This hotel is a perfect hideaway from the dusty streets on Uyuni. The big open corridor is bright and filled with beautiful plants and tables where you can sit and have your homemade breakfast. Carla is the most wonderful host, and makes you feel at home right away. There are only four rooms, but each room is beautiful and has its own character. It gets hot in the hotel during the summer season but imagine it’s nice and warm on the cold winter nights.

My mum and I stayed at La Petite Porte in November 2018 and were blown away by the experience. We spent two nights, on either end of a three-day Salar tour. Carla and her family (caretakers) were warm and welcoming, and Christophe (owner) was excellent to deal with online. The room was superbly clean and well-appointed with bottled water, tea/coffee, and a kettle. The bathroom had a seemingly unlimited supply of HOT water (which was such a luxury after time on the salt flats). Nights were wonderfully quiet and peaceful, and the interior of the hotel itself was like stepping into another world (very different on the outside and on the inside!) Breakfast was great, and you can request the food you'd like the night before. La Petite Porte is walking distance from the tour companies and corner stores.||||This stay far exceeded our expectations- safe and 100% peace of mind, warm and cosy, and above-and-beyond service. I highly recommend staying here while you're in Uyuni!

In November 2016, I spent several days with the love of my life and 4 other women in 3 rooms, which we all thought were really cute and quaint little rooms. The hosts were wonderful and the hospitality was incredible. It was warm in the afternoons because of the intense sun in this part of the country, but it was not unbearable. There was shade from the sun, but not a lot of breeze. We all loved our stay here in Uyuni, Bolivia. We would definitely recommend this place for your stay.

My husband, two in-laws, and I stayed in La Petite Porte at the beginning of January. I could writer so much about the hotel: the incredible tidiness, thoughtful details, cozy interior, delicious breakfasts...And believe me, I am not an easy person to impress. But the highlight for us was the caring attitude of Christophe and his wife. From calling to reserve a table at the local restaurant ad arranging transportation to Potosi, to helping us find the most amazing Salar de Uyuni tour guide, we were treated like family.||La Petite Porte is hands down one of the most memorable hotels I have ever stayed at. It is an oasis in the middle of nowhere and you will not be sorry for choosing it.

It's centrally located. It doesn't look much from the outside, but the room is first class - comfortable bed, excellent shower, good WiFi, beautifully decorated.||Carla speaks good English and bends over backwards to be helpful - phoning the airline to reconfirm tickets, SIM card, where to eat, airport dropoff, etc. Breakfast is served in the room, and you choose from a very decent menu. ||A very good place in Uyuni after a few days in the wilds.

Fabulous place. An oasis is a dusty desert town. Warm, cozy and very relaxing. Great jump off point for the salt flats. Owned by a French guy - stylish and comfortable rooms, great courtyard and is airy and light. even a place to wash your boots/shoes. very nice breakfast made to order that you can eat in the courtyard. stylish, comfortable and very nice. we originally looked at the place next door, which was adequate but luckily we decided to peek at this place - in the end we stayed two nights and the it was the nicest place we stayed in during our 10 day trip to Bolivia

If you happen to be on your way to or back from the amazing Uyuni salt flats, you may want to spend the night at La Petite Porte. The tiny nice boutique hotel has beautifully styled rooms (even though a bit uncomfortable bathrooms and shower) and is an unexpected surprise. The breakfast is good and can be taken either in the room or just outside, in the covered patio.

Stayed there for 2 nights. The B&B was a very nice surprise. Very small door on the street and once inside, an oasis. Peacefull, clean and very well appointed (the city of Uyuni is dusty and not very nice). The room was good, good shower and comfy bed.||The breakfast was delicious.||Only 4 rooms so it's super calm at night.||Christophe, the owner, made great recommendation for the excursions and also the restaurant to eat at night.||Great stay, definitely recommend la petite porte for your stay in Uyuni.
