Google
One of my pinned location! Happy we got to have lunch here! Location, make sure you find this place a it's at the back lanes. It's a good quiet location. Atmosphere, the place indoor is really nice, creative and lovely. Really like it. Food, really yummy! 😋 love the food and recommendation. If you are not into cold cuts, this would not be the place for you. Amazingly has horse meat, deer meat etc. The combination are arranged daily and no regrets with our order. Service, fast for serving. Took a little while for waiting for table but otherwise, it's all swift and lovely. The price is reasonable. Coperto was not high compared to others.

Google
Great food, great wine. Pretty hard-core mind you. Not the place for vegetarian types. I got a massive amount of carpaccio and a smaller plate of horse Carpaccio 🐎 as a starter. Awesome.

Google
We had an amazing lunch with excellent recommendations both for food and wine. A must visit while touring Siena!

Google
SO good, and the coolest atmosphere. We visited this past November - The owner was outside chatting with us, and the sandwiches were delicious. Must try!! Il Classico was 10/10

Google
We had a cold cuts which was 14 euros for two and 2 sprits it was very nice but I do think it was bit more than what we expected price wise cause the total was 29.50 we missed aperetivo just by 7 minutes and said we cannot have aperetivo. However overall it was nice quite enjoyed the passion sprits something quite new !

Google
Excellent platter of cold meats and cheeses, exactly what I wanted. The smoked deer caparcio was great, the beef tartar was a bit lacking in seasoning (I had the "traditional ") and was only okay. House wine is very good and very cheap. Would definitely go back and just order a different main.

Looked for a place that is not in the center of the tourist area, and this place had good reviews so we went in. One thing that is not relevant to my review or rating: Stop using online menus!! It's not comfortable, and it makes it harder to decide what you want. The staff was friendly and helpful and the place was clean and had a nice vibe. The restaurant uses disposable cutlery, made of wood, which is ok for the mix platter, but not so much for the pasta. If you do get the pasta, ask for real fork and knife. They have a few left, so if they can they will give it to you. We ordered a mix platter and two pasta dishes, with 2 glasses of wine. The wine was nice. Not bad. Not extremely good. Nice. Good for a quick lunch. The mix platter looked wow!! Colorful with different meats, cheeses, and some veggies. Really pretty. Too bad the taste doesn't match. It wasn't bad. Not at all. But I have made better tasting platters with ingredients I bought at the supermarket. The pasta dishes looked and smelled really good, and we were ready for a hearty dish. Again, the flavor didn't match the look. Again, it wasn't bad. It was just a little bland, or flat. The pasta ragu looked like it was cooked for many hours, like it should, but the flavor wasn't there. The ravioli had a nice filling, and the nuts on it added a nice crunch, but where is the flavor??? Where is the flavor of the butter, of the cheese, the cream, the salt?!? The total was €42 including a small bottle of water. Not very expensive as a price, buy not a good value for money, in my opinion.

The service was amazing - we got a free wine lesson from our waiter-somelier ;) The food was just perfect!

Yelp
Our lunch here was good, but not great. We split a tagliere, which I had been impatiently waiting for all trip. The meats were delicious, and I savored every last bite. However, neither of us were in love with the cheeses they chose. After eating so many flavorful cheeses throughout Tuscany, the cheeses they put on our board were quite bland, and the various crostini were bland as well. The board itself is gorgeous, a real feast for the eyes. I think it looked better than it tasted, which is why I'm only giving this place 3 stars. Size-wise, it's just right. I believe we got a medium board, and it was the perfect amount of food for two hungry people. The price was reasonable, and the restaurant itself is very eclectic. It looks like a narrow deli/bar at the front (which is where you order), but if you go all the way to the back of the restaurant, it feels like you're in an old Victorian house, and there is a nice view from the window. We enjoyed relaxing here and chatting over our tagliere even if it didn't wow us.

Yelp
Discovered this hidden gem looking for a late-night meal and thrilled we did. The food is excellent - we tried everything and loved it all - at a very reasonable price. Really cool atmosphere, too. We ended up coming back again. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Sandwiches are alright--I've only enjoyed the number 4, which has soft cheese, zucchini, and salami. Their bread is very very salty and there is personally too much of it, I would take the top off and just eat the bottom with the fillings. The number 1 is pretty plain (just prosciutto and cheese). My friend tried the number 5 and hated it. Their cheese boards may be a better deal than the sandwiches.

Yelp
Fantastic charcuterie. We had the house platter of salamis, prosciutto, cheeses and breads slathered with various spreads, tomatoes etc. and it was HUGE! We ate it all, and with few glasses of the house red were full. But then I noticed these big platters of steak tartares leaving the kitchen. I couldn't resist and ordered a Wagyu steak tartare prepared with lime, eggplant and God knows what else. Man it was good! Slimy, salty, moist, meaty...I know it doesn't sound great but it was!! Sure they could have turned the a/c on a bit more, and yes the joint is crowded and the wait time for the food is long, but what the hell?! It's just a couple of guys with a meat slicer and some really good meat and cheese! What do you want and what more do you really need? All that for about 50 euros. Go enjoy.

Yelp
This place is an absolute must! Good service, the most delicious board of meats, cheeses, veggies, and of course delicious wine! I wish we had a place like this back home. If you come to Siena you must visit this place!

Yelp
Super fun and quirky place! We were definitely not cool enough to eat here ;) Food was great and the wine selection was amazing As is true With most places in this area. Make sure you get a reservation in advance.

Yelp
Holy Ham and wine! We came across this place after my friend checked up on Yelp. Since we're Americans who eat at around 6:00PM, the place was deserted, which was fine by me. We chose to eat downstairs which is huuuge and includes some funky trinkets and a wine cellar. We ordered a platter of the finest cheeses and meats which were to die for! I have no idea what they were, but we didn't care; that and with the Italian music playing, we enjoyed this place so much! Come here for the snacks and wine. Stay forever cause it's just that darn cute.

Yelp
We had a quick lunch yesterday and ordered a panini and appetizer tray for two. It was delicious ! The value for the price and what you get was amazing. The appetizer tray was so good, I know when I get back home, I'll be thinking about this amazing find while in Siena. The staff were very nice, helped us despite our language barrier. One of them was surprised when we had to leave soon , and asked if the food was ok. The food was absolutely ok but our bus might take off soon, we had to eat in a rush and put some of the food in the plastic plates. I wish we had more time to sit and enjoy the experience. Grazie to the staff and crew.

Yelp
Sandwich was dry and very salty. No spread and bread was extremely oily. I would not recommend taking a panini or sandwich.

Yelp
Excellent. The charcuterie for 2 has quite a plethora of meats, fresh fruits, such as nectarine, figs, and grapes, and the two options of bread and bruschetta topped if off. We enjoyed some of their local craft beers and the lunch tray for 2, which held us over all evening. Delicious!

Yelp
(March 2015 Review) Hands down the second best meal I had in Italy over a two week vacation. The crew working the counter were absolutely awesome and very eager to answer any questions. The pure art form of food they brought out was wonderful! Prices were stellar as well, make this a must on your trip to Siena.

Yelp
I stopped here for lunch during a day trip to Siena. I was alone so I ordered the small board (5 euros) and a glass of their sweetest red wine (2.50 euros). The board consisted of two types of salami, prosciutto, cheese (I can't remember the name), three slices of bread with different spreads, and veggies drizzled with balsamic. There was also a bowl of sliced bread on the side. Everything was delicious. I would definitely return & recommend it to others who visit Siena!

We are staying at an AirBnB down the street and we were blown away by the quality, presentation and price of this gem!! Amazing charcuterie boards and for a very reasonable price. So good we went back twice! Great place for an appetizer and then we went elsewhere for dinner. The woman who helped uwas extremely friendly and helpful as well!

Yelp
This place is one of the coolest wine bars I have ever been too. In fact I went here 3 times. You can select a platter of some of the finest meats, cheeses and olives to munch on whilst drinking some of the best local wines that are on offer. The house wines that are superb start out at about €4 per glass.. They also have a selection of beers and soft drink. The atmosphere here is incredible. It is housed in an old historic building where you go down a set of stairs to some cellars with tables. They play some funky music to keep you entertained. If the weather is fine there are also some tables on the side street. It has free wifi. It is situated inside the walls of the city about 200m from the amazing Piazza del campo. If you want to have a nice relaxing drink with some fantastic fresh produce to eat head to this place.. You will not be disappointed. The staff speak pretty good English and are very helpful when it comes to selecting wines and food.

Yelp
This place is fantastic - the owner is charmingly friendly and the stupid-pumping Greenday / Paramore / Bon Jovi mix behind the hanging meats, ecclectic lighting choices and spirling options for seating - it's a calling to relax on this off side street in Siena. I'd come here for the snack boards and while didn't see it on the menu (I have not worked on my Italian in any way, food culture is food culture respect no matter the language from what I can tell) I asked about the "Snack Board" and the owner immediately brightened even more - I guess he was well known for this! He offered for us to grab a seat and he'd put the board together. We wandered down into the seating options but chose to sit outside since it was shaded by the building - what I'd initially think of as weird but smart benches and tabletops picnic-style right along the building in the alleyway looking down to the passer-bys and would later see as commonplace in Siena. Wine came out first - solid recommendations and I really enjoyed mine so much I'd snag a bottle on the way out. Then came the snack board - an EPIC, EPIC (Not kidding we had fully two families stop, gawk and phone photo us picking on our appetite, but hey We had just come off a long bike ride in the tuscan hills so yeah, you don't feel guilty attacking) spread which the owner went over - Ricotta and Sundired tomatoes, truffle oil on beef carpaccio, prosciutto from the local hills so it was thicker with a spice to it, tomato and raddicchio with balsamic, pears and honey, two other spreads on bruschetta - we plucked along polishing off the quality ingredients and luxuriously dipping the prosciutto into the genergous leftovers of truffle oil. Loved that, entirely. Ate it fully - we had an appetite and the selection was incredibly welcome for us. Got my wine on the way out (if you like it, buy it!) and felt that overall value was there - friendly, hip, easy, supremely tasty and welcome recommendations. All you would want from a Meat, wine & snacks stop (if a little heavy on the Greenday ;))

Yelp
Excellent lunch spot! Not very touristy but close to the main piazza. Sandwiches and mixed plates

Yelp
Loved this little wine bar tucked in off the beaten path in Siena. Delicious meat & cheese board (we just asked the owner to bring a sampler) and great wines. Reasonably priced. Outdoor seating is charming but be sure to check out the eclectic decor inside. Exactly what we were looking for as a before dinner bite to eat.

Yelp
This spot is so eclectic and fun! The charcuterie board is as extravagant as other review say it is and delicious to boot. You'll get a wonderful spread of cheeses, meats, breads & spreads. We tried a Chianti Classico that was very smooth. If you go all the way to the back, they have a room where each light is made with cloth and a bike wheel! I've never seen anything like it :)

Davis W.

Yelp
Far and ways the best meat/cheese/snack board I have found in Siena. Very friendly staff and great selection! If you ask about the different wines they are more than happy to help you decide on the right glass for you. Be sure to check out the view from the clubhouse straight back from the main door.

Yelp
By far the best food I had in Italy ! My best friend and I were on a hunt to find this place in Siena! And we did it's a tiny little shop on the corner. We went in and ordered a board for 2 and each got a glass of wine. We were led down narrow stairs to a basement setting seating. It was so cool ! The decor was awesome! One of the coolest places I had been to in Siena for sure. Food like this is what makes me wanna go back !

Jay T.

Yelp
What a great recommendation found via Yelp, if you like a Charcuterie this is the place to go... local flavor and ambiance on a side street in Siena.. the Chianti recommendation was superb and reasonably priced. The meat and cheese plate was delicious and LARGE. What a nice experience.

Yelp
OK - they take their time making your charcuterie. But, the result is pure art. It was delicious, and fun to sit outside. Get the big board for two - comes with wine. Really lovely way to pass an afternoon.

Michelle C.

Yelp
Excellent fresh food that is typically Italian. Friendly and efficient service. Lots of locals eat here which is a good sign.

Yelp
Stopped by here as a recommendation by our Airbnb host. She described it as "quite simple, but very good". While I wouldn't agree it was simple food, it was more than 'very good'. It was lunch so my mom and I stopped by for a glass of their house red wine and decided to get the 20€ meat and cheese board to share (25€ total with the wine) It was huge! We should have gotten the 10€ board. But not one to let food go to waste, we gobbled up all the meaty yumminess. There was a selection of 5 different meats, 3 cheeses, vegetables, and 3 breads with a spread of some kind plus a bowel or cut bread. If you are looking for a good sampling of cured meats and cheeses, and want something off the well beaten tourist path, this is a place to NOT miss!! We happily went and had a heart attack in the next alley after all that saturated fats. Of course they offered meat sandwiches too (many locals were grabbing those to eat with friends) if a heart attack isn't in you plan book.

Yelp
We stumbled on this and what a great find! Get the boards! Beautifully presented and so tasty. You eat downstairs in what feels like a family wine cellar. It is self serve w plasticware but really good food.

Gavin C.

Yelp
Great spot in Siena! Stopped here after a day of driving through Tuscany and it hit the spot. They offer salami platters in 3 sizes. We ordered the medium size for 10euros each and a couple glasses of chianti. Great choice!

K. Fleurange R.

Yelp
Great value for money and easy way to try many delicious flavors! I loved that they put the platter together for you, let the experts do their work and you don't have to choose!
