La Princesa de la Isla

We ended up in this accommodation by chance in November 2019 after actually booking something else that didn't meet our expectations (hygiene). We then walked along the beach to find other accommodation and luckily came across Princesa de la Isla. After the dogs properly drew attention to us, the two owners came out and, without any hesitation, accommodation was prepared for us where we could spend the night. This place is absolutely heavenly, I spent several nights there sitting on the beach and admiring the beauty of nature. The hosts are very friendly, the food is great, the rooms are spartan but clean.

Beautiful rustic property built by the owner - an interesting lady with an even cooler story! Sadly we missed the renowned pasta. Make sure you make a reservation for it - everyone on both islands speak of it.|Disliked · Not sure if it was just the time of year but the heat in the room was stifling. Us and another couple sat outside until 2am when it semi started to cool down - the fan in the front room just did not allow the air to circulate. I finally fell asleep when some storm winds started to blow in the room.

My wife and I stayed here for four nights and were not disappointed. ||The room was clean, well appointed and very cosy. There were little deck chairs to sit out on outside looking right out at the water and pretty beaches nearby. It was truly an island getaway with the only "noise" being that of the waves on the shore to lull you to sleep at night.||The Italian owners were so friendly and helpful right from the moment we arrived. They could not do enough to make our stay something positive to remember. They serve traditional Italian food, and coffee, in their restaurant but take note that you must book in advance. It is totally worthwhile though if you do eat there. I would have no doubts in staying here again. Just a lovely place to stay!

Really fantastic! We stayed 1 night and it felt very special. The beach is amazing for swimming, the hosts are very friendly and the bedrooms are much nicer than the pictures would suggest. The food is cooked by the hosts, a passionate Italian couple. It's delicious!!!

AMAZING. If you doubt about booking the right location to stay on Corn Island: Book here! We had a wonderful experience that honestly couldn't be better. - Perfect service from the lovely Italian couple. - Spacious, clean and romantic bungalows on the beach. - Fantastic restaurant organised by the same couple. We had the best food since a while here and the cocktails are amazing. MUST TRY!! - Close from the airport and easy to get around by taxi for only 25 Cordoba per way. - Silent beach with sunset, white sand and blue waters. Also snorkeling possibilities in front of the bungalows where you can spot planty of beautiful fishes. We couldn't have a better time on the island then we got here. My recommendation is to contact them directly and check the availability through email of phone.

Amazing place where to stay in Corn Island. The couple who run this hotel are very welcoming, caring and friendly. If you need anything, just ask them as they are always very happy to help. The rooms are very big, beautiful and very very clean. The views are breathtaking, you can stay all day sitting on the garden looking at the sea or the sunset! We highly recommend this place as it is very comfortable and beautiful.

If I was able to do 6 stars I would. After a great day of scuba diving we were ready for a nice romantic dinner. To start we had our private table near the ocean with our wine of choice. Our favorite place on Corn Islands. The food was amazing and the owners were so authentic and attentive to our every want and need. Beautiful views along with amazing song and harmony. We loved it and made our anniversary unforgettable. The Spaghetti and Lobster with the special sauce were to die for. AMBIANCE TASTEFUL NICARAGUA AND ITALY CLASH FOR PURE PERFECTION CIAO BELLA

Second visit to Princesa de la Isla and had a great experience. You must call ahead with your reservation and order and are attended by the owners, Alessandro and Costanza who offer great service, conversation and home made Italian food. Highly recommended when visiting Corn Island for a beachfront meal.
