9 Best Galapagos Cruises for Adventure, Wildlife, & Luxury | Condé Nast Traveler

"Uncruise’s weeklong itinerary aboard this 48‑passenger yacht visits seven islands with floor‑to‑ceiling windows, a sundeck, fitness center, and hot tub; it isn’t the newest or most luxurious ship in the Galapagos, but it’s comfortable and recently refurbished. You’ll have everything needed for an all‑out adventure—kayaks, paddleboards, snorkeling and scuba gear, plus a glass‑bottom boat—while nature and wildlife stay front and center. Hike Dragon Hill on Isla Santa Cruz in search of iguanas and flamingos, paddleboard alongside sea lions at Isla Floreana, and wander a secluded white‑sand beach; if you think cruising isn’t your thing, Uncruise might change your mind." - Meena Thiruvengadam, Paris Wilson

We went to the place with high expectations because they recommended us but it was very disappointing. They served me in small quantities even with the wine. The menu was not at all innovative, my husband did not receive his dish and we were waiting so I do not recommend it.

A menu board loaded with stand out dishes that work well as share plates or single serves. House made bread is an absolute must. Quality, integrity and some quirky flavour combos. Serving sizes are modest, but well priced. Staff are lovely, helpful and responsive to our needs. Viva La Pinta!

Such a gorgeous place with a unique menu and style of service. Tapas style best describes it with super unique, exceptional flavors. Wine was great too but not your classic Shiraz, Chardonnay range - more international range. Sitting outside was a little uncomfortable without back rests but the indoor seats looked lovely. Service was friendly and adequate, they were so helpful calling us when a table became available. Menu changes regularly we were told so we’re super keen to come back!

I found La Pinata by accident. I had been walking for hours and by chance, I gave up and ordered an uber from that spot. The uber was going to be 20 minutes. I popped in for a drink to kill the time, and was immediately blown away with the exciting buzz and hustle and bustle. The greeter was basically blocking the front door, but instead of feeling intimidated, I felt like id walked into my friend's kitchen. I only got to stay for 2 quick beers, but the place had such a vibe, and the food on plates looked so wonderful. It was electric in there, and such a cross section of demographics for such a small space. Its was only 445pm on a friday and it was full of 20somethings sensibly eatong and unsensibly preloading in a very classy way, a group corporate ladies dissecting their week with tapas and a wine, late middle agers who had clearly beem settled in all afternoon, and retirees enjoying the atmosphere. So although my review isnt based off eating their... yet!... i cannot sing the praises of this tiny little establishment enough and cant wait to try it out properly.

We had a beautiful evening at La Pinta with a group of friends - the food was magnificent, cocktails delicious and the staff very attentive. We had a few dietary reqs to work around, which were well accommodated. The banquet was very generous. I highly recommend this place for a special night out.

Very cute little joint in Reservoir serving delicious food and drinks. Restaurant was buzzing with people even at 8:30pm at night. Good selection of foods on an ever rotating menu board, everything was delicious and we left each plate completely empty and clean! Dishes are somewhat on the smaller side for what we would have expected given the price, however we could not fault the taste and texture at all. Split pea dip was our highlight and would come again just to order it take away.

We had the loveliest evening there on Friday night, the food is excellent, service fabulous and atmosphere wonderful! Highly recommend and worth the wait for a table if you don't get there early. We had Australian salmon, lamb (heavenly) split pea dip, roasted beetroot. Amoung other things, so damn good and we'll definitely be back.

Had a lovely evening at La Pinta. Very cosy place and as previous reviews have said, great service. We had 6 of the small share plates: bread (awesome), olives, smoked beef w horseradish (delicious), split pea dip, octopus (we didn’t like the seasoning) and beet salad (amazing as previous reviewer said). Plus Tinto de Verano drink (one of my favs from Spain). Dishes were ok size and had enough for a light meal. Would recommend you try it but definitely don’t come starving. Nice for a catch up with friends
