I suggest staying anywhere but here if you get room 4. Not a 3 star hotel. Definitely not a hotel in general. Equivalent to a hostel. See details below: Pros: - close to lots of site sightseeing Cons: - no front desk or workers at all to help. - Only way to communicate with hotel is via text as there are no workers at the hotel. - Alessandro (host/hotel manager/the person that texts you) takes hours to respond if you need anything, but very responsive with texts when they need something. - The bathroom is down the main hallway next to another hotel room. Not inside the room you rented. - The shower was literally missing a shower door. Water goes all over the floor even with a towel on the ground. EXTREMELY SLIPPERY AND DANGEROUS - The shutters on the bathroom window cannot close so you feel like people can see you while showering

A beautiful little hotel in the heart of Rome. The LPM team makes sure that you feel welcome in advance. We arrived well after hours (1:30AM after a delayed flight) and Alessandro and team made sure that we were able to access our room regardless of the late check in. Lovely, clean room with modern amenities and a comfortable bed. There was easy access to Rome sights, great restaurants nearby, and all within walking distance or - for those not keen on walking - near Rome's underground system.

La Piccola Maison was perfect our stay in Rome! It definitely is more of an airbnb situation where their hosts are in contact with you but there is not a formal front desk or concierge, but this did not detract from our comfort or stay at all. We did feel very safe as the location itself is safe and the entrance requires multiple key card entries, and our rooms were comfortable and always well tended to. Patrizio was our host/contact and he was always very kind, responsive, and attentive. Our luggage was delayed for a few days and Patrizio made sure to be in contact with us and made planning to be at the hotel for our luggage a breeze. My partner and I both enjoyed the central location, which was close to main sights to see in Rome as well as an easy walk to Roma termini train station. It was also close to nearby restaurants, convenience/grocery stores, and other shops. I would happily recommend La Piccola Maison to anyone, especially couples, to stay here if they are looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay in Rome!

Amazing location conveniently located 10 minutes away from Trevi by walk. We were able to walk everywhere from La Piccola. We had the room with the private bathroom and it was perfect! Very clean and staff is always available if anything is missing or you require help. Grazie!

Would highly recommend staying at this gem of a spot in Rome center. Walking distance to everything, comfortable living space, very friendly staff. Felt very much like staying in an Air B&B. Very clean. Alessandro was very helpful coordinating driving from the airport and to our next location upon departure. We arrived an hour early and I do wish I better understood the checkin procedures but our driver was super helpful and Alessandro arrived right away to make sure we were set. We had 2 rooms and traveled with teenagers and would recommend for a no frills, authentic, clean and central location when visiting Rome,

I spent a very comfortable four nights here. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The central location at the bottom of famous via Veneto is so close to many of the sites.||I had one minor issue on my first night. The air conditioner didn’t function properly. Fortunately, they were able to move me to another room and were very apologetic about the inconvenience. The only other interaction that with the staff was at check in. The gentleman who greeted me was super friendly.||You should keep in mind that this hotel and others like it generally have much smaller rooms than the big chain hotels. Even though my room was relatively small, it was comfortable and clean.||The hotel didn’t service my room during my four-night stay, but I never need it. The only recommendation that I would make is that they add a trash can to each room. In my two rooms there were only small garbage cans in the bathroom. Also, the room did not have a hot water kettle which many similar hotel have. However, I knew this beforehand and brought my own travel kettle.||If your looking for an outstanding location at a great price, I highly recommend La Piccola Maison.

The hotel is hidden down a side street behind a green door. Up many marble steps and you enter a spacious, updated, A/C, private room with a spectacular view. We stayed in room #1. We arrived late and instructions were clear how to get in and up to our room. The process of check out was smooth. Very patient host for someone whom is digitally challenged. My husband who is very picky and usually complains said he would diffidently return. The hotel is situated close to an atm, metro access, amazing food, and a great corner market. We watched a sunrise and sunset at the Spanish Steps since they were only about .3 up a slight incline. From there Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, etc. are within a leisurely stroll. I’m an 3x women who appreciated how close things were. It really is a hidden secret of a hotel.

We stayed here for 3 night in September. The host Alessandro was wonderful, he helped arrange a car for us from the airport. Helped with anything we asked about. ||The A/C in the room was wonderful for the heat!! the room was small and nothing liked it looked on line. It was small and plain. Our issue was the stairs!! 4 fights of stairs with luggage! no elevator, if I would have know this before I wouldn't have booked the room there. the place was clean and it served our purpose.
