"La Plage de Maui On Tahiti Iti, it is hard to beat eating with your toes in the sand right on the beach (there's also an inside dining room). Order one of the Polynesian dishes that include some fresh caught steamed line fish and local produce from taro to breadfruit. There is also a kid's menu."

This spot has the most beautiful panoramic views to enjoy the best fresh tuna. The portions of the main dishes are big so I recommend to split. The views are incredible and the people really sweet

The location and ambiance is what you are paying for. The fish supreme was two types of fish and was very fresh. However the sides were a bit bland. Also, they wouldn't let us sit by the water at noon on a Wednesday without a reservation....

Beautiful lunch spot. Upon arriving we were captivated by the view. We showed up on a Sunday lunch without a reservation and place was packed. We were informed that there would be a short 30mns break. Based on the very positive reviews and atmosphere, we decided to wait. Once we were seated, we were promptly given menu and order was taken shortly after. It took about 30mns for our food, but we didn't care- the view from our table was just breath taking. We had ordered their p special rock lobster plate and their large mixed plate with several tuna different ways, shrimp, and fish. Upon arriving plates were loaded with amazing food to the eye. Unfortunately, once tasted we quickly changed our tunes. 2 huge rock lobster tasted mooshy, food that supposed to be hot like mussels marinières and Escargot were cold, and tuna tartare and tuna crudo were warm. Food was overcooked, lacked seasoning, and just not very good. It was a total disappointment. Service was nice, but just couldn't make up for the food. I just can't recommend this place, when there are so many great restaurants in Tahiti.

This place is beautiful, nicely located next to the ocean. Literally when you sit down in the tables with the ocean side you can look down and see all the fishies. That’s ALL they got going on for them. I guess you pay for the location. Because it’s pricey. $35 for a dish that had two small pieces of fish ( only good thing in the plate), 5 fries and a small portion of rice which is undercooked. We thought they just gave us fish grade food so we can use it and throw it out for the fishes to eat. Did not like the sauce either it was very bland. Sad I didn’t take a photo of the place but was so underwhelming. Very sad sad food experience. I was expecting a lot more for a 4.5. Maybe it was just our place the supreme something. But anyways. Beware that the quality is not the best. Maybe just go here to feed the fishes and drink some beers

It’s mostly the location that stands out. The food quality is not great. We took a prime rib which was one of the worst preparation of its kind. The tuna steak was overdone and didn’t taste good. The portion size was huge but they don’t have to go boxes and don’t even provide lids. When we asked they gave us a used plastic box without a lid from the kitchen. Overall, should be visited there for the location, not for the food.

Wonderful restaurant directly next to the water with amazing view. Had delicious tuna trio with sashimi that was incredible and 2 other tuna raw dishes. More than enough food, great service and amazing location. Highly recommend restaurant!

This is a great hidden gem! Note that reservations are required to get a table by the water. The floor inside is sand, so wearing heels is not a good option. There are NO vegetarian options at this place, all of the entrees are either meat or fish. The service is great! Beautiful views right on the water with a nice glass of wine.

Very nice restaurant. Probably one of the very best dining you can find on Tahiti. The restaurant is located directly next to, and with a spectacular view of, the ocean. The menu is French/Tahiti style, very well cooked and presented. Wines are good and the staff is friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back here next time I vistit Tahiti iti. Recommended!
