La Playa Cafe

This was my first time visiting and I had a great experience. The place is cozy and comfortable, very different from the busy Seminyak area. It was raining lightly but the atmosphere was still nice. The food was tasty and fresh. Highly recommended for a relaxed meal.

Food- 5/5 wide variety of food, literally something for everyone. Price to Portion- 5/5 Affordable Price to location/area- 5/5 good price, Atmosphere- 3/5 great outside seating off the beach, all aeea is covered if raining. Weekend live music. Place is always busy, only negative thing i would say are the smokers and they also do hookah there. Service- 5/5 really nice staff and great service. Would I personally recommend- 4/5 good place to eat at if you're not sure what you want or party wants different things. BUT since being there 3 times and twice I had to eat with a smoker near by Im less likely to go back. Great place, I would definitely try none smoking for a season to see if it effects profits. it might even help bring star rating up since 4.5 can definitely get up to a 4.7-4.8 . being in a great location with live music you already have no problem getting customer & whole family. I dont think the smokers are your main costume base and reviewers. It might be worth the change since the menu is family friendly and walkers walking by might smell smoke and be drawn away. Not to mention all the runners might not want to stop in cause of the smoke.

Had read and heard great things about La Playa Cafe, it’s a fantastic location on the beach and atmosphere is amazingly relaxing. Great selection of food at very reasonable prices. $15 Aud for a rack of pork ribs that were tasted great and falling off the bone, stick to the local food dishes as a they are always amazing. Pizza and pasta were ok but save these for the speciality places. We’ll worth checking La Playa out even if it’s just for a cocktail in the beach 🏖️

Great location, big portions and fair prices. Lovely to sit and enjoy the ocean and the breeze. The only negative was the lack of professionalism of some of the waitstaff. They are not particularly attentive. In fact one of them was trying on shoes that a vendor was selling while waiting on customers. Not a great experience as others were waiting to place orders.

Food - mie Goreng, chicken Peanut satay, rendang and nasi campur absolutely delish. Service - friendly, happy staff. Very polite and accommodating. Good English. Priced well. Atmosphere - great location, nice and quiet. Came at lunch time and is a busy little spot. Also walked past at dinner time, same again. Gets busy. If you want a good seat close to the front and out along near the water then you must book. Very popular bustling spot. Great to sit and relax and even people watch.

Lovely food. Always had breakfast here - kick bowl- passion fruit base with dried dates, banana, coconut flakes, chia seeds, strawberries, blueberries delicious and quite filling. Staff very friendly. Reasonable price. Recommended.

What a pleasure. Stopped here by chance. Had the Wagyu Burger. Tasty, cooked well, nicely constructed with fries. Sapo Thai was the other dish. Huge, full of vegetables and egg Tofu. Impressive. Drinks cheap. Lovely service from great staff and a perfect beach front location.. highly recommended..

Absolutely super! Delicious food, great location on water’s edge, friendly staff! Couldn’t ask for any more! We booked a table in advance.
