I was clear with my intolerances and allergies when I ordered. I was not respected. Plus 30+ min wait time for 1 piadina. Also, I paid for an ingredient i took off as per intolerances, and the piadina is way overpriced already and in Italy are way thicker and fuller with ingredients. I advised that at order time, very clearly, I can't have ingredients from Australia that are not organic as are mostly GMO, and I can have only organic ingredients from Australia or ingredients from Italy as gmo its banned there. I do not eat GMO grains as health reactions intolerances, and I advised this when I asked about where the cheese comes from and if they have organic and explained well about gmo intolerance ~All Italian flours have no GMO grains as its banned in Italy any gmo foods and ingredients. In this place, they don't use Italian flour, and I was advised it was Australian flour just after it was served the piadina to me. I didn't eat it as it was not healthy for me to do so. The manager then came close by and told it was organic flour. I asked him what brand they used so I could check. I looked online. I saw it was not organic. The manager then said he shouldn't have told me it was Australian flour, so I would have eaten it. I responded that he did well to let me know at least right before i was about to start eating the piadina so i wouldn't have had an intolerance health reaction. I asked politely for a full right refund. the manager then refused and said, "Do you see organic in the menu?" In Italian. I responded, "I advised my order time about gmo intolerances, and I thought they had Italian flour as many Italian places use it, and also, Australian places do, and i very clearly explained that grains in Australia are mostly gmo if not organic certified due to not regulatory standards." The manager said I was wrong and the flour they have its ok. I have politely and assertively responded that I know what's ok for me and what's not ok for Me and I expected to be respected at my order time and also to be provided with a full refund as its was not safe for Me to eat that product. I then left for good. The manager is very rude, aggressive attitude, and unprofessional. I highly recommend going to Arte Bianca close by a few shops up. Arte Bianca has much better food, and customer service is always carried out with kindness, politely, and respectfully.

Opened successfully since 2007, this is a lovely popular sport in Bondi. The owner Damiano is a humble hard worker, that made La Piadina an Italian icon in the Eastern Suburbs. Food is genuine an d healthy. Coffee is top quality. You may have to wait a bit to receive your order in peak hours, but believe me it’s all worth it. Put it this way… if you come here, you will save money for a trip to Italy to taste the same original food 🤣. I would recommend to stop here to try it, for an aperitivo Aperol Spritz with a delicious piadina. Perfect also for a lazy morning in Bondi on weekends. You may find also some movie star celebrities of Mad Max if you lucky.

Salami, nduja, stracchino and caramelized onion combo is the bomb! No 5 on the menu is one of my favorite! I’ve try different dishes on the menu, even the special “my mom can’t cook” but nothing compare to no 5. Tasty, hot and spicy and sweetness from the caramelized onion is amazing! Piccolo is always consistently good. Pastry by far I’ve 3 fillings, Nutella, mixed berry and pear&chocolate. Live them all!

Piadina is one of my favourite dishes, it’s something simple but it’s hard to find a place in Sydney who makes them; so I was really happy to go there. My piadina was not the best I’ve ever eaten in my life, but it was ok. I think I had too much expectation and the location was not the top as well. The good thing is that they also sell few Italian products.

A Hidden Gem at Bondi! 🇮🇹✨ Stumbled across this gem near the beach and wow – the piadina was amazing! Super fresh, full of flavour, and the staff were lovely. Can’t wait to come back!

I hadn't been for a long while. Chose my old favourite - pancetta, provolone, baby spinach & balsamic glaze. It's still just as delicious! Piadina is absolutely best whe eaten straight off the stove top. I personally wouldn't get it delivered, or do take away if you live more than 5 minutes away. This is a really small cafe, it can get hectic and you may have a wait if that's the case. I got lucky, and no queue when I popped in tonight. They seem to get quite a few delivery/pick up orders, so you may need a little bit of patience even if there aren't many diners inside - sit, relax, order a drink and enjoy :)
