Fish was excellent and nicely grilled. Taste wonderful with the accompanying pickles and vegetables. Asparagus cream chicken was good too and my partner loved it. I believe their creme brulee can be better but the taste that day was not so bad too. Caramel brioche was unique and definitely satisfies anyone with a sweet tooth.

This was such a fantastic place to eat in Lille. The food was beautiful and authentically French. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to get to know us. A highly recommended restaurant!

The atmosphere and personnel were very nice. We had the day's specialty 'swordfish and basmati rice' and a starter 'os à moëlle'. The starter was excellent, but the swordfish was try, and the portion tiny...the rice was basmatic but overcooked and made up 3/4 of the plate. The owner was very kind and said he would make sure to make changes. So, for what we had, it was a little overpriced for the quality of the food.

We recently dined at La Petit Cour, and unfortunately, it was the worst dining experience we've ever had. When going out to eat, you expect something enjoyable, but the food here almost made us ill. The starters were passable, though incredibly dull. The frog legs, in particular, were bland, with hardly any flavor; only the accompanying sauce added some taste. The fish was decent but, again, quite flavorless. Then came the main courses. The beef tartare was not well-prepared, with large chunks that didn't add much appeal. But the low point was definitely the shrimp croquettes with fries. I've had shrimp croquettes many times, but never anything as terrible as these. It was clear they had been frozen, with a mushy, soft texture that literally fell apart when picked up. The smell and taste were even worse—a strange chemical-like scent and flavor that I couldn't swallow without feeling nauseous. We had to send it back because it was simply inedible. Even after it was removed, the unpleasant smell lingered. We were later told the chef had washed their hands with something that accidentally transferred to the food, though it wasn’t entirely clear. We did get a refund for this dish, thankfully. For dessert, we ordered the crème brûlée and the apple mousse. The apple mousse was delicious, but how does one ruin a crème brûlée? It arrived completely burnt, with a strong, ashy flavor that was overwhelming. We sent it back and received a new one, but even that still tasted burnt. It's hard to understand how dishes could taste this unpleasant and yet receive such positive reviews elsewhere. We won’t be returning.

Excellent food. We tried beef bone marrow as starter, and for the main dish I absolutely adored the balance, portion and the taste of my plate. Unfortunately i don’t remember the dish’s full name but must’ve been an easy stalk:). They also have a backyard you can sit. Great experience overall 💯

We had a great time here. The restaurant has an amazing atmosphere within the inner courtyard of a historic building (hence the name of the restaurant). The service was friendly and fast, the food was great and the price was also fair. Highly recommended!

Excellent food, great service, lovely ambience and family-friendly. We booked this restaurant on our visit to Lille and wasn't disappointed. We had the croquettes, prawns and salmon tartar for starters and veal chops, beef steak and beef stew for mains. We were all delighted with our meal. They are also very child-friendly and were willing to cook up some dishes for our daughter giving us a few options of cooked salmon or beef pattie. Highly recommended.

Came after 2 years and everything is still really good as we remembered. Food is tasty and the place has a lovely atmosphere. The servers do their best and are bilingual.

Yelp
Had the Flemish stew and the crème brûlée which were both very good. Had a quirky vibe like Lille overall but interior and decoration were nice. Nice service as well. Would highly recommend. Sat inside but there was also an outdoor patio in the back.

Yelp
Many more local reviewers are hard on the The Little Court- as an obvious outsider I think this harsh. The food is unapologetic Flamand, by and large. There is a respectable wine list; the staff are excellent and highly professional, not to mention mostly at least bilingual. The place is buzzing; even out of high season you really need a booking. I would come back in a shot.

Yelp
When you are traveling around the most romantic country, you might want to travel around and feel the small town's atmosphere. My friend and I both traveled from Paris to this small town called Lille, it's located about 2 hours north from Paris. It's a nice small town, but please do not come here during the weekend!! You won't find anything to eat or to shop LOL... Learned from the hard way. Teehee, anyway, let's get down to the business!! My friend looked up this place via Tripadvisory and they get really good rating from all other customer, therefore, we are like, let's try authentic French food in a small town!! Not a bad idea right? You would think, small town, French cuisine, the flavor should kept it all old school and bring out the right aurora from the food & the environment!! That's what I thought to begin with, but dream soon to be destroyed. I am not saying this place is bad, but I might held my standard a little bit way too high from all of my delusional thoughts :p IF you do not know how to read French, then good luck to figure out what's on the menu!! They do not have any English Translation. Time to eat dirt right? But no, they do only have 1 waiter that speak English! Yes, 1 waiter that can speak fluent English, so please do not be afraid to come and eat here, you won't just eat dirt and drink water.... I promised. They usually will provide an free appetizer, minced olive with olive oil mix with bread for you.. My friend and I are not big fans with Olive, but the taste of this minced olive & the mixture of olive oil, bring out the right flavor and teased my flavor palette. It help the bread to bring out it's original flavor and the flavor of olive made me felt like i was standing by the olive farm and can smell the fresh olive. It's truly amazing on what they did!! My main entree is a fish course (sorry i forget what it called) and my friend ordered a lamb dish. For me, my fish is perfectly cooked, but the vegetables on the bottom are quite blend in my opinion. But the broth have great flavor. You may said, "wtf? how is that possible?", and my answer is, idk, i'm not the chef -_-..... The fish & the broth are awesome, the veggies are a let down. As for my friend's entree, you ordered the lamb, the sauce itself it's great. It's like a combination of sweet & saltiness but each element played with each other and form a perfect harmony. But the lamb it's alright in my opinion. May be the sauce it's way too strong and took away the beauty of the lamb :( Anyway, this is a good place to eat at. But it's on a more pricy side. You will have good food, but I wouldn't say amazing. If you ever passed by and want to try it out, then do it. Trying new thing is always better than reading about it!

Yelp
This place was SO GOOD! We went on a whim after doing a little quick research as we were only in France for a day and wanted something more French bistro style and were blown awAy! We ended up ordering only entrees as they all looked so good and my husband and I wanted to share. We got the bone marrow with grilled bread which was delicious, l'oeuf cocotte (my favorite thing that I had), les Gambas (felt like a shrimp vegetable spring roll, this was good but not as special) and coquant de mariolles (a cheese, fried!). Everything was delicious. The starter bread was out of the world as instead of butter, they gave us this beautiful olive tapenade type spread. Mmmmm.
