We came here 6:00 with a booking for 8:00 because we finished our Versailles palace tour way earlier than we planned. There were no guests inside, and we were like, ok we might need to wait outside for it to open. But they welcomed us and gave us water quickly. We sat down, looking at the menu, oh boy there were so many choices of crepes and galettes to choose from! We only have three people here, so we opt for 2 galettes and 1 crepe. One thing I need to nitpick here is that the waiter served all three dishes together and the crepe has an ice cream on it. So we needed to eat the ice cream before the galettes. Talking about the galettes, the ham and cheese one was just your classic, mediocre galette but the other one ( the blue cheese, onion and lettuce one) was so good. Yes I personally ADORE blue cheese but it’s just so surprisingly delicious with caramelised onions and fresh lettuce. The one thing going on my mind while I ate this was like, this is gotta be a solid five stars. The crepe with homemade toffee sauce, apple paste and the (obviously) eaten ice cream was a masterpiece itself. The toffee sauce was so good and the ‘toffeeness’ of it was just right. Overall, the only thing I want to complain is that I can’t give six stars. That’s how much I adore this restaurant. Definitely will come if I had the chance.

Had dinner at La Place after visiting the Palace of Versailles and it was a great choice. The weather was nice, so we sat on the terrace across the street. Service was quick and friendly, and the food was delicious. Both the savory and sweet crêpes were excellent: fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. Highly recommended if you’re in the area and looking for a good crêpe.

Google
Salty crepes were solid. We had the Roma and another crepes with bacon and a special cheese and they were both delicious, sizeable and affordable. The service was ok.

Google
A small restaurant mainly serves crepes and palettes and some salads. The staff was very friendly, fast and helpful. We had two different sweet crepes, one with honey and lemon and one Suzette (sugar and flamed). We also tried the dry cider I liked very much as it was not too sweet. The food came fast and was very good. I can totally recommend this place.

Google
An absolutely perfect Place, it’s not that far away from The Versailles Palace. The Crepes were very delicious, the staff is amazing and friendly. The Place itself is covered in the Color green which makes people feel very welcoming. All in all it was an great experience. Hope on seeing it again soon!

Google
Our tour guide recommended this place and said it was her favorite crepe place around so we decided give it a try. We were skeptical because it was so close to the Palace of Versailles, but it was not touristy at all. It was quaint and lovely. We had quite honestly the best crepe we’ve ever had complimented with some champagne and our server was wonderful. I would highly recommend.

Google
A great place to visit after going to Chateau de Versailles. The service was quick and we got everything after 5 minutes we ordered. The taste was excellent as well! La forestière has a beautiful taste to it and I really loved the sweet crepe. Well-worth it!!!

Google
Small and charming restaurant near the main entrance of the palace. The salty pancake that I had was amazing, my wife had a salad, which also was tasty. The place inside is small, so make sure to book a table in advance or order from the take away menu.

Yelp
The location is amazing - it's right across the street from Versailles palace and that's the major reason to go there. The menu is mostly sweet and savory crepes, but there are salads and tartines as well. There are many options available including vegetarian options. We got a tartine, which was basically a bad pizza, a savory crepe (caprese) which was reasonably good, and 2 sweet crepes which were fine. We came on a weekend, but the restaurant was definitely understaffed and service was a bit slow.

Yelp
Love this place so much, we went back right away for the next meal. We have a party of 5 and all of us love their food. Both savory and sweet are wonderful. Price is reasonable too.

Yelp
This place is awesome! We stopped in after touring Versailles. We were very cold and hungry! There were 6 of us and the staff welcomed us in and was very kind. The food was amazing. Most of us got savory crepes, my mother in law got the New Delhi salad that had tandoori chicken and said it was the best salad of her life! She is still talking about it! We finished off the meal with a couple sweet crepes and they were so yummy! Would definitely eat here again.

Yelp
The staff were nice. Always helps to try using French. The crepes were wonderful. And it's a nice little spot.

Yelp
Went here for dinner. The waiter wasn't that friendly, come to think of it, none of the staff was that friendly. Lots of seating outside, and a good amount inside as well. The menu has lots of pancakes and crepes. There's some salads and a couple of burgers. I ordered their own burger and it came with pancakes as a bun, I didn't like that, it tasted bitter. The burger inside a bit dry but not too bad. For service we had to ask for everything like utensils and more water. It was frustrating.

Yelp
What a lovely little crepes place located in Versailles. Their slogan is peace love and crepes! The gentleman that greeted us was very friendly and we got to sit in a cute little table next to the window. You can tell the place is pretty popular since it was pretty pack. They have a great list of both salty and sweet options crepes. I went with salty and ordered the La Roma. It was a delicious crepes filled with ham (and by ham I mean magical and delicious ham, not what we tend to think of as ham), eggplant, tomatoes, mozzarella and olive oil basil. This choice was definitely a great one. The crepe was perfect, with a little crispiness to it. The service was very fast and friendly. I was very happy with this suggestion our tour guide gave us.

Yelp
The combo comes with a savory galette AND a dessert crepe! Also, the cider that came with it was quite good. I wish I could have got a whole bottle. I'm pretty basic with my desserts because I don't have a huge sweet tooth. I got a simple butter and sugar crepe - it was light, buttery(but not greasy), and sweet. My savory selection had chicken and bacon. My friend's had ham with bacon and baby potatoes in it. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! It's less than a 5 minutes walk from Versailles, right across from the bus parking lot. If I come back to France and visit Versailles again, I'd love to eat here again!

Yelp
Just northeast of the entrance into the palace of Versailles, it's quite the charming cafe. My husband I found they make a great Crepe to go. We both tried the Nutella, along with an espresso and hot chocolate, which was delicious and creamy. They also offered crepes with jam and fruit, or meat and cheese. The ambiance was relaxed and the server was friendly. What a great little Crepe and coffee shop.

Yelp
Excellent food, and excellent service - got a table pretty quickly, despite the place being packed (many of the patrons were clearly locals and regulars), and were able to enjoy a variety of dishes, served quickly and with a smile. A definite repeat.

Yelp
Located right outside of the Palace , this was the perfect spot before going into The Palace. Although if I had to do it again, I would take the crepe to go and eat it while waiting to get into the Palace. Because it's a very long wait before entering. Even with a ticket. I had the savory le summer with salmon, grilled eggplant, salad, goat cheese and walnuts. Yum. My son had the kids special. A savory ham and cheese with a small Nutella crepe and apple juice. Very cute decor so I enjoyed eating there.

Yelp
Super convenient after visiting Versailles Palace because it's right across the street. There's a great variety of crepes that are really satisfying and the hot chocolate was like drinking liquid cake. Definitely a memorable cafe that had unique French crepes, a cute atmosphere, and friendly staff who were super accommodating to English speakers.

Yelp
La Place was a 5-10 minute walk from the entrance of Versailles. We ate a late lunch there and took time off of our feet after spending 4 hours at Versailles. It is a trendy small cafe specializing in crepes. The food was really great and affordable. Tourist friendly with English speaking staff and English translations on the menu.
google avatar

Fernanda D.

Yelp
They speak English!!! Yay! We were in need of a coffee on our walk to the palace of Versailles. Great coffee and service.
google avatar

Natalya M.

Yelp
This place is less than 10 minute walk from the. Versailles. We were seated right away. The food was great. Everyone finished their food. I had the tartine with ham, goat cheese, tomato and egg it was yummy! The rest of my family had crepe with avocado crepe with chicken and salads. Price is reasonable and staff is nice. Here are some photos of our food.

Yelp
Delicious crepes, airy space and a great bathroom? I'm sold. I had a peach and caramel crepe, and also tried my friend's ham and cheese galette and chocolate crepe. Everything was super tasty and we couldn't even finish the savory one because it was so hearty. This was a great spot to relax at after doing the Palace of Versailles!

Yelp
Came for brunch after spending the morning at Versailles. We ordered one savory and one sweet crepe. The Bollywood was our savory with tandoori chicken. Great flavors in the chicken and the sauce, while the lettuce on top provided a nice fresh balance. Our sweet crepe was the Billie. While it was pretty good, it had a bit too much chocolate sauce (I can't believe I said too much chocolate) and the sweetness of the sauce overpowered the vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Service was decent, but not overly attentive. I'd be up for trying a few more of their crepes.

Yelp
Came here after visiting Versailles; fast service, and a good place to sit down after exploring the palace. This place has a nice, long list of crepes, both savory and sweet for you to try. The atmosphere was cozy and warm, and our server was friendly. They worked with our feeble attempts to speak French. I got a Nutella crepe that was just as delicious as I thought it would be, and some tea. My friend got one of the savory crepes, which was also wonderfully seasoned. The crepes themselves were nicely made.
google avatar

Gallegos W.

Yelp
Great location outside the palace, price reasonably and you can enjoy a lunch or dinner on its patio seating. The only thing is the service was poor they need to work on there services.
google avatar

Yelp
This creperie is located right by the palace of Versailles, so if you happen to be in the area late to avoid all the tourists from the tour buses, this is a great place for dinner or dessert. We happened to have been walking down the street and luckily this place was open. The interior of this "place" reminded me of a nice coffee shop for some reason. Probably because of the layout of the bar, and how they decorated the place. I really liked how they decorated their walls with the drawings, and polaroid pictures up. Their menu is straight forward. I would recommend the Apple Cidar (fermented). If you're with a group of 4, you could just get the pitcher. The crepes we ordered were all delicious. Service was great. They speak fluent English, but if you want you can definitely attempt some French. They will make an effort to understand.

Yelp
Quaint restaurant with outdoor tables near the Palace of Versailles. We came very late for lunch and they went out of their way to still serve us but with a warning "to eat fast." The salmon large salad was enjoyed by my wife. Large slices of salmon with fresh greens. I had the tartine with mozzarella and jambon and it was also quite good with very fresh tomatoes.
google avatar

Uma K.

Yelp
Amazing crepes and great service. If you end up visiting the palace this should 100% be a meal stop for you. I ordered the caprese crepe and it was wonderful. The ingredients are really fresh! There's a huge variety of crepes and La Place would be a great choice for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike.

Yelp
Super good, super chill. Never had fresh tomato sauce on a crepe before, and it was amazing.

Yelp
La Place is not only conveniently close to Chateau Versailles but the Crepes are fantastic. After a long day of walking I needed some "real food" with protein and sugar to keep me going. On a street to the right of the main gate I found this gem of a place that was open on a Sunday when the rest of town is closed and over-priced. The service was fantastic! Between me trying a little French and the waitress trying a little English I managed to order two Galettes, a crepe and two hot chocolates for my wife and I. When the crepes arrived I knew it was a good choice to dine-in even with the higher price. The Galette Pomodoro (8€) came with chunks on tomato and oozing mozzarella. This galette was packed with a savory flavor. The Chocolat Chaud (4€) hot chocolate came a little warm even though it was made on the spot, but still had plenty of flavor to make up for it. The Galette Campagnarde (8€) mushroom, cheese and egg was exploding with flavor. There wasn't a piece of the dish that didn't contain all of the components and even the littlest bite satisfies. I was full from one! The Crepe Belle-Ile (7€) peach, vanilla ice cream, caramel and whip crepe was perfectly sweet without being overwhelming. It was a great way to end the meal. The fantastic food and service would bring me back and has me recommending this place to everyone I know going to Versailles.

Yelp
Great little restaurant with terrific crepes, and fast and friendly service. Menu was in French and English which made it super easy to order. Prices were very responsible and It is located right across from Versailles Palace and a half of a block from Hotel Le Versailles.
google avatar

Chelsea S.

Yelp
You can't come to France and not try crêpes. You need to try both street crêpes and crêperie crêpes. This restaurant near the Palace of Versailles had a lunch special which included an apple cider, a savory crêpe, and a sweet dessert crêpe. I don't remember the price but it was very reasonable considering the amount of food you get. The savory crêpe list selection was tourist friendly. They had Tex-Mex savory crêpes featuring beans, cheddar cheese, and spicy chicken in the same menu as more classic smoked salmon with cream. The taste was really delicious with all the ingredients pairing extremely well and the portion sizes ensuring you feel well-fed and happy. The apple cider was a great pairing and the sweet crêpe is always a great finisher. I wish this place were in my neighborhood because I'd be a regular customer.

Yelp
Darling... and delicious! Very conveniently located across from the Palace de Versaille!!!

Yelp
Rude service. I tried to speak to the server in not-so-great french, and as soon as he realized I wasn't French, he gave me a menu for takeout, which I didn't ask for. The menu only had 5 super lame crepes/galettes (savory crepes). I politely mentioned that I saw online that they had a wider variety of crepes and asked if they had it. He said it was more expensive and dine in only. Okay? Show me... The dine-in menu had 4 times as many options as the take-out menu. I asked if I could get the dine-in flavors but packaged to go. He said "if you like." Very confusing and rude. The canard galette (duck) was okay. Meat was dry, and most of the filling was potatoes. The galette itself was dry and not chewy like it's supposed to be. I also got a white chocolate crepe, and it was pretty bad. Just go to any of the creperies in Paris instead. The ambiance is pretty cool, though, like that of a coffee shop.

Yelp
Fun, cool, hip little place! Cheery decor and super friendly and young staff. The crepes were excellent.
google avatar

Crystal R.

Yelp
This place was amazing! Crepes were delish! Coffee with foam was to die for. It was cute, nice decor, friendly staff. They do take a minute to take your order, but because they are rude mostly because your impatient. They do everything at a slower pace for you to relax and enjoy. Which we did!
google avatar

Maria B.

Yelp
Great place, nice outdoor seating, only place in Paris so far where we have had great service! Highly recommended in between the Chateau and the gardens visit at Versailles!!!

Amy L.

Yelp
Came here at 7pm on a Thursday night. Tried a savory and a sweet crepe. We very much enjoyed La Roma and La Titan. However, it was very busy here and large groups should make a reservation. There were two servers only so it was a bit slow.
google avatar

Jackie T.

Yelp
Stopped before our trip to the palace and shared a cheese, ham and egg Mediterranean crepe as well as a chocolate crepe. They were both good but nothing I'd have to absolutely return here for. I will say that the place is very beautifully decorated and the bathroom was super clean which I appreciate. It's also super conveniently located to the palace.
google avatar

Todd P.

Yelp
Some of the most amazing crepes we have ever had. Staff was great and attentive and the location was perfect next to the palace.
google avatar

Christie F.

Yelp
We arrived without a reservation to a packed restaurant. However, the staff were friendly and let us wait at the bar. We took it as a good sign that almost all the other patrons were French! We were told a table would be available in 20 minutes, and this timing was spot on. The menu is extensive - so many wonderful flavour combinations to choose from for your galette! The food came quickly, was truly scrumptious and served with care. The restaurant looks directly onto the Chateau de Versailles but as it's slightly off the beaten path, most tourists seemed to miss it. I would definitely return - it was fantastic!
google avatar

Sonya P.

Yelp
Wonderful little restaurant close to the entrance of the Versailles Palace. The food was delicious and the service attentive. Food was reasonably priced. I ordered the chicken and mushroom crêpe and it exceeded my expectations. I could see the dessert crêpes going by and every persons plate was cleaned afterward. Menus are in both French and English and my waiter was fluent as well.
google avatar

Madelyn C.

Yelp
This place is located conveniently close to Versailles! I had been walking for hours without taking any breaks with my friend and we were quite starved. We ordered the Roma & Caprese crepe and were not disappointed! Service was friendly & the food flew out quickly. It was a very cute Crêpe shop that I would revisit again for the dessert crepes (they looked fantastic but I did not have the time).
google avatar

Kat F.

Yelp
A quaint, nice crepes place right next to the Palace of Versailles entrance. We came in on a Saturday early afternoon and there was plenty of seating. The servers were attentive and conversed in English and French. We ordered two savory crepes (galette milanese and galette forestiere) and they were overall tasty. The best part was our dessert crepe: I can't remember the name (picture uploaded to this yelp page), but it was made with housemade salted caramel fudge, ice cream, and whip cream, and it was *fantastic*.

Paul B.

Yelp
The food was fine and the coffee as well. The waiter was stunningly rude. We watched him physically push tourist out of the area where the outside table were. They are in a public area and he spent most of the meal yelling at people. This is not an example of French rudeness. We have had nothing but wonderful experiences to this point. This was a specific example. I hope This review encourages a discussion with the staff about being more tolerant of visitor to the city.

Bobby M.

Yelp
Good find via yelp approx 7-10 walk from Versailles palace. The kids meal is a good bargain which comes with ham/cheese crepe, apple juice. dessert crepe and a kinder egg. The burger Crepe was ok at best. I had the Italian crepe which was delicious. They have good cider as well. Friendly staff.
google avatar

Andrew F.

Yelp
A creperie next to the palace of Versailles, it's pretty touristy here. First impressions were not good but some of the other restaurants in the vicinity are arguably worse. The good restaurants are all closed for the summer. The outdoor seating isn't too bad but there were bugs in the water they served us and there is one umbrella for all 30 or so chairs. There is also a great abundance of bees next to their outdoor drink ice bucket, mainly because the coke bottles used to lure the bees are way too close to the rest of the drinks. As for the service, it's not so great. Our waiter seemed to not be familiar with the menu and tried to read it out to us. Food came quickly, however, and that seemed to be the saving grace. The person who served the food was very polite and the food itself was elegantly presented. The New Delhi salad is quite delicious. The potatoes are well spiced and crispy, and the chicken is well seasoned and tender. The accompanying vegetables benefit greatly from the mix of sweet dressing and spiced warm flavor. Very good choice. Overall, pretty decent food but don't expect much else.
google avatar

Eric P.

Yelp
Great Food & Atmosphere! Staff was great too!!!! Just a quick step away from Chateau De Versailles.
google avatar

Brian J.

Yelp
Great place with open air sitting. A few local beers and fresh crepes. The menus is extensive so plenty of options to make everyone happy, savory and sweet.
google avatar

Chelsee S.

Yelp
We walked in and it seemed busy and we asked the waiter if there was a seat, he said there would be a wait which was fine. We had three people and one of us wasn't hungry but wanted to order beverages and sit together which we made clear before we sat down that one of us was NOT eating! Finally we sit down and we go to order our food with a different waiter and we explain only two of us we're eating. He then shakes his head at us and rolls his eyes in disgust as if we did something wrong! We then say the person not eating is still ordering beverages and he said something French obviously mad! At that point we just felt disrespected as paying customers to be treated so poorly that we walked out!
google avatar

Alyssa J.

Yelp
If I could give this place zero stars I would. I have never given a restaurant a low rating before but this restaurant is more than deserving. After being seated we said we wanted to share a crepe (normal request you would think) and the waiter began shaking his head saying that it is a busy lunch time for them. Which we understood so we said that we would get two instead, trying to be nice. The third person in our group only wanted drinkS. He again shook his head and was extremely rude to us. Implying that we were wasting his time. Completely unprofessional so we decided to leave and give our business to someone appreciates their customers, the business next door. Completely dissatisfied, left a bad taste in my mouth and didn't even get to try the food.

Yelp
Great crepes! Loved my Crepe Suzette!!! My wife and daughter loved their apple crepe!!!
google avatar

Angelica P.

Yelp
Recommended by a friend, this was a great snack after visiting all the beauty Versailles had to offer. The food was quick and delicious as was the coffee and chocolate. There's a kids room in the back with drawing paper and crayons that will keep them busy as you relax and people watch.

Gustavo D.

Yelp
Great place with excellent service right next to Château Versailles, It is an excellent option to have lunch in between the palace visit and the gardens visit. Highly recommendable!!
google avatar

Mish G.

Yelp
We had a wonderful lunch! I had a salad and a crepe for lunch and my friend had a crepe for lunch and dessert which was a set price. It was excellent and the waitress was very friendly and spoke English.
google avatar

Matthew S.

Yelp
We ate here with 4 adults and 6 kids. They were very accommodating of our large group. Everyone liked their food. Among us we had: the tex-mex, the complete, the superior, and a few other crepes. Very good savory and sweet crepes.
google avatar

Sydney W.

Yelp
Loved the crepes and the atmosphere! A great place for lunch during your trip to Versailles!
