What a gem . Booked a night for a relaxing getaway , and it did not disappoint. The road to peace and tranquility is a bit of a challenge ( remember not all roads are paved ) , however parking is free and as soon as you enter the grounds you feel at ease . The dome rooms are high end of glamping, with fire pit just outside your front door, private and enjoyable. The property is adjacent to a lagoon , with an array of birds . We had dinner at the resort , and felt very well taken care off .

We were staying up the hill at their sister property, Villas La Mar, and were told we had to try breakfast at La Poza. So we did. Our order was simple: Two cups of coffee Two orange juices One plate of chilaquiles with chicken One scrambled egg plate with chorizo One bottle of water Now, before you guess what that came to—brace yourself. We travel to Baja frequently and stay in boutique hotels all the time, so we’re no strangers to the occasional markup. But this? This was on another level entirely. The total bill came to $70 USD—before tip. For two very ordinary breakfasts. When I saw the check, I was genuinely stunned. Yes, the prices were listed, so technically that’s on me, but I couldn’t believe the audacity. It felt less like a premium dining experience and more like a blatant attempt to take advantage of visitors who don’t question the bill. The service was mediocre, the food was fine, and the setting was nice—but nothing about this meal justified that price tag. Paying nearly one-third of a night’s room rate for a basic breakfast is beyond absurd. This experience completely soured my view of their brand. I wouldn’t return to La Poza—or any of their sister properties—on principle alone. There’s a difference between charging upscale prices and outright gouging your guests.

This was a sad disappointment. The hotel is very far from Todos Santos in a rough area that is difficult to access. Our check-in process was abrupt and we were not welcomed. Very unusual for any property we've stayed at in Mexico over the last 15 years. There is no direct beach access. In order to get to the beach, we were told we could drive 10 minutes, walk for 30 minutes on an unmarked path, or take personal kayaks and "find our way" The room was the next disappointment. We read great reviews online, but our room was old and dirty, there was no television, and the towels were threadbare. Neither the bedside table nor the safe worked and the refrigerator was filthy. Finally, we attempted dinner. After being chastised by the waiter for not speaking fluent Spanish, we received a glass of white wine that was orange and clearly not drinkable. When we asked for bottled water, we were brought a pitcher filled from the tap. My husband ordered "French Onion" Soup. What was served was a bowl of hot water with garlic and raw onions. After one taste, we asked for our check and decided not to eat at their restaurant. Because the road coming in was so treacherous and not marked, we didn't attempt to get back to Todos and decided to pass on dinner. I can see the appeal of the lush garden and the swimming pool, but other than that, this was by far the worst misrepresentation we have ever seen online. Traveler beware!

Incredible place. Peaceful. Beautiful setting, especially in the domes with a view of the water (La Poza). Excellent food, good service overall though a bit slow at times. The domes are really awesome, especially with the gas fire pits. Amazing waking up to the birds. Only suggestion? A little work on the rooms would easily command a higher price. A bit musty smelling inside. That said, we loved it and we will be back!

Loved my stay at La Poza and looking forward to visiting again! It’s such a hidden gem. We loved it. The property is beautiful and the staff are so kind and provided excellent service throughout my stay. Would love to return soon. For people coming from out of the country: you will need a rental car to get to the hotel. It’s down a dirt road near the ocean. We had no issues getting around, but want to flag. :)

Stayed at La Poza for five days in May. Weather was spectacular and the hotel was like being in paradise. I had a King Dome right on the lagoon and was serenaded by birdsong which was lovely. Enjoyed several meals at the restaurant at tables out on the sand. The food and the service was excellent. I enjoyed just hanging out by the pool or walking into town via the palm grove. Todos Santos is a charming town with great restaurants, galleries and shops. It was a perfect, relaxing and rejuvenating stay.

I absolutely loved my stay here! I came at the end of May for 5 nights / 6 days. I stayed in the waterfront king dome and it was so incredibly peaceful. The entire team and staff is amazing, they all knew me by name by the second day and made me feel so comfortable and at home. The service is excellent. I had several meals at Na Ha and the food was excellent. I would’ve eaten every meal here, but there are some amazing restaurants in town as well. I was comparing this hotel with other recommended ones in the area but none of them have the lush landscape that La Poza has. The lagoon is an oasis and you can hear the sound of the ocean in the distance. I was also glad they had starlink because I had to take a few work calls while staying, which worked perfectly. I will note that there were two mornings where the power went out for a couple of hours but after researching that is just the nature of this region and has nothing to do with the hotel specifically. Just something to be aware of. Overall I think joyed my stay and hope to be back some day!

The two desk ladies Sarah and Acucena were so sweet and helpful. We loved being g off the beaten path. You definitely need to rent a car as there’s nothing in walking distance. The ground were clean as was the hotel. The pool was so nice. It was pretty empty during our stay so it was quiet. I think that the restaurant could do/offer more or better options. More vegetarian options and may e smoothies or bowls. If you want a quiet and peaceful place to stay in a pristine location I recommend here. There’s no swimming in the ocean in todos santos so recommend a day trip to La Paz or Cerritos.
