La Playa Cafe

Stumbled upon this place and stopped because we were too tired to walk any further…and we’re so glad we did!!! It’s a great little place, really good vibes, and the staff are great-attentive, friendly and cheerful 😁 THE FOOD ❤️ the food was great-we only had a couple of items, and we loved them! We had the crumbed calamari-it was nice and thin and had a good crunch. My only complaint was that it kind of didn’t taste like much? But add some lime and it was perfect thanks! 🤩 we also had the trio tacos 🌮 one is chicken/beef and fish..with a nice little salad mix, on soft tacos. The flavour (esp the crispy fish!!!) was delicious! We ordered another set, they were that good 😁❤️

We went back to this place twice because we loved the vibes! The place is very nice to sit and you have a great vision of the beach. The food and drinks are also very delicious, and the portions are definitely big enough! 😋

Competing with so many other restaurants along this beautiful stretch of beach, La Playa is such a great choice. The restaurant offers a great menu with so many delicious seafood options. The Balinese prawns and the sharing platter were just amazing. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive.

La Playa in Sanur is beachfront dining at its finest. With stunning views over the beach and ocean, it’s got that dreamy, laid-back island vibe that makes you want to cancel all your plans and stay all afternoon.☀️🌊👙 Sure, prices are a bit higher than your average Bali spot, but honestly…totally worth it for the setting and experience 😊 Now let’s talk about the lasagna…hands down the best I’ve ever had in my life 😍 Rich, cheesy, perfectly baked layers of magic. I’ve already been back twice just for that dish, and I’m not ruling out a third (or fourth). If you’re looking for a chill spot with incredible food and front-row seats to paradise, La Playa’s your place. Pro tip: get the lasagna and thank me later. 🏖️🍝🌅

Great spot overlooking the beach. The indonesian food is excellent. In particular we tried the krokketten, mie goreng, pepes ikan and ayam madura - all delicious. Seems to be very popular with lots of repeat customers (including myself). Happy hour pricing on cocktails a bit confusing - 2 for 1 at 120k, but the same cocktail is 85k normally for 1.

This place by the beach had a great atmosphere. The food was pretty good, though not exceptionally better than other places. Still, it was a nice spot to end the evening

Place is crowded as not many good choices around, food was sub par, Calamari and Tom yum both tasted bad unfortunately. Shame as the venue has a good location but the food doesn’t justify the establishment

Stopped in here for a couple of beers. It was nice sitting on the bench stalls people watching. The service was good & the toilets were clean. We checked out the menu when we were there & the food looked good. Definitely would go back & try the food.
