La Posta Apart Hotel Ushuaia

We stayed in the large private apartment with 4 adults and 2 kids and the place was perfect for us. The owners live next door and were incredibly kind and helpful, suggesting nearby hikes and ensuring we had everything we needed. The location was conveniently near the airport and close to some scenic walks along the beach - it's a long walk to town but there are Ubers and Taxis readily available. I highly recommend La Posta if you want a safe, comfortable and affordable place to stay in Ushuaia!

Terrific experience here. We stayed in apartment B. Very comfortable bed, kitchen stocked enough that we could cook meals with groceries from the tienda down the street. Super friendly staff. La Posta is close to the airport, outside the main commercial area of Ushuaia. Quiet street. Taxis are easy to flag and Uber operates here. Right now it's crazy-cheap to taxi everywhere. I'd stay here again.

Loved my stay at La Posta 😊 The girl at the reception was amazing! She really helped me when I was having a hard time with an airline company. She was the sweetest. Thanks again! The breakfast was excellent, and the place was clean. It is very close to the airport which is a good thing. You can walk to the hostel from the airport (nice scenic walk). Would recommend to anyone 😊

Very friendly and helpful staff. The hostel is located close to the airport and about a half an hour walk into the city. The rooms were dry, warm and clean, which after a day of hiking will be appreciated. Free breakfast buffet served every morning with bread and cereal. Enjoyed my stay there a lot and would recommend as a good base for exploring the surrounding area.

La Posta was a really friendly place! It's very clean and pretty quiet, definitely not a "party" hostel. I appreciate that they close one of the kitchens after 22:00, so it's quiet for the rooms next to the kitchen. The breakfast provided was pretty basic - some breads, one type of cereal, coffee/tea/juice - but adequate. It is a half hour walk to the center of Ushuaia, so the location is a little out of the way. I stayed there for 2 nights before going on an Antarctic cruise. After returning from the cruise 10 days later, I had about 6 hours before I needed to go to the airport of my flight home. I didn't really want to spend the day in a restaurant with all my luggage. I asked if I could just hang out at the hostel until I needed to go the the airport, and they were fine with that. I could put my luggage in the luggage room and had access to WiFi. I really appreciated that! That staff was really helpful.

Really nice hostel. Good size lockers. Everything was nice and clean. Helpful staff A little far from the city, but very close to the airport, great for arriving with your bags. Just buy a Sube card and take the bus for 35 cents! A little expensive, but not bad considering everything in Ushuaia (other than the bus) is a rip off.

We loved our stay at this hostel. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and it is clean. The hostel has two kitchens which is useful, and offers a small breakfast. If you want to go to the national park, the staff will call the bus company to pick you up outside the hostel before taking you to the bus terminal where you can get the bus to the park. Easy!

La Posta is conveniently located very close to the airport and the city centre. It offers great rooms (we were in one of the apartments that accommodate easily up to 4 guests) with private bathroom and small kitchenette. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. Breakfast is included and is very good. Rooms are comfy and offer all necessities.
