The restaurant itself is cute with a great atmosphere. The food was pretty good and we all like all the dishes. We brought our 10 year-old kid but he did not enjoy the food that much. Service was good but a little bit slow when bringing the drinks

I attended an event at the Speakeasy bar and it was amazing. The Speakeasy Cocktail Bar is located on the second floor and you need to pass through a bathroom door to find it. The bar and sitting area are elegant and beautiful. The cocktails are creative and beautifully served. Appetizers and snacks served at the event were delicious and nicely presented. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Went here for a girls’ night and we really wanted to love it. The space itself is gorgeous, but the service and food just didn’t hit the mark. I work in the industry, so I’m usually pretty understanding, but our server didn’t seem happy to be there at all. We kept having to put our hands up to get someone’s attention whether it was for side plates, to place our order, or even after he took our drink order and we told him we were ready for food, he just walked away. Maybe he was having an off day. My friend has a fish allergy, and when we tried to order the beef tartare, the server let us know it contains Worcestershire, so we chose something else. It just would’ve been nice to get a bit more guidance on what menu items were fine to have instead of dropping the menu and walking off. We ended up sharing the escargot and mushroom vol-au-vent, and it was honestly one of the saltiest dishes I’ve ever had. We thought it was just an off bite, but the next bite was the same. The duck tagliatelle was fine just very mid. Best part of the night was the lychee martini. It was delicious. Maybe the server and kitchen were just having an off day, but overall the experience didn’t match the beautiful interior.

I am in love with this place, I loved their escargot, 100% highly recommended, I also loved their french onion soup. The cocktails were also superb, the server was super nice, she gave us some great recommendations and made sure we got everything we needed and made sure our experience was great. My go to place for french food! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

La Plume: A Culinary Journey with a Hidden Twist From the moment we arrived at La Plume, we knew we were in for something special. The experience begins not at a host stand, but in a gorgeous, cool elevator that whisks you up, creating a feeling of anticipation and exclusivity before you even step inside the main dining room. The atmosphere upon arrival is chic, vibrant, and perfectly sets the stage for an elevated evening. The biggest surprise of the night, however, was the hidden speakeasy. When searching for the restroom, we were completely tricked by the cleverly concealed entrance. What appeared to be the washroom door was actually a stunning secret entrance to an intimate, dimly lit speakeasy. It was a fantastic, playful moment that added a layer of adventure and mystery to the entire visit—a truly unique touch that elevates La Plume above standard fine dining. The culinary offerings were just as memorable as the atmosphere. We started with a selection of appetizers that showcased both fresh seafood and careful execution. The assorted tempura was light, perfectly crisp, and never oily, demonstrating a mastery of the technique. The oysters were incredibly fresh and served with thoughtful accompaniments. For the main courses, every dish was executed flawlessly. The steak was cooked to an impeccable medium-rare, tender, and seasoned perfectly, satisfying every craving. But the true star was the Duck Tagliatelle. The pasta was rich and perfectly al dente, complemented by a deeply savory, complex duck ragu that was pure comfort and luxury in a bowl. La Plume isn't just a meal; it's a full-on theatrical experience. Between the elevated entry, the hidden speakeasy, and the phenomenal food, it’s a must-visit destination.

I had brunch at La Plume, the beautiful French restaurant inside The Well, and it was such a lovely experience. The space feels elegant yet welcoming, with Parisian charm, soft lighting, and a calm atmosphere — a perfect weekend spot to unwind. Service was professional and friendly, and everything arrived in perfect timing. Prices are fair considering the location, quality, and ambiance. Overall, La Plume at The Well is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for an elegant French brunch in downtown Toronto. I’ll definitely be back to try their dinner menu soon.

Great food & service. My wife and I came here for lunch on our anniversary. The food and service was 10/10. They gave us prosecco on the house before lunch along with some chocolates for dessert which was very sweet. They also gave us menu recommendations on their favourite dishes and what was most popular. Hands down this may be the best french onion soup Ive had in the city (its a favourite dish of mine).

Beautiful restaurant in a vibrant neighbourhood! After walking around The Well for a bit, we made our way to La Plume for dinner. I strongly recommend making reservations as it gets quite busy, specially on weekends. Service was great. The ambiance was awesome. The decor is well thought out! The restaurant is quite large and sits many people. Their patio, in good weather, is just as large! Our drinks were awesome and delicious. We were so full and content after our meal - it was well worth it!! One of us ordered from The Summerlicious menu, it’s impossible to beat this good deal!!! The options to choose from were great. We shared our appetizers so we could taste more goodness!! Our meal was memorable from the very first bite to the last one. Well worth the cost of the gorgeous dinner ❤️ We parked under The Well, it is paid parking but we found it quite affordable considering where we were.

Yelp
loved the ambiance, def a lot of photo-worthy spots around the restaurant. we went for brunch a couple weeks back and it was about 70-75% full in the main dining room on a weekend. some memorable food included the french onion soup, chicken pot pie was presented in a unique way and the lamb sausage with beans with very hearty! some pics to show you what your next meal could look like :)

Yelp
Enjoyed happy hour at La Plume. Highly recommended the French Onion Sliders and French Onion soup! Service was friendly and attentive. Really love their patio and you feel like you aren't in Toronto.

Yelp
We checked out Le Plum at the well in Toronto for brunch. It's a French inspired restaurant with beautiful decor and a warm cosy atmosphere the attention to detail in both the design and the menu made for a great experience. We started with the breakfast bruschetta topped with labneh, heirloom, tomato, avocado, cucumber, olives, and basil on sourdough bread. It was fresh and flavorful, and surprisingly filling. The Labneh added a nice tank that tied everything together. I had the Laplume breakfast which came with two Sunnyside eggs, bacon, lamb merguez roasted mushrooms, potatoes, and sourdough bread everything was well seasoned and cooked perfectly especially the bacon which cooked perfectly and with savoury. My wife ordered the eggs. Benedict served on toasted croissant with spinach and hollandaise sauce accompanied by a house salad. She swapped the poached eggs for fried ones and it was delicious. The hollandaise sauce was rich and balanced, we finished off with the banofee waffles, which featured banana jam, banana caramel chocolate, Chantilly and maple syrup. It was rich and decadent definitely a sweet and way to end the meal. overall la plume offers a refined, yet brunch experience with thoughtful French touches. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to try something a little different in a beautiful setting The waiting staff was phenomenal.

Yelp
Located at The Well, La Plume is an Oliver Bonacini restaurant with a very French Bistro feel. They serve lunch, brunch and dinner and also have a happy hour menu. The restaurant is two levels and is accessible via an elevator. We came for brunch. What was ordered: - flat iron steak with frites with 2 eggs - crepe - puff pastry chicken pot pie The eggs with the steak came sunny side up, we were not asked if we wanted them differently but I am assuming they can accommodate if asked? The frites were amazing. Think McDonalds but with better seasoning. The pot pie comes with a small side salad and had hearty pieces of chicken and vegetables (carrots, peas and potatoes). Service was attentive and food came quickly. We would consider coming again if in the area.

Yelp
Cute french restaurant that serves brunch, lunch, dinner and happy hour. The menu is vegetarian friendly. The presentation of food was good and tasted decent. Our server was attentive and friendly. He introduced us to the speakeasy on the 2nd floor. Washrooms are clean. Restaurant is handicapped friendly. There's parking available on Wellington.

Yelp
La Plume, located at The Well, offers a delightful taste of Southern French-inspired cuisine in an elegantly decorated setting that transports you straight to France. I thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes we ordered for Saturday brunch, and highly recommend this restaurant, especially for fans of French cuisine. The Bar menu is quite extensive, and the cocktails I ordered were delicious, though the Qu'est-ce que c'est was a tad bit strong. Brunch is offered every Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM to 2:30 PM, and Happy Hour with 50% off beverages, and oysters from 2 PM to 5 PM. Generally, they offer Happy Hour drinks prices Monday from 4-5pm & Tuesday to Sunday from 2-5pm. The staff here were friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. They also have a patio for those who prefers to dine outdoors. La Plume is a great spot to enjoy the beautiful French ambiance, while savouring delicious dishes.

Yelp
My family and I with our extended family finally made it to The Well! So we were debating what to eat. We originally planned to go to another restaurant. After looking over the menu at La Plume, we were definitely swayed to come here. So we walked in, and their maitre d' was very helpful and pleasant to work with. She is very accommodating and also gave us a table more suited for our party of 7, she also helped us check our baggage (baby stroller) at the front. Big check mark right there. My family and I decided on a few dishes and I ordered the breakfast. Food came out not long after and this looked amazing. The merguez sausage was flavourful and got a good amount of spice. Very tasty brunch dish. The ambiance and environment is like a Parisian bistro with the decor. We really enjoyed our time here.

Yelp
If you walk by La Plume on a weekend, the place is absolutely rammed with the bunch crowd. I decided to check it out for a business dinner when it was a bit more quiet, and it was a pleasant spot. For dinner, we started off with the oysters and venison tartare, followed by the duck breast and french onion burger. Everything was good, but the dish that stood out to me was the french onion burger as it had unique flavors and was cooked perfectly. For dessert we had the marquise and creme brulee, both were good. Overall it was a nice spot with a pleasant ambiance. Service was really friendly and Brandon the bartender treated us really well. The food was a bit pricy for what it was, but it's worth trying once.

Yelp
Dropped by for their happy hour, 50% off drinks and oysters! We also got some snack on the side to give them a try. Happy hour oysters - Decent oysters. We got some PEI farmed oysters, unfortunately didn't taste of anything, felt like they washed them (including getting rid of the water) before serving. Truffle fries - Super delicious stick style fries, crispy outside and fluffy inside. Seasoned very well and comes with a tomato aioli which is basically ketchup and mayo. Would recommend and I would definitely get again! Burrata - It's a bit disappointing to see that the burrata only came as a half ball. There are some interesting flavours and textures ,but not my favourite burrata. Nice to try. Creme Brulee - Pretty good, nice crunch on top but a bit thick. Sable cookie was pretty, the feather, but a bit stale.

Yelp
The new-ish it spot in downtown Toronto, The Well boasts numerous eateries, most of which fall under the fast food variety. As I was searching for Winterlicious options near the area, La Plume looked the most promising; without a reservation I was hoping that I get lucky and lucky indeed I was. As a last minute walk-in, they were able to find me a spot at the bar, where the action is. I quickly grew a fondness for the French bistro vibe at La Plume. The restaurant was buzzing on a Saturday night and the patrons seem to be playing their part as I got 'accosted' by the party of three next to me. The birthday girl from the party asked me what kind of soup I was having as she thought it looked delicious. The scallop Provençal soup indeed was very good. Very savoury, homey and takes you back home, no matter where you originate from. Surprisingly, the scallops within the soup were cooked to perfection. The only issue I have is I'm not sure how the scallop added to the overall experience of the soup. While I was waiting for my main, the group was debating whether the truffle fries that they ordered were any good. They offered some to me and asked me for my opinion. The fries were quite good, but they could do a lot better with the dip. The dip was supposed to be a truffle aioli, but tasted more like a ranch sauce with hints of truffle to me. I shared my two cents with them, as the two who agreed with me gave me and each other high fives. I don't often talk to strangers, but this group seems to be extra friendly after a few drinks. I don't mind it since I was dining on my own and my phone battery was on its last leg. My main, the duo of beef arrived. The presentation was simple, but appetizing. Small rounds of roasted striploin sat on top of mini chunks of braised beef lying on a bed of potato purée. The mash potato was creamy without excessive amounts of butter. I actually enjoyed the braised beef way more than the steak. You really can't go wrong with the more homey, country style options at La Plume. The steak was not bad, but it could use more salt and pepper and definitely more caramelization. My new friends have since transitioned their conversation from the truffle fries to their religious views while I waited for my final course. The 64% Ecuadorian dark chocolate mouse was absolutely to die for. The sprinkles of sea salt elicited a crackle of flavour before you get hit by the intense chocolate flavours. The chocolate was smooth and rich. It's guaranteed to give any dark chocolate lover an orgasmic experience. Before I took off, the group was discussing the birthday girl's upcoming bachlorette party. Apparently, they are having it in my hometown, Hong Kong and they jokingly said that I should give them the low down on local spots. I was sent off with like 10 high fives from the birthday girl. Although La Plume did not offer up a flawless meal and the service was a bit slow, the ambience and the well executed stewed and braised items really got me to take a liking for this place. I hope to be back with more familiar company the next time around.

Yelp
100/10!!!!!! French inspired restaurant in the new spot in Toronto (The well mall) Again my belated birthday meal with my girl (The whole April just too busy to try different delicious restaurants with my lovely friends) The food I cannot say any negative about it! Just so delicious and fresh!!!! The crepe is so delicious, very tender!!! I'm not a fan of the crepe, but I changed my mind about it because of them.. And we also ordered truffle oil mix mushrooms tartare, shrimp tempura, and steak . The decoration if restaurant is so elegant! I hardly ever to take pic in the restaurant, but we did this time! I saw they do have happy hour event for drinking, unfortunately I with my girl didn't get a chance to enjoy it this time.. I will go back for sure to try their dinner soon

Yelp
La Plume by The Well is a nice French restaurant with a high ceiling and airy vibe about it. I definitely felt like I was transported to another world of oooh la la. The servers were attentive and friendly. They were happy to cater to our requests and questions. And we barely had to wait for our food to arrive. The cocktails were recommended by our server. I really enjoyed it as it was not overly sweet. We also ordered the venison tartare, the duck, curried mussels, and the branzino. The branzino was lovely without bones. Love the taste of the mussels, but I wish there were more sauce with it. Literally, everything was wonderful. Will definitely go back to try other dishes.

Yelp
La Plume located at The Well, is a new French restaurant opened by the Oliver and Bonacini restaurant group. The interior is beautiful where it transports you to another world. La Plume offers brunch, lunch, happy hour, and dinner. My friend and I decided to dine at La Plume for brunch on the weekend. We decided to make reservations just in case the place got busy. We arrived a bit earlier than our reservation but figured we would check in with the hostess/staff. Once we got checked in staff mentioned that we would be shortly seated. We waited about 5 min but 2 parties who came after us got seated first, which we found strange. I followed up with the hostess and she apologized as another staff had greeted us and failed to mention this to her. She led us to our table right away. Once at our table we looked over the menu and were greeted by our waiter shortly. After that our waiter wasn't really anywhere to be found. Another waitress actually came by to take our order. We also could tell the table beside us were not impressed or satisfied with the service they received. Food/beverage wise, we ordered the following: - Omelettte (four eggs, brie, asparagus, peas, brown butter crumble, potato allumentte) - French onion burger (gruyere, dijon & rosemary aioli, caramelized onion, served with fries) - Coastline sour - a mocktail (Monday gin, lemon, apple, rapsberry) - Free bird - a mocktail (seedlip spice 94, agave, lijme, passion fruit syrup) Food wise, the dishes we got were average. There was nothing to rave about and there was no wow factor. The mocktails we got tasted good, not too sweet. Overall, service could be improved on and the food was average. Would likely not return.

Yelp
Une soirée magnifique at this place! As a first-timer diving into the world of French cuisine, La Plume truly captured my heart and palate. The service and ambiance both were top notch. We began our evening with the classic French onion soup-rich, comforting, and perfect. Next up, the spaghetti vongole, a delightful surprise with its fresh, delicate flavors. The flat iron steak was cooked to perfection, and the Hudson Valley duck breast, paired exquisitely with a glass of pinot noir, was simply sublime. This was my favourite dish from the evening! We also tried their whole Branzino which was SO delicious! For dessert, the crème brûlée was the perfect mix of creamy and crunchy, and the chocolate marquise... oh là là, a chocoholic's dream come true! Highly recommend this place for a good French dining experience!

Yelp
The aesthetic was visually delightful, complemented by a warm, welcoming atmosphere. From the moment we walked in to the time we left, the service was consistently attentive--each staff member seemed to embrace their role with purpose and pride. We were impressed by the decor and thoroughly enjoyed the food, though we didn't get a chance to explore the speakeasy tucked away in the back. It's definitely on our list for next time.

Yelp
Here for their opening day on April 04, 2024, tonight with my family. We really enjoyed our experience at La Plume, a Southern French-inspired restaurant and bar at The Well in downtown Toronto. Although staff are all in training, they were all very professional, friendly, and courteous! We shared the following, and we highly recommend all items below! Everything from appetizers, entrées to desserts was amazing! * 1/2 dozen of Premium Oysters * Tempura shrimp, zucchini, green beans * Beef Cheek Pappardelle * Hudson Valley Duck Breast * Giannone Chicken (Rotisserie) * Rotisserie Pienapple Clafoutis * Chocolate Marquise Highly recommend La Plume for your next Toronto food adventure at The Well (facing Wellington Street, street level). I'll definitely be back again :)

Yelp
La Plume is located inside the Well at the Upper ground level or street level. The atmosphere was warm and gives you Paris vibes. Pretty casual so no need to dress up. Excellent service! Our server was very attentive and explained the dishes so well. We had the fois gra on a crepe and sweetbread with mushrooms on toast. I didn't realize sweetbread is actually the cheek of the cow. Tasted like chicken, so good! Our mains we had the valley duck, it was cooked medium rare and was so delicious. Our desert we ordered the chocolate cake with whipped cream and a drizzle of olive oil. The creme brûlée was delicious! Would highly recommend!!!

Yelp
Located upstairs in the new amazing architectural epicenter, the Well, La Plume is just gorgeous. I went with some girlfriends to celebrate a birthday and we were so happy with the great choices on the menu. We love the French onion soup at all of Chef Horne's restaurants, so it wasn't surprising that we ordered one each! Even with five french onion soups on the table, we couldn't resist ordering a couple of the scallop tartares and the rotisserie cauliflower salads to share. Loved the pine nuts which made the cauliflower pop! *chef's kiss* We got a variety of mains, including the ocean trout, branzino, mussels, Hudson Valley duck breast and the Giannone chicken. Big ups for the hors d'oeuvres and the chicken! After dinner we took the nifty elevator upstairs for our after party! After going through what seemed like a washroom door, we entered and got seated in the speakeasy. What a fun addition to the restaurant! It was a nice change of vibe for our dessert and drinks. I can't wait to enjoy this space in the summer and also bring other friends to experience this gem!

Yelp
Food is average. Service is very poor but friendly. We ordered the beef tartar, duck, crab risotto, octopus, striploin steak and branzino. Steak tartar was good but the rest was just ok. The restaurant vibe is trendy and not too loud. Decent for a date. Good pre fixe options. The service is poor as the hostess never checks tables, forgets to bring cutlery and glasses were often without water. Hostest would also forget to bring items we ask her to bring. She is a friendly person and it wasn't that busy so she wasnt overwhelmed. Would only come back for casual meals.

Yelp
Usually a do a lot of research before tselecting a restaurant Butnot this time. I justpicked La plume purely for theirmenu andand the look of the placeas the view of the their main dining room was stunning from the courtyard of The Welldhopping centre. Love this outdoor shopping centre. So nice to browse and mandgood great selectselection of places to eat! La PThis isthe first restaurant that I tried at this shopping centre and I will definitely be back to try the other restaurants.andanthere's an amazing food court if you don't want to to spend too much for a fancy meal as most of the restaurants look a bit pricey. Our server was excellent as she recommended the french onion soup to start and it was delicious. She also helped us talk to the chef to see if the steamed vegetables could be changed as I didn't want parmesan cheese and theythechef was able tosuggest a change tgarlicgarlic aioli sauce and it turned out really good. Overall ,a beautful place, excellent service and great food! We will definitely be back !

Yelp
Pretty solid French spot. Very nice ambience. Food wise I would say it's a solid 4/5 only because I find it slightly overpriced, but that's the aesthetic premium you have to pay for! We tried the beef tartare, scallop tartare, French onion soup and the duck pasta. The duck pasta was the only thing that didn't really slap for me- the sauce needed something extra and by the end my bf said it tasted like Campbell's soup. Not my favourite French place in Toronto but it's up there.

Yelp
Good experience at the new La Plume at the Well! We made a reservation so we were seated right away. I recommend you doing this on the weekend because it was quite busy. The atmosphere of this restaurant is beautiful, with high ceilings and a bar. We were seated near the door and we found the tables to be very close together and hard to get in and out. Our server was very nice and checked in on us, refilled our water. They were also very good with considering my companion's shellfish allergy. The food here is fresh, high quality and good, nice presentation, but not outstanding in taste. We got from the brunch menu: steak and frites, trout tartare, Paris brest, and creme brulee. I really liked the creme in the Paris brest, it had a great hazelnut flavour. Steak was cooked properly and fries were crispy. Two washrooms on the ground floor, there was a small lineup.
google avatar

Jennie A.

Yelp
Had a nice meal here, very friendly service and a nice ambiance. We split the beef cheek pappardelle for an appetizer which was tasty and I had the whole branzino as my entree. The fish was cooked perfectly and the lemon and leeks were a nice touch. It was delicious. The side of green beans was a bit odd, it had a strange brown sauce on top which didn't really go with the beans. The fries were good, thin and crispy. Overall a great spot for dinner, a little bit on the pricey side but very enjoyable.

Yelp
I was so happy to finally find something decent to eat in Toronto! This lovely French restaurant definitely brings you right to Paris with the classy decor and French outdoor seating chairs. My mother and I split the Caesar salad, French onion burger and half a dozen east coast oysters. This was a 5 star meal but I do have some take away opinions from my experience. We asked a woman that was working outside how to enter the establishment. She told us the side door and never came to seat as (we later found out she was the hostess after I found her) and we waited about 5 minutes as people walked by without even looking in our direction. They were semi busy so no big deal. My only other issue was we ordered the oysters to eat after our main course and they did not arrive for 30 minutes. No exaggeration! We asked the waitress why it was taking so long to shuck six oysters and she let us know about a new worker learning to shuck. That's great and all, but after about 20 minutes you're still going to wait for this slow poke? That was a little annoying and caused our lunch to run much longer than I would have liked, as I am on holiday and didn't come to Toronto to sit in a restaurant all day. Tis the real French experience I suppose! Other than that, the food was absolutely delicious. Genuinely a superb meal that I would recommend to anyone visiting Toronto!

Yelp
La Plume is a cool French restaurant. We ordered the Mushroom Tartar, half dozen of oyster as appetizers. Main dish we had the Duck Breast and the New York Strip. Loved the atmosphere, deco. The dishes are yum!

Yelp
This restaurant has a great ambiance! Definitely reminds me of a classic French cafe. Out of the dishes we had, the standout for me was the dessert, paris brest. I would come back just for this again. The service was also excellent. We came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and the restaurant added some nice touches for the celebration so if you're coming for a special event make sure to mention it. Overall a great addition to the French food scene in the city.

Yelp
Came here for winterlicious and was excited with the high reviews here but unfortunately it fell short. Got beef tar tar as well on top of the 3 course and the bread it was served with it was cold. The beef tar tar didnt have much flavour either. The main was the beef which was so tough and very bland. Its a beautiful space and service is great but sadly a let down on the food.

Yelp
We came for a 60 person wedding and used their space on the second floor for the night. Absolutely gorgeous vibes and we love the speakeasy - which was used for cocktail hour. Stunning and thoughtful decor for the era they were trying to recreate. There were plenty of staff hustling about and everything went so well. The food was all fantastic. From the cocktail hour bites (charcuterie, sliders, yuzu scallops, and drinks) to dinner food - all very consistent and delicious. Normally when you have a restaurant do 60 dishes at once, they don't really taste superb. Here though, I dared to order the steak and every persons came out perfectly medium rare. Kitchen staff deserve a huge kudos!! The apps were amazing too. Huge flavours in the french onion soup and a fantastic steak tartar. Very well balanced and love the variety of bread and chips that came with it. The only thing I'd say could use improvement for the restaurant as a venue is to ensure all staff are aware of the same information for the night. The staff serving food at the sit down menu were fantastic - following dietary restrictions and confirming information with the guests directly. The cocktail hour bar tenders however were a little confused. They were not all aware of the signature cocktail and mocktail options. Given the extreme attention to detail at all other aspects, that one inconsistency was a little off putting. Overall though, fantastic. They executed the event very well, accommodated quite a large variety of dietary restrictions, and were like a well oiled machine through out the dinner service and beyond. I definitely would love to come back for a regular dinner experience someday.

Yelp
Brandon is the best bartender. Always takes good care of us. Wonderful lunch spot. We go regularly And food is good.

Yelp
We took the pups for a walk to the Well to early Sat afternoon and needed a patio to have an early dinner. La Plumes patio is spacious and so we grabbed a seat! Food was amazing- my bf had the burger and I had the cauliflower, both were flavourful and a great amount of food. The fries are skinny and so well dressed! Service was friendly and super easy going! Was definitely a fun place to grab a drink and bite!

Yelp
Another great spot at The Well for happy hour! La Plume is one of the many new restaurants that opened serving french cuisine. There is an extensive food and drink menu and great options for happy hour. The interior is romantic and there is a spacious outdoor patio. our server was also fantastic. Highly recommended.

Kawei H.

Yelp
Went for Winterlicious and tried 9 different items. All were pretty good. Nothing stood out, per se. Good service from our waitress. Attentive and didn't not rush us out. Appreciated that. The restaurant interior was fancy and elegant with very high ceilings. Perfect girls night spot!

Yelp
Love the vibes and we really enjoyed our dishes! Had the beef tartare to start. Our mains were the steak frites (ny striploin) and ocean trout, then finished off with the crème brûlée. I'd order these dishes again without hesitation! Everything tasted so fresh, steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and trout was very flakey. Our server was also very attentive and I loved her positive attitude. We'll definitely be back!

Great service and pretty interior. The service was great and our waiter was so knowledgeable about the origin of the food. After hearing him telling us the origin of our dessert, it made the eating more enjoyable. Nice place.

Yelp
Went here for a Sunday brunch and got seated in the terrace. The weather was sunny, and the music made us feel like in France . Food was very good and service was even better. We had a couple of cocktails and they were not too sweet which I like. We wanted the burger medium well but it was overcooked .

Yelp
Another addition to the Well. La Plume is a French restaurant located directly across from another famous long standing Toronto French restaurant. Tough competition for sure. The evening was quite busy and service has been good. Staff checked in on us from time to time and kept our water full. Sweetbread was very buttery. The entrees might be a bit too seasoned for my taste. Would like to see what their brunch is like.

Yelp
Tempura Shrimp, Mushroom Tartare, Oysters great starters. Trout was a bit overcooked and salty. The sweet pea risotto that came with the trout was very good.

Yelp
French onion soup was D'lish- I didn't really care for their beef tartar and I asked for bread for the table and didn't realize there was a charge. I didn't really care for the bread or the olive oil dip, but the SB wine and the service and the ambience are wonderful.

Yelp
I've ordered from here often because I live close by. The food is good, service is variable, ambience is lovely. But, today I ordered the lobster pasta, and for $46 got one piece of lobster in the dish - literally one bite! I don't know whether they left the rest of the lobster in the pan, but this was very disappointing.

Yelp
Food was tasty but nothing groundbreaking Scallops had none of the sweetness you would expect (the pickles were the best part of the tartar) The clam spaghetti was full of short noodles and gritty crustaceans It's location in the Well so will likely do well Our server was lovely but there was an issue with the bill and it was extremely difficult to get a hold of manager and the issue was dealt with in the most minimal way possible but the customer service was horrible

Yelp
The decorations is very nice classic and food was good too. We ordered a spaghetti dish and the sauce was good and pasta was cooked al dente and to perfection. The other dishes we had were good as well. Better than the other O&B restaurants that I've visited.
