Area is a bit sketchy but they are doing their best by having a gated fence around the property. Front desk lady was kind and patient. Elevator worked fine and hallways were clean. Room smelt clean and everything looked up to par. Good channels on the TV and a lot of outlets. I was a bit lost finding the iron and the board but it’s behind the mirror. Beds were a bit too soft for my taste but that’s a me problem. Pillow were alright could add 1 more. Shower was good and the free products were good brand and smelt great. Breakfast smelt good but couldn’t get any. Good hotel for a good price and would stay here again 8/10

Great stay at La Quinta PHX/I10. Receptionists were all helpful and polite, no stress check-in/out. I found this LQ location to be genuinely pet-friendly, pets were allowed practically everywhere without the bat of an eye. Loved the overall cleanliness here, so impressive— I felt comfortable and safe throughout my stay in this regard. The location itself was decently contemporary overall, not dated or run-down. Amenities were of good quality, I liked the basic variety offered. Their gym was pretty impressive, and the breakfast bar was good. I also appreciated that my room was decently stocked with basic necessities and minor wants. Room AC and blackout curtains were great, and good cable TV was available to pass the time although WiFi was bad. I felt generally safe at this LQ location, security measures like well lit public areas and key card entrance absolutely everywhere put me at ease. I will say I found the hotel to be rather small overall. I also felt the green turf around back for pets was a little too musty for comfort, bare rocks would’ve felt more sanitary. All in all, I’m content and impressed with my experience here— I’m happy to stay again :) UPDATE: Had my second stay here and most of the above still applies, love consistency. Room cleanliness was not AS great as before— bathroom floor was sticky, crumbs on carpet, crumbs in the sheets. Main/only? kitchen crew member has been notably rude each stay (older brunette woman, raccoon eyes). My first stay, she was openly annoyed when I simply asked her when breakfast ends as she put out more food. My second stay, she was outright respectful when I let her know I finished the waffle batter as she came out to survey the dining area. I told her out of courtesy (to her), but she cut off the far back end of my sentence with a loud/cold “OKAY” and rolled her eyes away from me. She was openly polite and friendly to the following guests that approached her. I’ve never interacted w this woman outside of what’s been mentioned here. That said, I don’t understand what her personal issue was with me a total stranger. She needs to work on her professionalism and customer service skills as a hotel employee.

Room was garbage. Flooring when you walk in room was cracked and there was a piece of tile cracking and was lied to about the price and the the guy on the was lied about a quote for 3?days. When checking in he keep asking how we were going to charge for the nights and asked 3 times. And the manager this morning Had a major attitude when we were checking out and had no decency to listen. I will be calling corporate this is ridiculous this is how you treat paying customers

We vacationed here for the MW concert. Our stay was great, room was clean, location was safe and secured. We were well taken care of by Mehak, she made us feel very welcomed, helped us with anything we needed, great communication while on our way to this location coming from out of town, all our needs were met, all the staff is very kind and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again! It was a pleasure staying here.

Overall, the hotel is well maintained and clean. Our room was spacious and well equipped. We had a family suite which had 2 separate bedrooms with a shared bathroom. My room overlooked the busy street however where I could see sketchy characters shouting obscenities, arguing, urinating, etc. The police were called to the building our first morning (IDK why). The staff lock the front door during breakfast to keep out free-loaders trying to steal food. The food wasn't great but not terrible either. During check-in the receptionist didn't believe me that I was a guest and gave me attitude until she realized her mistake. During check-out, I was told to park in the fire zone by the side entrance because they had locked the front doors for breakfast. The hotel is decent but they have to run it like a maximum security prison because the neighborhood is in the ghetto. It's also near the I-10 freeway which was convenient.

There is an Indian woman at this property name Mehak she was the most rudest, disrespectful, and inconsiderate La Quinta employee that we ever encountered. I’m a disabled combat veteran who was injured in Iraq I have a service dog and I also had my vision impaired disabled mother with me at the La Quinta. On the morning of Saturday, Aug 2 at 10:50am I nicely asked Mehak if it’s possible can me and my blind mother get a courtesy later checkout because my mother is blind and it takes her and myself who is also disabled a little longer than most to gather all of our things too checkout. She rudely and disrespectfully tells me no and that she already charged us $40 for the late checkout and it was only 11am. We always use the La Quinta and they’re usually so nice and gives us an hour to checkout because of our disabilities but Mehak was so mean!! Even after she charged us $40 for a late checkout @12 noon when I went back up to my room to get my blind mother and service dog she told me with a horrible attitude that she was going to charge us another late checkout fee for $55 she said she doesn’t care about my mother being blind she’s still going to charge us another $55 charge, so that’s $95 of bogus charges we were charged just because of our disability and the color of our skin. So I just want to warn any people that goes to this La Quinta beware of the of the most rudest, disrespectful, inconsiderate employee name mehak, horrible person.

The location was acceptable, situated about 15 minutes from Grand Canyon University, where I was attending my commencement ceremony. Although my reservations were canceled, I took the initiative to call ahead and reserve a room, clearly informing them that I would be driving for 20 hours and arriving around 5:00 or 6:00 in the morning. I was assured that this would not be a problem. However, upon my arrival, I was forced to contact corporate myself to secure my room. The following morning, after my husband and I had taken some time to rest, we decided to shower. Just as I was about to step in, someone started banging on our door. A maintenance man demanded to enter, claiming we were causing water damage downstairs. I firmly stated that this was not our fault and made it clear that if taking a shower leads to damage, their facility's issues need to be addressed immediately.

Google
Great hotel, we had a two room suite with a shared bathroom. Worked great for my family. Had a desk so I can get some work done while on vacation. But the parking lot was tight and the area around the hotel is sketchy. Lots of homeless and transients around. Had to lock up my ice chest and tools inside the truck. Would not trust leaving them out. Staff was really cool. Did not catch their names but both ladies at the front desk were great.

Yelp
I stayed here because downtown Phoenix/Tempe/Scottsdale were too expensive. The good thing about this inn is that it had a gated fence and key card access to add a layer of protection. The area did seem a little sketch but not ghetto. The service workers did room service (I didn't) know and replenished towels/soaps which was great. Breakfast was lacking on my 1st day only had toast and sausage. The next day was nice they provided eggs, hash brown and sausage. The only complaint I have is their key card system as of 3/12/2025 would seem to not allow you access into your room after about 6-8 hours and you need the front desk people to reprogram it. Otherwise the hotel was decent for resting and exploring around Phoenix. For value, this is place is good.
google avatar

Yelp
NO responsibility by corporate, claiming it's a franchise. Totally unresponsive to complaints. Key card were useless, in many rooms, and has been a problem for years according to reviews.

Thomas L.

Yelp
Great staff, but bows on a cardboard box is how I would describe the building. thin walls, loud halls, loud ac, bugs from the ceiling= Would not recommend. far better facilities in Phoenix. Couldn't sleep a wink due to the noise from the ac, the hallway, and any other movement in the neighbouring rooms. 1 and done!

Yelp
Deplorable hotel Dorthy and the staff was rude . The hotel had junkies walking in and soliciting it was very unsafe and dirty !!! The manager Kai was rude and wasn't helpful at all !!! I wdnt recommend staying here if you have standards this is below the bar

Jaime S.

Yelp
It's an OK hotel but it's in a rough area full of tweakers and homeless people homeless people come to the pool and bathe. Also they gave me a room that was just carpet clean so the carpet was damp. Definitely not a place to stay for a vacation....

Ms. T.

Yelp
Horrible. Booking system messed up. Book one date and it puts in a different one. Extremely expensive for this tumble down place. Wait 10 plus min just to talk to a human at the desk (it was 9pm) and many more just to check in. Worst hotel experience, hands down. Terrible for La Quinta hotels.

Yelp
So we came to a dodgers spring training game and we stayed here two nights the lady at the counter said the stay would come with a buffet style breakfast with all the fixings. Let me tell you it was literally sausage links and French toast sticks. That's it. Look for $250.00 a night i mean come on. Dodger fans beware don't stay here. Try somewhere closer to Glendale.

Yelp
Ok you remember Las Vegas hotels? How they nickel and dime you for everything? Well this is the place, outside of Las Vegas. One night ( Saturday) $157.51 usd. that's what my bill said. Idk, I will look for other places next weekend if I'm here in Phoenix. Outside the area is filled with drugged out individuals. The parking lot is well lighted up. Still think twice before um, walking to Pollo Loco next door. Honestly on papaer this place this place is great but maybe it's just phoenix?

Yelp
We are in the process of selling our home so we decided to get a hotel while our home is being viewed. We decided to book at La Quinta as they are pet friendly, have no pet fee and they do not have weight restrictions ( we have a Great Dane.) We also have had good past experiences with La Quinta. We arrived Friday and had a quick and easy check in. Our first issue we ran into was our key cards would not open the side door to enter. After many failed tries we finally got one card to give us the green light. ( This was a continued issue in our stay) We then headed up to the third floor and settled into our semi cleaned room. The floors certainly didn't look like they had been cleaned, with small crumbs and a piece of gum stuck to the floor. After a few hours of being in our room and getting ready to put our little one to sleep the power went out and the fire alarms began going off, might I add eardrum blowing loud. We swooped up our kiddo and got the dog to head downstairs immediately to get them out of range of the alarms. Once reaching the second floor via the stairs we realized the alarm was only going off on the third floor. We proceeded to the lobby to try and get word on what was going on. The woman working n the lobby was frantic and trying to help and inform everyone the best she could. Many people were asking for refunds to go elsewhere while she was also trying to obtain power outage estimates and speak to her boss. She did a great job trying to inform everyone and complete requests as possible. We hung out in the lobby for about an hour, when finally the power returned. It certainly made for an eventful evening lol Turns out many hotels and business within the area had all lost power, still unsure of what happened. This certainly wasn't something La Quinta could control. They do have a continental breakfast and we were pleasantly pleased when we went to try it out. They had a great variety of foods such as; scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, cereal, fruit, make your own waffles and bread products. The staff was friendly and accommodating when we have needed more towels or trash taken, as they do not clean rooms while they are occupied due to covid. Overall we would stay here again if needed but I would appreciate the cleanliness of the room to be a bit more thorough.

Yelp
Hotel was attractive right away comparing to the one that was mistakingly reserved by phone through the agency. Once the confusion was corrected we settled In from a long drive. There were a few things that could have been avoided but I won't give details. Long story short to my amazement the room was compensated. We were not looking for this, it was just to notice the issue and move forward. The gals from night shift to day shift were supper nice and were very sorry for the issues at hand. The hotel was clean and all staff were very cordial.

Yelp
My husband and I drove cross country to visit family and found Phoenix to be a good stopping place based on distance and driving time. This la Quinta was great for our dogs. We brought two and there was no additional charge, just a form to fill out. The total cost of a single night stay on a Saturday night in August was just under $100... so it was a killer deal to us. But at the same time you get what you pay for. The area isn't that great, at 4am when we were packing the car back up there was a lot of people roaming around. There was a BMW in the parking lot on blocks. Homeless around the backside peeing along the hotel walls. Spiders and cockroaches in the room. Saving grace was a friendly staff member who came to kill said cockroach. The room was clean, had a comfortable bed and was decent sized. Air conditioning worked. Shower had decent pressure.

Yelp
DO NOT STAY HERE! THERE IS BED BUGS AND THEY PLACED MY FIANCE IN DANGER! They assigned my fiances hotel room to another couple that tried coming in at 1 am. Good thing my dog stopped them! My dog would not stop whining so my fiance took the dog outside. His card stopped working and June the front office personnel cut him off and was very rude until she found out SHE assigned an occupied room. She kept blaming the morning front office saying on her end it was vacant! My fiance left at 2 am because he did not feel safe! We placed a complaint with La Quinta/Wyndham and received an email from Latusha the manager with no accountability!! My fiance had bug bites after the stay and the doctor said it was bed bug bites from the hotel.

Yelp
The service was excellent, staff was excellent, the property was clean ,the room was excellent . They had towels for swimming. U ask a question a place in the area they had knowledge about it. Very quiet place to stay and unwind. Nice huge bathroom.itwas in a gorgeous neighborhood. I will be back there again for these reasons.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I were traveling to Albuquerque from San Diego with our two dogs and needed a pet friendly spot to stay for the night. I'd heard great things about La Quinta from fellow dog owners and we chose this location since it was close to several major freeways in Phoenix and we weren't sure if the weather was going to affect which route we would take the next day. Although I read in other reviews that this was a shady part of time, I never felt unsafe and the hotel was well kept. We checked in around 11 pm and settled in quickly for the night as we wanted to get an early start on the road the next morning. The room was relatively clean; my boyfriend noticed a stain on the carpet but it wasn't a huge concern for me. I was almost more relieved that the room wasn't in perfect condition as it made me slightly less worried that my dogs could cause any accidental damage. The room had a small fridge with an even smaller freezer but it was perfect for the few items that we had in our cooler, including our ice packs. There was also a microwave, which I used to make a late night snack of nachos . I was most impressed with the hotels breakfast buffet, which included more options than usual. The mini hot buffet spread of hash browns, scrambled eggs and bacon was an especially nice touch and paired wll with the standard waffles, cereal and bread and pastry options. Also loved that it had yogurt and granola as well as hard boiled eggs. I was so stuffed from breakfast that I barely wanted lunch by the time we hit the New Mexico border. Since we were in such a rush to leave that morning to make it to Albuquerque before sunset, I skipped the shower but the bathroom seemed decent. I was more than happy with the hotel for the price and will definitely consider staying here again, with or without my dogs.

Yelp
Great place to stay, location is perfect close to the free way so it makes it easy to get where you want doesn't seem to far from anywhere, beds are comfortable, breakfast was good and convenient, the pool is nice and has a jacuzzi. I have stayed twice and will probably be back.

Yelp
This hotel is in a shady part of town, like others have mentioned, but I never felt unsafe. However, we did bring everything in the hotel rather than leaving anything in the car overnight. The room and the pool were nice and comfortable. There was a feral cat in the lobby that I was told had recently been "adopted/fostered" by the staff and that made me a little leery because my husband is allergic, but we didn't see it again and his allergies didn't flair up. Overall, we had a really nice stay here and would stay here again next time we're stopping over in PHX.

Yelp
Buyer beware, we book a room while on the road. We went with La Quinta inn because they are usually very nice. We pulled up in the parking lot only to find a homeless camp directly across the street. Not feeling safe to leave our car, we drove on to Goodyear Az and found another place for the night, so I cancelled the reservation. First I never received a confirmation for the booking and had no idea you get charged if you cancel after 6pm. Huh? I have contacted La Tasha at the hotel and she said sorry it's company policy. I contacted Wyndham Customer Care and they said sorry, these hotels are franchised and call the hotel. I called the hotel one last time this morning, and she told me the hotel was fully booked the day of our arrival, and that she could have sold our room if we cancelled by 6 pm. When we pulled up there were about 6 cars in the lot. Hummmmm The company claims that our safety is top priority, we'll that's a lie. Very disappointed with the customer service. R and C

Yelp
Great place to stay. We come to Phoenix/ Glendale to visit family and stay at various hotels and this has been the best so far. We booked by calling and the staff was very nice on the phone. Super comfortable beds, very clean rooms and friendly staff. Our double queen room had a mini fridge and microwave which came in handy to make tea. Very quiet and we got great sleep. Bathrooms was well stocked, they provided Pantene shampoo and conditioner as well as lotion and bar soaps. Breakfast was good and convenient. Will stay again!

Yelp
Do not stay here! At first, everything seemed up to par and the staff had great customer service. I called ahead of time to see what their cleaning and COViD procedures were and the manager Vickie assured me everything was clean and that they would do a deep clean upon request. Great! We finally arrive and check in. It's not the best part of town however we were only staying for 2 nights. And it was close to where we needed to be for a family gathering. When we walked in the room smelled like they did a deep cleaning. We noticed there wasn't a remote to our tv so we requested one at the front desk. The front desk rep said she would stop by our room to drop one off. 45min later, no one arrived. We finally went to the front and got one however that one didn't work. Before we left for the day we told them we'd be back later and request one at that time. When we came back around 11pm, we went to the front to get the remote however no one was there. After calling several times from our cell phone to see if someone would come, the front desk rep came in from outside. She gave us 3 remotes to see which one worked. None of the remotes turned the tv on. But once we manually turned it on, the remote would only change the channel. You couldn't change the volume or turn the tv off. When we fell asleep we could hear our neighbors up talking and their children screaming but we fell asleep none the less. Around 3/4am, we woke to the same loud talking and tv. It was like they never went to sleep. At this point, we were fed up and extremely tired. We checked out immediately and stayed at the Kimpton. I highly recommend staying at the Kimpton just 10min away. Also, when we were putting our belongings in the car after checking out, we noticed drug dealers and working girls mingling around the parking lot. Not the greatest impression.
google avatar

Natalie N.

Yelp
Was told I could check in late. I was specific that I wouldn't arrive until 11p or even midnight and the girl said it would not be a problem. When we got there, after a long drive, the doors were locked, phone was off the hook, and there was not a living soul in sight after knocking on every window and door nearby the lobby. We called La Quinta corporate phone number and they couldn't get through to the hotel either. 20 minutes later someone emerged and avoided eye contact with us for about 8 minutes while we knocked on the lobby doors. Finally we got in and we're able to check in and go to sleep.... rooms are remodeled though.

Yelp
This place is INUNDATED with cigarette smokers, vapers, weed smokers, and people drinking and partying all hours of the night. I have had to move rooms 3 different times, to avoid the constant poisonous smoke and vape drifting into the rooms from guests who don't care about the safety and health of other guests. Most of the staff was helpful and attempted to make sure I was comfortable, but one staff member (female, Hispanic) LIED to me about the situation, claiming she had come upstairs (3rd floor) checked the rooms next door, gone back downstairs to the front desk and called me -- all within 1 minute, not even enough time for the elevator to arrive once (let alone twice). This happened at 6:45 am on a Sunday morning 8/23/2020. If you can stay elsewhere, DO IT - bad neighborhood, non-functional smoke detectors, indoor smoking and vaping, illegal drugs, partying all night...as an Army veteran, I'm appalled this is what I served my country to protect. Spend a few extra dollars for a NICE hotel.

Yelp
WOW! This was supposed to be a 1 night business trip which started at the Holiday in near by. Unfortunately the trip was extended for a couple of extra days and we had to move hotel. La Quinta was the only comparable property close by. WOW! this property was cheaper than the Holiday in and we got a King Suite with free breakfast. Although breakfast was barely edible, but you really can't go wrong with toast, yogurt, and juice...but it's FREE! Overall the rooms were so much nicer than the Holiday Inn.

Yelp
Decided to stay here while in town for Spring Training and you usually can't go wrong with a La Quinta. Our room was great, beds were comfortable, TV was at least a 50" with plenty of cable channels. Hotel itself was in good condition. Breakfast in the lobby was decent, biscuits and gravy with sausage one day, eggs and bacon with hash browns the next. Overall we couldn't complain. The only thing is the location of the place is not really somewhere you would want to walk around a lot at night since there's not much surrounding the area but also not the best neighborhood. Overall, we would probably stay here again since we just needed a place to crash while in town.
google avatar

Yelp
Customer service was awful. The front desk lady was rude and was usually on her cell phone. Don't plan on staying there ever again.

Yelp
Frustrating stay. My sister and I stayed here as part of our travels around Arizona. We stayed at two other La Quinta's during our travel. We were there for 3 nights. The first two were okay-just know if you stay here it is unbelievably loud due to the location and the traffic, and the people drag racing at all hours of the night. On top of that, on our final night, the room next to us had an all-night party. I called the reception desk and told them and they did nothing. We had an early flight and a 6:00 a.m. start to Saturday morning. The room next to us finally went to bed about 3:00 a.m. Terrible place to stay due to the noise. (and it's not in a great neighborhood.)

Yelp
We stayed at 8 La Quintas across California, Arizona and New Mexico on our Xmas road trip and the La Quinta at 4929 West McDowell Rd, Phoenix was the biggest disappointment. Room #115 was horrible. Do not accept this room. Go to another hotel if they lie and tell you it's the last room available. First, it is right across from the elevator. We heard all the noise from drunk guests returning late at night then heard all the noisy early birds getting their buffet on at the crack. No one bothers to think that maybe I should be quiet because there are rooms here. Second, an alarm was going off for hours starting at 630am. We finally tracked it down to the maintenance room that room 115 shares a wall. We called the front desk and someone did turn it off after 20 minutes. Third, the room looked decent when we walked in but we soon realized it was just a pig with lipstick. See pics on the moldy shower, cracked mirror, burnt covers and peeling paint. Lastly, the remote didn't work. You had to punch in each channel number because the channel arrows didn't work. When the front desk asked during check-out if we had a pleasant stay, we said no and explained all the reasons we were disappointed. Her only response was "Oh, I apologize." That's it? Well I apologize for this review (not really).

Pam S.

Yelp
Worst hotel that we ever stayed in! Our room was filthy and the staff laughed when we asked for a cancellation or refund after seeing the room. Dust everywhere, dead bugs on the floor and hair in the bathtub. Disgusting!!! They said they had no other rooms but their website said otherwise. Horrible place to stay!

Yelp
My friend and I were attending a local Peoria charity event. We decided to stay at this hotel for one night. The rooms were clean and the AC worked very well. The staff was very courteous to my friend by offering him a military discount and thanking him for his service. The area was quiet and just across the street from a convenient store. The complimentary breakfast included eggs, cereal, juice, coffee, fresh fruit, and yogurt. Overall, the LaQuinta in was a pleasant experience. I look forward to staying at their various locations throughout the country. I had horrible experiences with other hotel chains in the past. I'm using La Quinta from now on.

Yelp
My family and I stayed overnight on November 21st at this specific location. On the morning of November 22nd at 6 am my mother's in law car was broken into. A lot has been stolen, leaving the car very damaged on the driver's side door. The thieves stole her credit cards along with her social security card and birth certificate. They also stole a Vizio TV and other personal things of no value to anyone, but her. There were 2 reports filed, one by the hotel and one by the police. After notifying the hotel of the cost of the damages made to the car and spending own money on a new TV, she has received a call from Vicky, the general manager who said that she is very sympathetic to our loss, but it is not her problem. As the pictures show, there was supposed to be a video surveillance of the premises. But the cameras are not even working. And the one security guard they have, has left at 4 AM. Bear in mind, that the car was parked right in front of the hotel. Since they are not going to pay for my mother's in law damages, she will continue to pursue other options. Please, don't stay at this hotel. They are rotten, despicable and rude!

Yelp
A good deal for what it's worth. An older building. They have free wifi, tv and cable in each room, free breakfast, and a pool. Stayed here just one night and it was all that was needed! Not the best neighborhood to walk around but there are stores, restaurants (quick food) and many hotels nearby. Close to freeway.

Yelp
We were attending a concert at Ak-Chin Pavilion so I looked for something close by where we could stay. This place popped up for $89, which seemed very reasonable, so I booked it. The day of our stay I get a call from Loretta asking to confirm our reservation. I confirmed our party of four would be staying there and she asked if I would like to upgrade to the family suite (one king and two fulls) so I ask "how much"? She said the upgrade would be free. Sure, why not? High points: Clean lobby Free full breakfast buffet - not the most high quality food, but passable. Service - free upgrade I mentioned Things to note: Wife tried to make a phone call and the phone was not working. I later discovered it was not even connected. The thermostat in one of the two rooms was falling off the wall. The AC unit was, luckily, able to be controlled at the unit. The common areas of the hotel were clean but showed their age; wrinkled carpets, loud elevators... stuff like this. Comfortable and convenient, the free upgrade gave my family lots of room and allowed us not to be tripping over each other. I'd consider it if we ever are traveling this way again.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I visited Phoenix for the first time on a birthday trip. We flew in Wednesday morning with a 3pm check in. After getting settled with the rental and food we called for an early check in. Loretta was absolutely amazing. She was so accommodating with the early check in as well as a few tips to make us more comfortable with our stay in Phoenix. The room was clean and smelled amazing. Of course, due to Covid there was no daily house keeping but the staff was more than accommodating with wash cloths, towels and whatever else we needed. There's a great snack area with chips, drinks and minor necessities ready for purchase 24/7!!!! This was our first experience with 24/7 service. It was amazing. The pool was was clean with a nice size jacuzzi. Pool hours were from 8a-10p, we visited during a week with 115+ degree weather so this was definitely a plus. All in all a 10/10. Loretta was amazing and we can't thank her enough for being apart of our first visit to Phoenix.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised by the quality of my room, given its price-point. The king bed was pretty comfortable and the room was very quiet. We enjoyed the free breakfast (waffles, sausages/scrambled eggs, hash browns, pastries, cereals, fruit, coffee) and wifi a lot! Front desk clerks were nice enough and everything was clean. The neighborhood isn't the greatest, but the hotel is located close to major thoroughfares that take one away to nicer locales. I wished that the bathroom fan was quieter!! It automatically came on when one turned on the light and it definitely did not entice us to linger in the loo!

Yelp
My family and I were here in town for a funeral and we stayed atvthis location for a day. Qhen we checked in, we waited 15 minutes or so for the front desk lady to come in and help us. I called the hotel's number from my cell phone so hopefully he/she would come to answer the phone but she didnt. A couple of construction workers (could have been hotel workers working on construction) tried to help us check in but couldnt. Finally the front desk rep comes and finishes our transaction....without acknowledgement that we waited a while. Not a great first impression. The room was cozy and the bed was comfortable. These rooms are remodeled but kinda feels like they're put together with duck tape. Lastly, the hot breakfast did not include eggs. How?.....what?....i dont understand......i dont understand how you have a hot breakfast without eggs......i dont get it...makes me angry. Needless to say, i would never subject my family to no eggs for breakfast- i would never come to stay here again.

Yelp
Once again, I needed a moderately priced, pet-friendly hotel for the night and have had relatively positive experiences at La Quinta locations. Bonus points to this place for being a block off Interstate 10 (easy to find late-night and easy to get back on the road in the morning) When pulling up and trying to park, I had to drive completely around the building to an obscure back corner far away from any doors. There were huge trucks and trailers taking up multiple spots. Parking was just terrible. Minus half a star for that. The front desk girl was cheery and welcoming, despite it being quite late. She offered me water with oranges which was very refreshing. (They had watermelon water the next morning!) When I got to the room, I first noticed that the pillows and bed looked plush and comfortable. Luckily for me and for this hotel, they were. The closet was large and the bathroom was spacious and new. There was a microwave and fridge and a ton of dresser space. The work desk was a nice touch. Upon further investigation, I found an awkward red stain on the carpet (pictured). Minus another half star for that. The digital climate control was a nice upgraded feature and other than the stain, the room looked and smelled clean. The breakfast was pretty good; waffles, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, cereal, etc. There is a pretty standard hotel fitness center and an outdoor pool for when it isn't 20 degrees outside. Overall, especially for the price, I enjoyed my stay and have nothing but respect for the La Quinta brand. This was a nice place to rest my head and I would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised with our stay here. Having never stayed with this brand of hotel I didn't know what to expect, but I'm glad we took a chance. Plus, the pictures on the internet weren't bad either. :) The surrounding location is okay. It's near a business area and other motels. I had no problem walking my dog past 10:30pm. The rooms are VERY clean with nice white clean sheets and comfy beds, and I love the fact that my dog got to stay with us in the room (with no extra charge). :) Also, the free breakfast was great! I got fresh waffles and during my stay here I had fresh biscuits and gravy. Kinda glad they had a little bit of a rotation on the food too. I got scrambled eggs and bacon one morning too. Bacon makes everything better! LOL (sometimes. LOL) They have a great selection of pastries, cereal, etc. If I'm ever back in the area, I will not hesitate to stay here. And the price is just right! Thanks, Arizona! :)

Yelp
I am extremely disappointed at this location not only does it look like its going to fall apart this ducked place has bed bugs I will never stay here again....

Yelp
The room was quiet, halls were quiet at night, front desk staff very nice, and 12:00 check out which is later than most hotels. Decent continental breakfast offerings. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean but could use some cosmetic detail repairs. Can't say it's worth $240 though. Phoenix and this hotel aren't glamorous enough to be charging $240/night tho.

Yelp
Don't stay here! I had to wait 15 minutes for the front desk woman to show up to check in. There was a security guard but he was chatting with the construction workers and was generally inattentive. He did ask me if I had a light when I went to my car to get my luggage. Classy. There is construction outside my room at 11:30 on a Monday night. The workers were jerks to me when I tried to get to the front desk to ask for a replacement office chair since the one in my newly renovated room was completely broken. There were no tissues in the bathroom as well. When I got past the construction workers the front desk person was gone again and I gave up after 10 minutes of waiting. This is the most expensive La Quinta I've stayed in on my cross country trip and hands down the worst in every facet of service and quality. How the people here have jobs is a mystery to me.

Yelp
Hotel was clean, free breakfast was good, but the area is sketchy... Not many good places to eat around either

Yelp
Hotel was clean, but upon arrival the main entry doors were locked apparently due to how sketchy the area was. At 1 am a lot of loitering and sure didn't feel safe leaving our belongings in our car overnight. Top this off with a very rude lady working breakfast who didn't want to allow my children to get their own breakfast and kept giving us and then the evil eye...2 stars barely

Yelp
Despite the bad reviews here on yelp. I decided to give it a shot. It was a pretty good experience. Rooms have been remodeled. Area is a little fishy however every one minds their own business so make sure you do the same. Once your in the area of the hotel its Super Safe. I am a commercial Driver & they do have a CDL discount. You can also park your big rig right in front of the hotel by the sidewalk. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. Unfortunately I didn't have breakfast however they do provide free breakfast. Also added a video of the room I stayed Hope this helps.

Yelp
We visited end of February. While the location of the hotel is not in the best area of Phoenix, we felt safe inside. The people who work there were very friendly and accommodating especially Loretta at the desk and the woman who takes care of the breakfast area. Our rooms were very clean and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. The pool and hot tub were clean too. I highly recommend this place if you have business or spring training to take care of.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised by the outside and inside. I wasn't expecting a lot as I was doing a quick turnaround trip. This hotel was close to the I-10, it's a motel/hotel fast food gas station neighborhood. Well lit outside. Clean, odor-free, bug free, good plumbing on the inside. AC works great and wasn't noisy. No problems with any of the staff although the security guard on the night I checked in looked a tad bit sketchy but overall I had no complaints and I'd stay here again.

Yelp
We had a baseball tournament in Maryvale, AZ and wanted a hotel that was really close to our field (at the Milwaukee Brewers Training Complex). We wanted a clean, fairly new and family-friendly hotel that served a hot breakfast. The rate was very fair and it checked off all the boxes. The lobby was a nice, modern space to "hang out" with teammates and friends and there is a nice fitness center and pool. The hot breakfast was solid- eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, pastries, bagels and cream cheese, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, bananas, oranges and apples, and assorted bottled juices. Having such a great breakfast at the hotel each morning saved a lot of money! Loretta worked the front desk all weekend and went out of her way to make us comfortable. She offered fresh towels and even let us check out late so our boys could shower and change clothes before our road trip back home. She really took care of us. If we play at this field again, we will be staying here.

Yelp
To start off , we had just got at the hotel and we got a noise complaint with in seconds and after 30 minutes the manager came to our door angry , (mind you, I have 2 small kids) telling me to get out of his hotel that I chose the wrong place to stay and that I wasn't out with in 25 minutes that he was gonna call the cops and they will kick me out , in my life has that happened to me or my family!! DONT GO HERE THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU !

Yelp
Made the reservation based on the proximity to I 10. I didn't realize what a sketchy part of town this was. When we pulled up to the front to check in there was a security guard out front sharing a flask with what could only be a working girl and a really jumpy looking guy. I was frankly surprised the next morning that our car had not been broken into. That said, there are both pros and cons to this hotel: Pros... Nice artwork. I liked the ceiling fan in the room. Decent towels. Plenty of storage space and nice counterspace in the bathroom area. Cons... The handle on the toilet was very loose and had to be flushed three times just to get paper down. The valve that switched the water flow from the bathtub to the shower was defective and only a trickle of water came out of the shower head while the bathtub faucet continued to run. The shower curtain was covered with mold. The pillows were very lumpy and the mattress was the worst I have ever slept on in a hotel room. I woke up with such a bad back I couldn't stand up straight. The mattress was cheap and/ or old as it had a big valley in the middle. And the sheets were pilly . Very thin walls-we could hear people up-and-down the stairwell and above our heads all night. Ignore the pictures of the rooms on the website. They were certainly not representative of our room. We had two chairs in the room. One was a child size chair next to the bed and the other was a really cheap office chair with a torn vinyl seat. Wyndham should be ashamed to have their name on this hotel.
