I used to come here years ago when I lived in Edinburgh, and am delighted that the quality hasn't declined at all. The food is a bit pricey but worth it for the quality of ingredients and cooking. The restaurant is a beautiful place to be, and the service was attentive. One of my favourite places to eat in Edinburgh.

I've been here a few times and every time it's been so lovely! Bright & cosy decor, 2 course lunch is such a great value and very tasty. I particularly enjoyed hake with lemongrass & coconut. Everything was cooked so well...fish was so moist, delightful sauce, not too light or heavy, just perfect. Plus veg with a nice crunch & buttery mash. We were so full after mains but couldn't resist creme brûlée... It was the perfect dessert to finish. The place was busy, but the service was very friendly and efficient. Highly recommend ✨

Had a delicious 2 course lunch - mussels followed by duck. Sat in the downstairs window with the sun beaming through and enjoyed - in the lovely atmosphere. Waitress was very welcoming and attentive.

We were a little early for our restaurant booking so had an aperitif downstairs in the wine bar, which was a fantastic start to our lunch. Excellent staff and choice of wines. The room is big with benches and tables plus a mezzanine. The restaurant, despite some comments is very rustic french. Great atmosphere and the food is of a very high standard for the price. I've been a few times and it's always consistent and the service friendly and efficient. It's always busy with a great buzz of conversation. No piped music either, hoorah🤓.

Amazing food, very high quality and delicious. Quite pricey, but the portion sizes are huge and the ingredients are fresh so it’s worth it!

Excellent French cuisine with a modern twist. They do a delicious Christmas menu of 3 dishes for a little over 20 pounds and it is so worth it. The building itself is lovely, so definitely a place to come back on a special occasion

Very lovely French restaurant with tasty food and excellent service. We had a starter and then the meat, that was tender and perfectly cooked. The Crème Brulée is delicious. A place to come back to.
