LA RESERVE 1785 HOTEL PARTICULIER & SPA at Canggu BALI

This hotel is one of the best I have stayed in. The service is incredible! The best we have ever had in a hotel. All the staff were lovely and very friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant staff were amazing. The food incredible! Complements to the chef. My husband was addicted to the Berry jam and the croissants they gave us at breakfast time. Also the buggy that is available to take you to local restaurants and shops was great. We highly recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at La Reserve 1785. The environment was very quiet and peaceful, making it ideal for a truly relaxing getaway. All the staff were incredibly warm and friendly, and anything we needed was responded to promptly via WhatsApp, which made our stay seamless and stress-free. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, which offered a great variety, including truffle scrambled eggs, pancakes, assorted pastries, and fresh fruits. The daily afternoon tea was also a lovely touch. The team even went the extra mile to decorate our room with balloons for a birthday, which was a wonderful surprise and made the stay feel extra special. Another highlight was the tuk-tuk service within Canggu, which made it very convenient to visit nearby places. Overall, the service, atmosphere, and attention to detail were outstanding. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

Such an amazing gem within the Canggu area. We stayed at a pavilion pool suite for 4 nights and absolutely loved our stay. The hotel feels like an oasis once you step into the reception area - it is truly a boutique hotel, feels very private. We enjoyed our spacious room but special shout out to the fully customisable breakfast menu and you can enjoy breakfast any time of the day after 7:30am. The hotel also offers a buggy service for local areas which is very handy. The service is impeccable - very attentive staff, always ready to help with a smile. We had an awesome time here!

I had such an amazing stay at La Reserve and would recommend it to absolutely anyone! The hotel is stunning—tucked away in a perfect part of Canggu that keeps you close to all the action while still feeling serene and peaceful. The property itself is gorgeous and genuinely higher quality than many other villas I’ve stayed at in Bali. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and everything feels thoughtfully curated and high-end. The breakfast and food were also incredible. But MOST IMPORTANTLY… THE SERVICE IS OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! The concierge and every member of the staff were truly exceptional—warm, attentive, and ready to help with absolutely anything. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Design, Peace, and Exceptional Service in the Heart of Bali 1785 completely exceeded my expectations! Before coming, I had already read reviews saying that the environment, service, and quality were all perfect, and I wondered why people were praising it so much. I originally booked another hotel at a similar price range, but after seeing the comments and room photos of 1785, I decided to switch—and I’m so glad I did. The hotel isn’t big, but it has a strong design aesthetic and a warm, personal touch. It’s also incredibly quiet. After being in the slightly crowded streets of Bali, being able to return so quickly to a place that feels almost secluded from the world is such a refreshing feeling. The breakfast is truly delicious and of great quality. The last time I had breakfast that left such a strong impression on me was at Four Seasons George V in Paris. The bed, pillows, and even the overall scent of the room were exactly to my taste. Another very convenient thing is that if you’re going anywhere within about 1 km, the hotel buggy will pick you up and drop you off. This service is such a luxury. I joined a run club early in the morning, had to be there by 6 AM, and the buggy took me there and picked me up after. That level of service feels incredibly high-end. This was a three-night solo trip, and when I left, I honestly felt a little reluctant to go. If I come back to Bali again, I will definitely stay here once more.

We were celebrating our anniversary here, and everything was just perfect. The service went far beyond our expectations — everyone was so kind and thoughtful. We were looking for a running track, and they even arranged a special tour a day before just to make sure we liked it. It was such a nice gesture! What impressed us most were the little details — they remembered exactly what we liked, like our decaf coffee, and the next morning they already had it ready without us having to ask. Every single staff member seemed to genuinely care, and it really made our stay special. We’ll definitely be back, and we can’t wait for their new property to open!
