La Posada del Puente

I loved this hotel. It's a gem. It's in the shadow of the bridge, but you'd never know. It feels like an oasis from the city even though the centre is a short walk away. The restaurant and gardens have views of El Misty up above and the Chilli river down below and are very restful. The gardens catch the sun. The breakfast is wonderful. The staff could not be more helpful. It can get a little cold but we slept very well and the value for money was extraordinary. Thank you for such a happy stay. I'm so glad we found you.

My wife and I opted for this venue due to its captivating blend of Arequipa's architectural charm. The inclusive breakfast exceeded expectations—kudos to Mr. Victor for impeccable service in the stunningly designed restaurant. Special mention to Mr. Fidel, consistently cheerful, providing water and delightful treats nightly. Though we encountered a bathroom ceiling leak prompting a room change, the swift and effective response from the hotel staff left us impressed. Despite the absence of AC, the overall room ambiance and comfort, coupled with the local weather, made our stay delightful. A solid 5-star choice; if returning to Arequipa, it would be our top pick. Gratitude to everyone involved!

Its location is unique: an oasis in Arequipa, right next to its oldest bridge and the Chili river. A hotel you would not expect in the middle of a city, with lush gardens and nice rooms, with balconies. Nicely furnished, clean, very friendly staff, good breakfast - all good.

This was the best place we stayed in during our 7 week journey in Peru. High-quality food, comfortable rooms, beautiful garden and amazing view on the surrounding volcanos, and very friendly and professional service. Enjoyed every moment of our stay, thank you!

We absolutely loved this hotel. They allowed us to check in at 6am, gave us pre-packed lunches for our tours, chocolate before bed, great restaurant, ordered us a taxi, etc. The staff were so helpful and we couldn’t be happier.

Our stay at this hotel was very enjoyable. The surrounds are picturesque, with views of the neighbouring volcano and the historic bridge over the river Chili. The gardens are tranquil and the presence of a llama and peacocks make for a unique experience.the meal were good and the room was well appointed and very comfortable. The service was outstanding and superior to that in many other so-called developed nations.
