and dining experience though...

E P.

Yelp
It was really nice to take a break from the Tremblant Resort area and enjoy a nice dinner at Le Petite Cachee. While we can't speak to the view b/c it was dark at night in the middle of February, the ambiance is really nice - and the food was very good. The kids' menu options were a nice touch - and evidence that the restaurant is certainly family-friendly. (i.e. kids' drinks and sundae are included with their dinners). Food presentation was very nice, and portion sizes are what you should expect from a nice restaurant (i.e. not a heaping, mammoth-sized plate of food you'd come to expect at an American chain restaurant). Service was friendly, although the restaurant seemed a little overwhelmed (or under-staffed) the night we were there. With that in mind, we would certainly consider dining here again as the food was delicious.

Blandine W.

Yelp
As other reviewers said, this place is a hidden gem. Delicious food, friendly service, and great atmosphere.
google avatar

Jon H.

Yelp
This is a place we go to every time we're in Mont Tremblant on a ski vacation. We've taken many other couples and large groups and the food is fantastic. The Chef will even come out and talk about dishes and his inspiration. They have a great wine list and the desserts are also fantastic! This is a must go to if you're in Tremblant!

Yelp
This is just a great quaint little restaurant. The servers are amazingly friendly and passionate about the place and the food was excellent. I had a pea soup that was amazing (big words for soup) and a halibut dish that was cooked just perfectly. It came with a really interesting and unique vanilla and blood orange sauce that was just delicious. I cannot say enough about this restaurant. If you are in Tremblant get off the resort and give them a try.

Eggie M.

Yelp
I was traveling with my family and good friend's family for snowboarding trip from New York City. We came here for dinner after snowboarding at Mont Tremblant. Appetizers and food were alright given the $$$ sign on yelp they could have done better. But to us, service was completely unpleasant and unprofessional comparing to how other people in the restaurant were served. It seemed they wanted to rush us out while expecting for high tip. If you expect a good service from a $$$ sign on yelp I would suggest to go elsewhere. Enough said.

Alex M.

Yelp
This restaurant is one of the better ones in this area and had usually, almost always, presented a good food as well as ambiance and relatively polite staff serving you. However, this time the service was ok and the ambience was very inappropriate for a restaurant of this caliber. Soon after we arrives, which was at about 6:45 pm a group of people about 16 arrived one after another, being sat at the the table opposite to us by the window. This large group seemingly, belonged to different people with mix of French and English languages and dialects. They were very loud and rowdy with their noise level exceeding 50 dB on a regular basis and reaching 75 dB very often, we were sitter far away fro them, measuring their noise level, having technical background. They seems political parties intimidating otters, using sentences such as they are scared, very scared, really scared, as well as some obscenity, reminded us of the racists parties or groups that are currently running Page extended-protected or Neo-Nazism fans, the ones want you neither find job or hold one and themselves are super incompetent in delivering their tasks but are very good at bullying others. The place is very French oriented and these people are interested in maintaining their culture; however, these people respected neither French culture or others, playing rowdy for the entire period, which was about an hour and the restaurant did not ask them to control themselves. They were quite hyperactive, as if having few drinks. We ordered halibut, which was very low mediocre in taste, even though very expensive on their special list, shrimp pizza which was much better, butternut squash soup, ok good taste, French onion soup ok good taste, and Queen Elizabeth cake very good taste. We did not achieve dining in a respectful relaxing environment and the expensive bill did not help the situation either. For that, which is the poor management, overall mediocre food, disrespectful ambience, rowdy customers, and ok mediocre service, we do not recommend this place as a relaxing classy environment to the tourists or polite locals. We had dinner there booked on Dec 12, 2019 at 6:45.

Yelp
Beautiful little restaurant with lovely views of the mountain. Food and service were the best we've had in Tremblant. My husband and I ordered an organic New York strip which was cooked perfectly and the onion soup which was delicious. We will definitely be back on our next trip!
