The atmosphere was all Christmasy and cozy, though it is a very crammed space where seats are close to each other and every corner is filled with all kinds of paraphernalia. Service was sufficient, reasonably prompt though not all too careful and aware. Many (too many?) entries in the menu, like one of those places that doesn’t do good with any particular preparation. Portions were overly abundant, much more than expected. Entrees and first courses sufficient, not particularly good nor bad. The second courses and especially the meat (tagliata steak and the filet) were exceptionally good, I dare say some of the best I have had since much time: great ingredients and very well made. So were the desserts. All in all, it’s a place that (if my experience is any indication of their usual performance) one must visit time and again for the meat!
