Jose and his wife were the perfect hosts in this beautiful remote hotel. It has five rooms that are warm and clean and the perfect place to stop after a long day walking in the beautiful Picos de Europa. Jose is a professional chef and cooked us a fabulous dinner and breakfast which he served himself. We were the only people staying in the hotel so he had time to talk to us about the area and the village which only has 30 inhabitants! If you are looking for a place that is quiet and rural with wonderful views of the mountains go and stay in this totally charming place.

We arrived here after a lovely 19k walk from Arenas de Cabrales. Welcomed by the host Jose, soon offering beers to us in his hotel garden. A very attractive small quiet wonderfully restored hotel tucked away in the hamlet of Pandiello, peaceful and comfortable.||Jose cooked us a marvellous vegetarian meal and advised over a range of local and regional wines. The rooms were small but cosy, and breakfast was a treat. Jose showed us our route ahead to Bobida de Arida and off we went. A very pleasant overnight stay in such an attractive pretty region.

We stayed for one night on a walking holiday - arriving from Las Arenas. Jose was a great host and made us very welcome. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Dinner, Breakfast and our picnic lunch were delicious. Some of the best food on our travels around picos Di Europa.

We walked to this charming hotel though some fairly steep terrain. Since it had been booked for us we had no idea what to expect. The hotel is a large (and very comfortable) house, beautifully restored and decorated with three or four rooms.||||The host was very pleasant and helpful with some English and with my limited Spanish to help out we got by. ||||Be warned that this is in a farming village and you will be awoken at dawn by dogs, roosters and vehicles.||||The meals were basic but entirely adequate. The Spanish habit of not eating dinner until 9pm was a bit of a trial for three hungry hikers!

We arrived tired after a long hike and were warmly welcomed by the very unassuming Jose. He was a very understated host who made us at home in his and Marivi's tranquil oasis. Food was incredible! He put in so much work to produce a top restaurant quality dinner and breakfast just for us! We were blown away by Asturias and this little gem was part of the reason.

Perched high up in the hills this cottage affords wonderful panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. It's a wonderful place to return to after a days walking or sight seeing.||Jose is a friendly and attentive host and provides a wonderful breakfast, the best we had on our whole trip.||The fact that there was no tv in the room was a bonus for us, who needs it with a view like this. And the WiFi's weakness was down to the rural location rather than any thing Jose had done or could do.||On another note, our room had disabled access, I guess every room on the accommodation floor could be, then I assume breakfast would be served to the room as the breakfast room was downstairs and not wheelchair accessible.

Nice quietly rural place, high up the hills. Very nice view from the window.|Good location for : Llanes (sea), Covadonga, Cares trail, Cangas de Onis; right in the middle, all within 30 min.|Very clean quiet room, good bed, nice view and pleasant breakfast with always fresh orangejuice (Big plus!)and some homebaked pastry. The choice of sandwichspreads could have some improvement; we had better in Asturië.|Wifi weak but mostly working.|We missed a warm welcome which was rather detached and reserved. Maybe the owner was not used to receive 2 men, or was it the Asturian way? But after some days ( we booked 5 nights and where most of the time the only guests), he turned out to be very friendly and really helpfull by arranging us a nice horse ride, and advising us just the good places to walk and to visit on the seaside. |The room was a bit small, not fit to stay during the day. For us It was not really clear if the livingroom downstairs was for common use or mainly for private use. One evening we invited ourselves to play cards in this room. |Big plus: Host speaks english!! (Very rare in Asturie).

A beautiful mountain village retreat. Arriving on foot to the sound of cowbells and a lovely sunset. Set in the sleepy village of pandiello you sense you've travelled back in time but with the added bonus of wifi!A guesthouse of character with some quaint touches. José was a perfect host and cooked us a delicious meal of stuffed peppers and albondigas followed by a yummy breakfast of an egg, ham and cheese tart. Will hopefully return someday
