On the Grid : La Republika

"One of the best things about Barcelona is that it’s really easy to ride around by bike, and it also happens to be the best way of feeling the rhythm of the city. La Republika is more than a place to rent your wheels, here they also fix up bikes to give them a new lease of life. And if you end up falling in love with your ride, you can buy it! Pop by here and have a look at their most recent passion project – in the workshop they’re sure to be working on something." - ZeClé

A restaurant with a 1000% Argentine vibe. The asado wasn’t the best in terms of price-quality ratio, but it’s still worth visiting. The staff makes you feel right at home, and the place has beautiful spots that any lover of Argentine culture will appreciate

It's a quiet place, but resembles more to a sports bar. The food was delicious but if you are used to eat a decent/bigger serving you might have to reconsider a bit. We ordered the menu for 2 persons but the serving would have been barely enough for 1 person. We did not have breakfast that day as we imagined slightly bigger servings, so I highly recommend having breakfast before coming to this place. The price was acceptable and the waiter very nice!

Their service is very useless. I got my order after waiting for an hour. The customer called me. They even gave OK before the machine even placed the order. Your customer called me repeatedly.

Disappointing, but expected... We went for the Tuesday All-You-Can-Eat offer where they serve you endless meat for 10 €/pp. The place is friendly although the staff is non-existent (we basically had to fetch the menu ourselves), and the place looks a lot more like a pub/sports bar than a restaurant. However, the "Argentinian BBQ" meat that they serve to you is basically just warmed up defrosted steaks (see picture) very hard to chew and without any flavour. You'll leave the place with your stomach full, but disappointed because you basically ate a full animal for no real pleasure: but after all, what could you expect for a 10€ experience at a sport's bar... If you are looking to fill up your stomach with endless meat, go, otherwise, go somewhere else!

I had the parrila.. it was cheap and a lot of near, but no side dishes, bread or vinagrete... It needs something to accompany the meat.. also the cast iron looks great, but it overcooked the meat really bad. The service was great and atmosphere is also great... Just the execution of the meat was poor.
